67 The Kaos Experimen

Through one of the other portals, Bit found himself wandering through a virtual cyber space. There was data, and computer tech scattered all over the place.

Bit was glancing around to the odd data trails. "Either this area is buffering, or this level I ported into, is some computer program. Talk about lag." Bit groaned, proceeding ahead. He noticed some Kaos robots, among various strange data pixels. "Daezyrs. I-Techs... But what are those weird pixels? Some kind of glitch? Hope this doesn't crash my game."

Bit pulled to his saber, rushing into the swarm of robots. He was slashing his way through, destroying as many as he could, while progressing further into the main frame of the location. Some time passed, as Bit stepped over the destroyed foes, reaching what seemed to be the deepest corners of cyber space. It was darker, with less trails of data.

Bit entered the zone, looking around. He opened a virtual main frame, to show the map of the area. He was standing where the skull was marked on his map. "This should be the boss room... but..." He glanced up, and all around. "Is area still loading? Where's the cut-scene?"

Out of digital particles ahead of him, forms Glitch. His sharp eyes glare to Bit, as he floats downward in the air. "Haru, that's your name, right?" He inquires.

Bit gripped to the hilt of his sword. "Camping out I see... Jin? Do you actually remember me? I still want to know what's gotten into you."

"Yes, I do remember you. As for what's wrong with me. LOOK AT ME! They made me into this...You didn't fair any better..." Glitch states, crossing his arms.

Bit shrugs, his grip loosening on the hilt. His eyes trailed off. "... Kaos did change both of our classes... but." Bit's eyes returned to Glitch. "Jin. Why are you fighting for Kaos? You should be in the same guild as your friends. Me, Cravic. Come on. Don't make me fight you." Bit furrowed his brows. His tail was hanging to the ground.

"I can't disclose my details, as to why I'm doing what I am... Just know right now, I am your enemy. So, stop being a baby." Glitch says, holding his hand upward. Purple digital platforms appear, and fly Bit's direction quickly.

Bit jumped out of the way of the platform, looking to Glitch with a concerned expression. "Jin. There has to be some other way around this. A hack or something. Come on..."

Glitch grunts, and forms copies of himself. "I'm going to give you an option here....You can keep barking at me, about joining sides,or take the exit out of this place... Note, if you try forcing me. I'll be happy to recycle you." He says, as his copies begin to smile.

A digital doorway opens on the other side of the room.

Bit glances to doorway. "Are you trolling me right now?" He seemed unsure, as he looked back to Glitch.

Glitch sighs, as the digital floor disappears from under Bit. He falls onto a purple digital platform. "You're wasting pixels... Soon you'll just be deleted." Glitch stated.

"So then... You don't want me to game over?" Bit got to his feet, jumping over to the remaining flooring near the exit. He glanced back to Glitch. "..."

"..." Glitch turns away from Bit, as the platform Bit stood on launches him through the door. He turns back forming away his copies. "Urgh... Persistent kid..."

The scene panned, showing a snowy mountain terrain. Barret was walking ahead of Katinka, who was shivering slightly.

"Hey dofus, what the heck was that about? Look, there's no way back from here. Now we're trapped in this stupid snow!" Katinka complained.

"Urgh, you sound like Issac. Hopefully we won't have to be here too long... I see a cave entrance ahead. It should be warmer inside." Barret explained, taking Katinka by the hand.

Katinka sighed, keeping up with Barret.

"Huh?" Barret gasps, stopping quickly.

He spots a robotic white rabbit, hopping in the snow. It stops, turning to the two of them, tipping it's ears in their direction.

Katinka gawked to it, holding to Barret's arm. "Uh... That's a Kaos robot, right?"

"Yes, a very dangerous robot that explodes... Stay close to me."Barret says, tugging Katinka with him quickly.

"Don't be reckless, alright." Katinka keeps close to him, her eyes watching the robot.

More mechanical rabbits hop out of the snow around them, which set their sights on the duo. One begins to flash, and explodes setting off a chain reaction. Barret and Katinka quickly rush to the entrance of the cave. When they enter, they are greeted with many hanging dolls, of various people. There was a destroyed doll of Kirb laying on the floor in pieces, while other people they knew hung from the strings.

