267 Ch. 267 'Richard vs Skylar' 2

Not having finished thinking about a plan to defend against the impending attack, the white knight disappeared. Almost at the same time, Richard was once again flung up and knocked down.

Richard, who was still holding back the wind in front of him, closed his eyes to endure the pain he was about to receive. But the pain didn't come. Instead, a voice called out to him, and the force of the wind in front disappeared.

"Richard, are you all right?"

Richard breathed a sigh of relief when Edward came to his aid.

"You're late."

Edward rolled his eyes. "At least I'm not too late."

"Do you have a plan?"

"Survive."

Just as Edward answered his question, the two set up fire defenses to withstand the wind attacks that continuously attacked them.

"Until... when do we have to hold on?" Richard asked with difficulty, as he had to use his nerves and energy to keep the fire afloat.

Instead of answering him, Edward let go of his flames and then breathed large flares out of his mouth. They used this opportunity to hide while the white knight, who had not expected the sudden attack, was busy putting out the flames around him.

"He will soon find out where we are."

"I know. But why did he attack you? "

"How could I know? Now, more importantly, how do we get out of here? "

Edward realized that Richard was holding his chest in pain. "Are you hurt?"

Edward stood in front of Richard, who was still seated enduring the pain, and from all over Edward's build, a massive fire broke out.

Richard glared at Edward's change in form. He never knew Edward could do something like that.

Edward jumped from where he was standing and moved with incredible speed towards the Gale knight. They both collided with each other with their respective energy elements. He managed to get the white knight away from Richard.

Even so, he wasn't sure how long he would last. He was sure Scarlet had realized that he was in trouble by now. He only hoped that reinforcements would arrive in time before he was defeated.

But of course, that was only his wish. Even though he got some of Scarlet's energy and fused it with his own, he still couldn't fight against the Gale knight.

The wind blade waved away very quickly while Richard focused his energies on releasing the fire so that he could hold the edge of the blade.

On the other side, where Xiao Hua laid unconscious in an icy bed, Muyun approached her with a joyful heart.

Everyone in this world had stopped move except for the wizards and Niken. Unfortunately, Niken was fast asleep inside the train, so she didn't realize the frozen time.

Skylar's blade stopped exactly two centimeters in front of Richard's heart while the flames from his hands began to appear and followed upwards to block the blade.
