19 The Date 6.2
"Maliki," I feel her hand on my arm softly. "Was that you?" I turn my head meeting her eyes.
"This is a life I no longer live I beg you not to ask any more Jenny. You won't like what you learned." I growl lowly more pissed off.
I see the hurt in her eyes, but her face becomes firm and obnoxious when she's ready to fight like always.
"Fine, have it your way this is a fake relationship anyway, I couldn't give to shits bout your past anyway. Long as we find the pricks behind all problems and you keep your promise, I don't need to know a thing about you." She was biting back and spitting fire because she was hurt by my words but she had no idea how I am trying to keep her safe. Ignorance is bliss at the moment. I watch as she marches towards the red Jag I rented for the night.
"Are we going or not?" She turns and glares at me. I take the pictures and news clippings and fold them up. Stuffing them inside my suit, then follow her, opening the passenger door for her. I watch her slide in no matter how mad she is at me seeing her like this my other brain gets excited. I have to remind him that this was a fake date and we were not really a couple. Meaning chances of me making it to her bed tonight was none.
Walking around I climb in, starting the ignition. I glance her way I can't help feeling she looks so fucking good sitting there in that seat. Even if she's fuming. I pull out of her parking lot and onto the road wondering if she will now be grouchy all night.
Pulling in front of La Cantina 's I notice her eyes light up and grow 3 sizes. I pull into a parking spot that had just become available. It was definitely busy. I played all the stops as the boyfriend making sure to open the car door for her. I offer her my arm to escort her. I don't miss the roll of the eyes but I also notice the soft blush, she might think its corny but seems she likes corny. The table had been reserved already as I had called ahead, so there was no waiting.
Pulling out a chair she takes a seat. I watch as her eyes wonder around like she was experiencing something new.
"Ever been here?" I ask though I figured the answer was already a no.
She shakes her head confirming my suspicions.
"Do you ever have time to go anywhere?" I ask more curious. I watch her expression go from excited to hard.
"Don't try to play nice when I'm still mad that you were so cold." She grabs her menu holding it up to ignore me. I sigh.
"If I ask you to forgive me darling, will you?" I pout.
She folds the menu setting it down, looking at me releasing a deep sigh. "Can you stop up playing the boyfriend act so much, it feels like your trying too hard with all the endearments'.
"Will that make you happy though, I pretty sure the look on your face says you like the endearments." I smile at her. Her face flushes more.
"Just stop it already of I going to tape your mouth shut." She growls in embarrassment.
I chuckle "Whatever you say sweet cheeks." I watch her eyebrows knit together at my last words.
"Are you always so annoying." Her eyes were like daggers glaring at me. I shrug my shoulders.
"Not that I have ever been told. Most find me calming and pleasing to be around."
"They're idiots." She answers without missing a beat. I chuckle a little. Wonder how Anna and Ren would take it if they learned they were called idiots.
The waiter came over. Jenny after the few nights ago passed on a bottle of wine. Which I was fine with. Last thing I needed was her drunk again and in the bathroom after two glasses.

How can one man be so annoying? The food comes while I sit and stew wondering about the envelope that came and he was hiding it from me. I know it was none of my business but I was really curious.
As the meal was coming to an end, I couldn't stand it anymore. "How about we do a trade, you ask I'll answer and vice versa. He contemplated; what do you want to know?
"Dessert," a waiter comes by stopping at our table asking. I shake my head though I kind of wanted a piece of strawberry shortcake. The dessert cart has passed by a few times and I noticed the dessert each time it passed by.
"Wait," Maliki stopped the waiter from leaving walking over to the cart. Turning around he came back setting the strawberry short cake down in front of himself. I stare at it eyes wide. I feel my mouth drool. Moments like this I curse being a model and being on a constant diet. I already broke it this week with French Toast.
"You want it?" I look up meeting Maliki's eyes, a smirk playing across his face. Biting my lip, I shake my head.
"No, go ahead and enjoy it." I watch as he cuts into it taking a small bit savoring it.
He glances back my way starts chuckling, and slides the plate my way.
"What is so funny?" I ask panicked, suddenly worried about if I was making a weird expression.
"Sorry Jenny, I got it knowing you want it, I didn't know it I teased you that you would give me a look like I just killed your kitten." He laughs a little more. My face goes pale.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." I push the plate back. "I don't eat sweets anyway."
"You are plenty thin enough little typhoon, no need to hold back or lie."
"I'm not lying!" I shout a little louder than I had planned. The people in the restaurant turn and look at me. I feel my face heat up turning red.
He props his head up with his hand. An amused smile on his face. Taking the fork, I watch him cut off a piece stabbing it. His eyes crinkle a little with more amusement as he turns the bite toward me. He holds it in front of my mouth waiting for me. I feel my face go brighter red. Does he expect me too seriously let him feed me?
"You got two options babe, either I feed you, or you take this and eat it on your own. either way you're eating this dessert.
"This is a life I no longer live I beg you not to ask any more Jenny. You won't like what you learned." I growl lowly more pissed off.
