18 Mission with the Most Handsomest Man Part I

Rong Sia knocks on the wooden door three times before opening the door and entering. She directed everyone to enter after her. She said to the man before them, "Peak master I have brought them here."

Hou Lin Zi dropped the document in his hand and look up. He answers, "Rong Sia, you are supposed to call me just Master or Dean!"

"Instead of saying shifu, I called you Peak Master which should be good enough. And why do we need to call you Dean?"

"The answer is obvious! The money for our food, equipment, etc. comes from me. That bastard who you guys call headmaster even isn't helping. He's just adding more work to me."

"The old headmaster again?"

Tang Qing Jue is the real Headmaster of Moun Quiji. He could be said to be a very strong person, stronger than the male and female lead combined. Tang Qing Jue is a spirit master and a martial artist. He and Hou Lin Zi have a long history together. To start they have a relationship of a master and student. Tang Qing Jue is one of the very few who shows a promising talent for spirit fusion. Hou Lin Zi teaches him methods of cultivation that work for both kinds. After a few hundred years Tang Qing Jue rose to the rank of Headmaster of Mount Quiji. However, he didn't show any respect towards Hou Lin Zi after becoming headmaster instead he give more trouble to Hou Lin Zi.

Sometime Hou Lin Zi wonder why he took this ungrateful child as his student. After catching the eyes of the old headmaster, the old headmaster took custody of him to train him to become his successor so Hou Lin Zi never saw him again. When he became headmaster and Hou Lin Zi saw him once again, he was surprised by how a sweet child could turn out to be a cold-hearted handsome young man. Everywhere Hou Lin Zi went with Tang Qing Jue in the two sects, the woman masters stare loving glances at them while the man would praise Tang Qing Jue to the sky. This always makes Hou Lin Zi who used to be an otaku uncomfortable so he stops meeting Tang Qing Jue after his one time with him. After their first meeting and Hou Lin Zi only coming to the two sects if there are important meetings, he didn't know what happened but Tang Qing Jue replace himself with someone else. That someone resumes the role of headmaster of Mount Quiji and would convey messages to Tang Qing Jue regarding Mount Quiji.

Many many now know who the real headmaster is. The only ones who truly know are the master of Mount Quiji, their successors and some big sects around the world. The only exception is the Spirit Fusion Peak; because their Peak Master is always talking about how bad he is treated, everyone in the Spirit Fusion Peak knows that the headmaster is Tang Qing Jue. Even if they know, they don't do anything about it. Their master still shows affection towards the headmaster even if he badmouths him (TQJ), they still have the relationship of a master and student.

The novel didn't ratify who Ling Xia's master is but after hearing that Tang Qing Jue is his master, Hou Lin Zi can see the resemblance. How Ling Xia became so strong in the novel must be due to Tang Qing Jue's teaching and his (LX) talent. In the novel, Hou Lin Zi isn't Tang Qing Jue's master but he (TQJ) still became the Headmaster of Mount Quiji and have everyone fear him. Now that he has become this man's master, he (TQJ) must have leveled up more than ever before. Meaning that Ling Xia...

"Hahaahaa! I must be kidding myself," Hou Lin Zi try to laugh his thoughts off.

He handed a document to Rong Sia and Rong Sia knowing the meaning of his gesture told the two children and Ling Xia to follow her.

"Now then, why don't we get onto business, Bai Yuan, the first miss of the Bai Household," Hou Lin Zi said as soon as he senses that everything is clear and no one is listening on their conversation.

"Oh! So the Peak Master isn't stupid, rather your smart to get the hint."

"Of course, so what are you suppose to be. A transmigrator or reincarnator?"

Hou Lin Zi nodded his head impress by the second male lead. While he was nodding his head, a pair of clear eyes was staring at him without moving. He cleared his throat to say, "Is there something wrong little missy."

"The name is not little missy but Bai Yiyue. And there is something wrong indeed. Why are mother and the handsome guy going on a mission on their first day?" Bai Yiyue questioned while staring at him.

"Almost all the students of Spirit Fusion Peak aren't here, leaving behind Rong Sia. This mission needs two people and from the looks of things, the two of them will make the perfect combo for this mission. Don't you believe so?"

Yiyue thought about what the mission would be like. Although she is young, she had heard stories about two people being together, expressing good and evil together then start having feelings for each other. Those stories come from the villages near the Gorong Forest that they visit from time to time and help out. After thinking everything through, her small little face was lighting up bright. She gives Hou Lin Zi a thumbs up for coming up with this great idea.

Ling Xia and Bai Yuan follow Hou Lin Zi down a staircase towards a wooden door with a transparent barrier covering it. After dispelling the barrier and unlocking the door he enters the room. The room isn't a room but a cave. It was freezing cold and it the back of the cave there was a wooden ice cube sitting alone. Inside the ice cube, there is a girl who has blue sliver long straight hair. She was all alone but her face doesn't seem to have any displease, there was only the longing. Her skin was pale white that you can see her vines clearly. This must be due to the ice cube that encages her and never let her see the light of day.

"This person here is the client's daughter," Hou Lin Zi said at last. With a click of his finger, a piece of paper appears in his hand, "Read through this paper to know what the case is about."