"Oh no... Wait, is that Kirb? Asuna? Okay, things have just gotten even creepier." Barret says, looking around.

Katinka glanced to the dolls, "They're just stupid dolls, what's gotten into you? Why are you so scared?"

Barret turns his head to Katinka, with a fearful expression, "These dolls resemble people we know. HOW CAN THAT NOT BE CREEPY!?" He asked, becoming even more frightful. "Besides, for all we know, they could be voodoo dolls! Urgh, just the fact they're dolls. I MEAN LOOK AT THOSE LIFELESS EYES!" He exclaimed.

Katinka looked up to Barret, snickering slightly. "I had no idea you were so afraid of something as stupid as a doll." She grabbed his scarf, pulling him forward with her into the frozen cave. "I swear, you make me look like the man of this relationship."

"B-But!" Barret states, pointing around to the dolls.

"They really should change the term 'fight like a man' to 'fight like a girl'." She jested.

As the two travel down the corridors of the cave, they could hear the echo of a little girl singing. Candles were also starting to line the cave walls, as darkness was becoming far thicker around them. "Ring-a-round the rosie... A pocket full of posies.... Ashes!... Ashes!... We all fall down..." Echoed in the cavern slowly.

"EEEEEK!" Barret shivers, "Do you hear that? Tha-that's her... I know it..."

Katinka pulled his scarf, to get Barret's face to her level. "You get scared way too easy, dork." She teased.

Suddenly, their vision starts to become dark, as a loud static noise is heard around them. Their visions clears, and blocking their path were many Freeze Terrors.

Barret points to them, shakily."Uhh Tink? Heh..ha ha...!" Barret whimpered.

"Huh? What is it?" She glanced back, but she grew a bit hesitant. "O-Okay... That's a little creepy..."

Barret grabs Katinka's hand, pulling her with him, as the two high tail it deeper into the cave. After trekking through darkness for a time, they reached a lit area, that held a throne room. Barret slips on some ice, falling back to the ground, accidentally pulling Katinka on top of him.

"Urgh.... Ouch... S-Sorry Tink..." Barret says, as he noticed their location, "Huh? Did we just step into a castle?"

Katinka sat up, still partially on Barret. She looked around. "I don't think castles would have a frozen floor like this though. This is pretty weird." She mentioned.

"You're telling me..." Barret says, leaning up off the floor. "Man, it's one thing after another in this place... Dolls, darkness, creepy singing... Ghosts..." He says, slowly hugging to Katinka, shuddering.

Katinka patted his shoulder. "You're pretty cute when you're scared like this." She laughed, her eyes looking around. "This place though... It doesn't add up."

"Because it's my domain...heh he he he..." Spoke a little girl's voice.

Barret gasps, "Dammit, I was right..." He stated fearfully, scrambling to his feet. Katinka got up as well, looking around.

Glacetra drops from the ceiling, landing in her throne, she crosses her legs, placing one over the arm rest. "Hows it going Blondie? I see you brought an extra playmate." She says, in a creepy manner.

"...Wait, if you're here, that would mean... Oh Joan..." Barret says, placing a hand to his head.

Katinka looked to Glacetra, then to Barret. "Assuming she's one of those Dama units?" She inquired, her wires sparking up.

"Yeah, you can say we had a run in around Hope Isle... Not the best memories... Right now though... urgh... Really wish we had a Dream Tear..." Barret explained, nervously.

Glacetra leans forward, smiling cunningly."What are you talking about? A Dream Tear? If that's some kind of escape, then too bad. You're stuck here, not leaving. You may have escaped me last time, but this time THERE'S NO ESCAPE!" She says, standing to her feet, forming her icy sword. She then lets out uncontrollable laughter. "Eheeeheeee!!

Cold air flies through the room, rapidly kicking around the hanging dolls, and toys in the area.

"She's deluded, not to mention has a screw loose. Maybe I can shock some sense into her." Katinka seemed annoyed, her limiter wires sparking with electricity.

Barret was shaken a bit, and looks to Katinka, "You're right, ice versus electricity...We should be able to do this.." He says, engaging his power glove.

