24 The Days without Mother

Bai Yuyue woke up first in the morning and tag her twin brother awake with a punch in the stomach. She then runs to the Peak Master's office to wake him up with another punch but this time on the eye, waking Hou Lin Zi up with a scream.

"Yuyue! You... You rascal come back here!" Hou Lin Zi angerly shouted out from his sleep.

Bai Yuyue ran back to where Bai Yihou, who is brushing his teeth, smiling angelically.

Jiahou lent on the door thinking while crossing his arm, "This always bothers me but you two are twins right?"

They both swirl their heads toward the door entrance then look at each other blinking. Bai Yuyue smile proudly and Bai Yihou just shrugs, letting his sister do the explaining. "Do we look the same."

Jiahou stares at the both of them intensely, he shakes his head but then nodded his head again, shake, nodded, and repeat.

Bai Yuyue was laughing at his hilarious actions. She cleared her throat and grab onto Yihou while explaining, she was grinning innocently, "Yep, we are twins but fraternal twins, not identical twins. Sorry to pop your bubbles!" While sticking her tongue out cutely.

"You are a cutie pie and a troublemaker." Jiahou pinches one of Bai Yuyue's cheeks, making her white cheek puff out.

Bai Yihou seeing his sister uncomfortable expression swap Jiahou's hand away. "Why is mister here. Mister isn't a Spirit Peak student right."

Jiahou side-glance at his throbbing hand and up at the boy. He knows that the boy wasn't asking a question. He was stating the obvious just like a certain someone that he knows. "HHaahaa. Boy did you know you are just like someone I know. He is also here in Spirit Fusion Peak. But..."

"Don't beat around the bushes."

"...Right. Right. Your no fun at all. I'm here cause I just transferred in. We have known each other for a while now. So what are your names."

Bai Yuyue was touching her swollen cheek. "Bai Yuyue!" She said angerly.

"Bai Yihou."

"I see. I'm Jiahou. We'll see each other around more," he said grinning as he walks away.

"Mama has been gone for a while now... She might have already reach Hu De already right Xiao Hou?" Bai Yihou leaned her neck on her brother's shoulder while swaying her legs.

"Yeah. Maybe mother has already. The only thing we can do is get stronger and wait for mother." Bai Yihou said sitting still and letting his sister do what she wants.

If others see this scene of them, they would think that Bai Yiyue and Bai Yihou are really a cute lovely young couple and not siblings.

Bai Yihou and Yuyue resumed their daily life in Spirit Fusion Peak which consists of only playing and exploring.

The first three weeks while Bai Yuan was gone they were so excited to explore the place that the Warrior and the Beast Sect can't see freely. They both were amazed at everything they see. From a lava room to an ice room, from training grounds to meditation rooms. It was fascinating seeing things that they haven't experience. Even Lohan is impressed by the enormous amount of spiritual energy that he didn't keep hidden and roam the peak with them.

The first time Lohan came out off hiding there Rong Sia and Hou Lin Zi question the two twins for a whole day. That didn't end though since Hou Lin Zi also lecture them for three hours and have them set kneeling in his office occupying him. However, Lohan didn't get out scout free either, Rong Sia really likes small and loveable animals that she didn't let Lohan escape her gasp for three whole days.

Lohan was having headaches from this annoying girl so he went on his own to see what Spirit Peak is really about. He has explored some places with the two twins so he just explores what he hasn't. After sightseeing for a while he found a place to his liking, he found a cave in his location and set his house there not moving from that one place. The place he chooses has a lake that stretches for about 2 meters. The tree is greenish and lavish from the enormous spiritual energy and there was no disturbance anywhere. Lohan was becoming to like this place more and more until the two little devils came disturbing him from time to time.

"Lohan! If you kept staying here how would you protect us as mama instructed you?" Ah' Yue pointed her finger at Lohan.

Lohan who wasn't in his small form anymore look down at Bai Yiyue who is pointing finger at him pointlessly then at Bai Yihou who was crouching down fiddling with the grass around him. He still doesn't understand how these two twins work at all! Shouldn't twins have some sort of connection but they don't seem to have that connection... maybe they do?

"Are you two lovers?" Lohan spat out his inner thoughts and regretted it in a second.

The both of them were dumbfounded. Bai Yihou was the first to come back to his senses, "Answer Ah' Yue's question."

"...Xiao Hou is really acting like the big brother he should be. I don't have to protect you two in here. But out there I will have too. Does this answer your question." Lohan gaze shifted towards the end of Spirit Peak and back to Bia Yihou. Bai Yihou thought for a bit and nodded his head once coming to a compromise with Lohan's answer.

"Nah! Lohan what are lovers?!" Bai Yiyue questioned Lohan with her shining innocent looking eyes.

Lohan was almost spurting up blood from hearing Ah' Yue's next question. He thought that Ah' Yue would already know what lovers are by wanting her mother, Bai Yuan and that half mask man getting together. "Isn't that what you wanted from Bai Yuan and the masked man, having a physical relationship."

"'Physical'? No. No. Ah' Yue only want that handsome man to be Ah' Yue's father!" She answered honestly and bashfully. "...Lovers do naughty things together right? Lohan should have done it already right!"

Lohan wants to cry but has no tears. He has never had a girlfriend all his whole life as a spiritual beast. He only lightly nodded his head then violently shake his head with a blush on his ears. He quickly turns tail and ran away far from the two.

"If Lohan won't tell Ah' Yue, Ah' Yue have her own resources to find what they (naughty things) are? Xiao Hou let's run to ask the Peak Master!" She picks up her speed and race towards Hou Lin Zi's place with her uninterested brother.

Hearing Bai Yiyue's words, Lohan suddenly has a thought--If Bai Yuan knew about her children learning indecent things when they are so young... She'll definitely skin him alive first before moving on...

Just the thought of Bai Yuan's anger, evil smiling face with a sword in hand ready to skin him, makes him want to pee his pants... sad things is he doesn't have pants. Lohan came back to where they were before but the two were already gone. The only thing he can see from his spot is two little dots getting further away. He can only try his best to reach them before something bad really happens.
