27 The one who loves you mos

Rick inhaled softly. The pixies guide her descent into the night. They blend into the wind, unseen, unheard. As if Zephyr [1] himself carry her.

She abandoned her thoughts. What else is to hold her back? All her life she had dreamed of exploring the world, to see the places she only get to read.

Rick love her brother, but him imprisoning her here she detest the most. Even if it is not his choice at all, like her impending engagement to Marco, she doesn't like being forced to do something.

Not Karl, nor Marco can force her to stay. Mich more the parents she had not known.

The love of her life is waiting. And she can hardly wait.

Cedric watched her descent as if from heaven. Too stunning for words. She is young and graceful and very beautiful tonight.

The moon shine on her skin, her gown reflects her eyes. The only missing thing, is her own white wings. He walk towards her slowly and stop a feet away.

He carefully placed back a hair misplaced due to her flying just now, he watch her catch her breath. Lost for words, he hugged her tight.

"Thank you for coming to me." It means so much to him that she believe him, that she trust him enough.

That all his hard work over the past fifteen years had earned him these. It has not been easy reaching her through her dreams. He had to advance his magic to be able to do this, and he forced his young body and mind into exhaustion to attain it. Determined to never let her go.

Alas, she is here. In his arms.

"Tell me I'm not dreaming." She whispered softly to him.

"Can you tell me the same?." He hugged her tighter.

She look up to him, into his eyes that burn like blue flames, finding security. Looking for certainty on the promises they made in her dreams. He answered her with a sweet passionate kiss.

Cedric had to remind himself that she is only fifteen to be able to pull himself away. In her dreams, he didn't need to do that as their time is always constrained.

When he was younger he could only manage to come in her mind on a limited time. When he was strong enough to stay longer, she is constantly being woken up forcefully.

A month ago he met her for the first time, but he can't stay least her brother detect his presence. He can never underestimate that guy.

But now, she is actually in his arms. Ready to be taken away.

"We must go..."

"Hmmn.." She buried her face in his chest. This feels too surreal.

Cedric stretched his right arm towards the sea. Something sparked into the night, and she saw a light holed into the dark. A portal opened. But she can't see what is on the other side.

Cedric look down on her face. An unspoken question is his eyes. Is she ready? She might not come back. Does she trust him?

She nodded gently. And he carried her princess style. She encircled her arms in his neck. And then he walked to the portal! He walks on water! Oh my God!

"Did you just--"

"Uh huh." He smiled at her.

"What are you?" She asked softly as they near the door to another world.

"Do you want to go back?" His voice hesitant. What if she change her mind? What if she's gotten scared? Ofcourse she doesn't know anything at all except there are pixies and goblins. Nothing was explained to her further.

"No." She really doesn't. She was just curious.

"I will tell you everything later. But for one, I am simply the man who loves you most."

Their faces inches away, they stared at each others eyes. Love and faith reflect in their eyes. And they kiss again as he step inside the portal. The light shattered instantly the moment they entered. It left a wave of electricity above the water it was in.

The moon glowed the brightest that night. As if giving its blessing to the lovers who disappeared below it. And also to the lovers in another realm, whose fusion of bodies continued until morning.

Unaware of the single soul who's been tortured as his beast has been finally released. He cried and roared loudly into the night, rebelling against the moon. He trashed everything around him, uncaring whatever its worth.

The man trapped inside the beast was too exhausted to reign control. He allowed the monster to take over. It run around everywhere until it rested above the cliff and howled towards the moon.

And then he saw it. A man carrying a girl stepping out of this realm in the middle of the sea. He stared at them unable to see their faces in the distance. However this shapeshifter's eyes zoomed in on the couple, and when he recognized her face they were already gone!
