3 A Leader?

The War Hall's cold metal walls were surrounded with thick aura of slaughter. The varied eyes of the Jadasians were dominated with pride for the lust of blood, death, massacre and endless evilness. The Kingdom's official military uniform was worn by everyone inside. Their chests were engraved with snowflake emblems. Butterflies on their shoulders marked their ranks; the colorful the higher.

"No mercy! Kill everyone, even their ants must know the exact meaning of Jadasians!"

"My Prince, the star must be dimmed in their planet! Mist of misery and death must flood their lands!"

"Fear must be the seedling of their hearts!"

Sounds of confidence and decisiveness to rule over the Universe boomed like thunder. These great men knew that this war must be taken with utmost importance not only in their Kingdom but for the Empire as a whole.

"My Prince! I, Highest Supreme General Crysulus Vein Derta, give my word that we will have victory in this war!" The First Prince's attention turned on him after he heard his words.

"How sure are you, Highest Supreme General Crysulus Vein Derta, that you can guarantee me a victory?" the First Prince who sat in the central throne asked with his usual cold, stiff face.

"I can turn a planet upside down! I can kill thousands in a split second and I can do anything a Jadasian can!" the 12 colored Butterfly Jadasian answered with confidence.

"Are you really what you are on those words you had said?" as soon as the words had been said, the corners of the War Hall calmed silently as if on cue. The tension built up naturally as hundreds of gazes fell upon the Jadasian on the third row.

"My Prince..." Crysulus was on the first lines when he was cut helpless.

"If so, I am ashamed," the First Prince exclaimed, simple like the cold breeze that entered the War Hall. He looked at everyone inside with coldness emitting out from his body. The whole War Hall turned into ice and the air distorted and dropped to freezing point. Ice crystals spread all over the wall and covered it entirely. Countless fractures formed in the walls as a result.

All the Jadasians have worried expressions on their faces on what was happening, but they didn't raise a concerned thought about it. They perceived through his stances that there was something wrong about the First Prince's pronunciations. Setting it aside was better than to make this monster in the center explode.

"If you can turn a planet upside down, can you turn this stone into dust?" the First Prince asked and pulled out a dark-brown stone from his necklace and threw it towards the Jadasian.

"Deryante susquen dusta!" Crysulus uttered a spell and a bright flashing light collided onto the stone. It brought a smashing force enough to flatten a skyscraper made from irons.

The whole room knew that something worse could happen at any moment. Powerful shields were instantly summoned by everyone, except for the First Prince and the Jadasians on the first row. The whole room witnessed a deafening silence followed by a roaring force of sound waves enough to fracture the titanium pillars of the hall.

As the powerful force wore down in a split second, curious gazes were thrown at the thumb-sized stone. The Jadasian in front of it a while ago was now tossed twenty feet away from it. Disbelief was painted on his image and a look of defiance was plastered on his trembling body.

"Can you kill this thing in a split second?" Once again, the First Prince pulled out another thing out of his necklace. This time he pulled out a chick, a baby of some kind of creature no one in this room had seen before except for himself.

It flew again to the Jadasian who was now positioned in an embarrassing way. His body was crunched on the cold floor and his wings were in oppressing situation hanging out burnt.

The Jadasian's eyes were coated with unyielding pride looking at the chick and uttered another spell, "Diega honyarya vandaske!"

This time, the whole room was covered with wild colors meant only for one thing, destroy the chick in front of it. It circled the air faster and faster as it became a small round object the size of a golf ball. It had all the colors in the universe and the will to kill anything. It slowly ascended towards the Jadasian and threw it towards the chick.

The same thing happened like before, releasing powerful shockwaves that rippled in the surrounding area but hadn't made a scratch on its target. The Jadasian was now fuming with red eyes, he's now losing his composure. His ragged panting says that he'll break down anytime soon.

"That stone I gave you, compose the planet of our enemy. The chick I gave you are the babies of their beasts used to defend their sovereignty. If you are a Jadasian, why can't you destroy those ordinary things?!" The First Prince stood up from his throne and uttered some spell to clean up the mess. The War Hall turned to its usual look. It was as if nothing had happened. He looked at the Jadasian who was now vomiting blood and asked, "Now, can you guarantee me a victory?!"

The whole room experienced a familiar deathly silence. This was a thing only a loser could suffer from.

"My Prince..." (those things are not ordinary!) he wanted to voice out.

"Look at the screen in front of you. That's the information I gathered about those Elementalists," he said snapping his right fingers and light radiated in front of the powerful Jadasians. He doesn't care about a foolish Jadasian. Why would he in the first place? Planning ten years ahead of the invasion was something Jadasians were already used to. War for them meant their future. Whatever it may be, any war must be taken with utmost seriousness. However, this kind of mantra was a question in front of the most powerful being inside this War Hall.

The War Hall came back to normal and the Jadasian on the floor went back to his chair totally ashamed of himself. All the details regarding their enemy flashed in the computer hologram in front of them. They studied it intently not missing any information. As the Fleet Commanders, Ground Generals and Officers of Yoahan, it was their pride to serve the top Kingdom of the Empire. But of course, it doesn't mean that the other Kingdoms were weak. They knew that each of the Kingdoms had their own cards to play. Also, this war was not just war - it's competition.

"Our mission is to make them our slaves! Who won't love those Elementalists, they're better than the others! They are Gods, the same with us! After this war, those Gods will be our slaves!" Too fancy, the First Prince knew, but who cared. At least, it's enough to make some of the Jadasians' inside to delusion that foolish dream. Was it enough? What he believed was the authority and the only thing that must be followed in this room.

"Everyone those are just what I wanted to say and for some of the minor plans and details, please ask Deisham and Neros. That would be all," he said in a fast tone and then vanished into thin air.

That's how it ends every time. They would sometimes; no, every time question the authority of their Commander-in-Chief. 'A leader is not like that! He leads his army and plans everything with them! He's a one-sided leader!' some of the Jadasians were teased to say. Fifty years that had past when he became their Commander-in-chief, was always clouded with doubt. Why did they win every single war?! Was it because he had the best of the best military personnel, or was it because of luck?! Their enemy might be weak, no, they left the weak rot from their obscurity! Then, why do they won every war?! Not a single defeat! Let the surroundings know that you were stupid, or something like that? A strategy, maybe.

When Deisham and Neros heard it, they wanted to shout at him because this so-called minor planning was a headache. It was no small details it was large or even larger, but before they could, he was already gone. Speaking the word 'please' was not the First Prince's attitude - he said it to ease Deisham's and Neros's mind in retorting more about it. Therefore, they had no choice but to follow.

'No!!!' The word that can't be uttered before everyone in the hall flooded them with questions. Sometimes, they couldn't understand when to take this Prince of them seriously. He's something that could not be predicted. He was complicated and complex as what they knew of him, so far.
