32 You offended a wrong person

Back in her room, she looks at the sleeping Tae Il. There is no way that she can tell him anything. Nam Ji Won decides to take a bath and change her clothes. After she is done, she opens the door and goes to Lee Hyo Rin's room. It looks like she is sleeping.

She comes back and packs her stuff and leaves. She books a cab in front of the hotel and goes to the nearest station. She boards the first train to her home. At dawn, she reaches her home.

"Ji Won Ah?" Her father is surprised to see her. "You came now?"

"Appa, I have helped a murderer."

Her father almost laughs, but he stops when he sees her expression. In his years of work as a cop, he has seen this expression before.

"Ji Won, did you do something wrong?" Her mother asks when she sees her.

"I..." Nam Ji Won looks down at her feet.

"Go back inside," Her father tells her mother. "Go back to sleep."

"But?" Her mother feels that something is not right.

"Go." Her father speaks sternly. "I need to talk to her."

"Don't be hard on her." Her mother thinks that Ji Won fought with someone. Her daughter's temper isn't good.

Nam Ji Won watches her go with an anxious heart.

"Tell me everything." She hears her father say. "Don't skip a single detail."

When she tells her father everything from the beginning, he doesn't show her any reaction. No hate or anger. She feels like a criminal.

"We have to go to the police station," At the end, her father tells her pensively. "You will confess everything."

"Do you hate me, Appa?" She asks with tears in her eyes.

"I am disappointed that you lied to me and tricked those girls..."

"I am sorry." Nam Ji Won regrets everything. "I wish, I could turn back time."

"You can't..." He stands up. "That's how you learn. Let's go."

Nam Ji Won and her father leave the house. They walk instead of taking a cab. The police station isn't far from their home.

"Job's complete." A man wears his sunglasses back again in the car from a distant. He has been following the father and daughter since they left the house.

"The client asked to make sure that the girl doesn't die." He hears on the phone. "She should get hurt, but she shouldn't die."

"I have to make sure that she doesn't die after such an accident?" The man laughs. "Do you know how much energy it takes to control two minds at the same time. The truck driver was easy, but that girl's father was a tough one."

"If she lives, it's fine. Her condition doesn't matter." The voice is mechanical and emotionless. "The client will pay double of the original fees if you make sure that she lives a miserable life."

"What's a miserable life?" The man looks at the crowd around the two bodies. "I think that my life is miserable enough."

"CC, don't argue with me. The girl might not have enough time left."

"Her heart is still beating."

"So?"

"Ask the client what I should exactly do."

There is a long pause. Then, the phone rings again. CC puts it on the speaker.

"A mind lock is fine. She shouldn't ever wake up. The client will make sure that she lives a long life in bed."

The ambulance arrives. The father and daughter's bodies are carried inside the ambulance. He follows it to the hospital. "It's a pity. Anyway, I will do my final work. I will make sure that she lives a miserable life."

"Do it cleanly." The voice reminds him. "She should never wake up."

CC goes inside the hospital. She has already been taken to the operating room. The girl's family hasn't arrived yet. He doesn't go near her. His range is nearly ten meters. He focuses on her. He finds her easily. He goes inside her head. He finds it too quiet, but it's natural if the person was going through a near death experience. He puts a shield around her mind with a lock inside the mind. That way, she can never wake up. He comes back inside his body and destroys the key.

"My apologies," He says to her from a distance. "You offended a wrong person. After you die as sleeping beauty, have a good next life. Don't offend anyone like my client."