"Two on one... Heh, don't forget Blondie, I got a big doggy..." Glacetra says, as she hops into the air. Instantly appearing out of a icy mist, was her wolf, Snowy.

"Oh...Uh..I forgot about that..." Barret says, forming a sweat drop.

Katinka stances herself. "Size isn't everything." She stated, rushing ahead of Barret with lighting at ready.

Barret was stunned, but proceeds after Katinka. Katinka swings her wires, smashing into the side of Snowy's leg. It instantly crumbles into snow, causing Glacetra to fall off the top of the gigantic wolf. Barret swings his sword, slashing Glacetra backward. He then goes for another strike, but misses as Glacetra jumps over him. Katinka catches sight of her, and swings her wires to some debris from Snowy. She then proceeds to toss it in Glacetra's direction, who cuts through the icy rocks.

"You're getting annoying lemon and lime!" Glacetra snaps, dashing back at the two of them quickly.

She swings her sword missing Katinka, who trips Glacetra with one of her wires. The unit falls to the ground face first.

"Urgh...You're both CHEATING!!!! Picking on me like this! WHY DON'T YOU ACT LIKE A DOLL, AND DROP DEAD!!!" Glacetra yelled, jumping up from the ground. She turns to them with a chaotic expression, tilting her head eerily. "That way I'll be able to USE YOUR SKIN! Don't worry, I'll make sure when you become a unit, that the latex they use on you, is almost as natural looking as authentic flesh. HEHHEHEHEHEHE!" She laughs wildly.

Barret shakes his head, "We gotta end this now..." He says, stepping back fearfully.

"Leave her to me." Katinka rushes again at Glacetra. She uses her wires to grip Glace's ponytails, before spinning the unit around in circles. She shocks up her wires, right as Glace's feet leave the icy floor.

"Waaaahhhh!!!!!" Glacetra yells, as she was being swung.

Katinka then releases her grip, letting Glacetra go flying into into a wall, harshly. One of Glacetra's eyes pop out of her head, as she fell back to the ground, her armor was damaged, as well as her face also shattered in places like a porcelain doll, pieces falling to the icy floor.

"My...My...Face, my body...y-y-you..." Glacetra's speech was becoming slurred, as she sparked around. "Dolly- YOU! - Did..Ha ha ha..." She says, trying to get back to her feet.

A voice comes over the area, "Initiating unit recall system." Glacetra is then teleported out of the location.

Barret falls back to his rear. "...Wow...Good job Tink.."

Katinka walked over to Barret. She crouched down to his level, looking to him. "You okay?"

"Y-Yeah just getting back my barrings..." He says, getting back to his feet. "Let's go..."

The scene transitioned, to what seemed to be an elevator in a building. Issac and Yuji were inside it, as they looked around the small box.

"An elevator? What gives?" Issac seemed perplexed.

Yuji shrugs, "Who knows, could be a scene for a bad horror flick, we should keep ourselves ready."

A radio feed clicked on in the elevator. "Ladies and Gentlemen! It seems the special guests have arrived!"

"What the heck?" Yuji states scratching his head.

"Bryce." Issac muttered, his eyes looking up to the security camera in the elevator.

"Oh not you, of all people. Well, I guess that brings us to the next part of the show!" The voice of Shinz shouts, as the elevator suddenly stops. "TRIVIA TIME! CAN YOU COMPLETE THIS QUOTE, BEFORE THIS ELEVATOR DROPS TO YOUR DOOM?"

Yuji turns pale, grabbing to Issac quickly. "Whoa,whoa,whoa! I never signed up for this scene!"

Issac raised a brow to the feed. "Chill out Yuji. I'm sure one of us has to know the quote." Issac stated, confidently.

"Alright then, here's the quote. 'But, soft! What light through _____.' Fill in the blank before the time runs out! You have ten seconds." The voice of Shinz explained.

Yuji grabs his head. "I-I DON'T KNOW THIS ONE! Oh shoot, we're goners!"

Issac suddenly laughed out of no where. "Oh man, this is TOO easy." He smirked, "But, soft! What light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the sun! Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon; who is already sick and pale with grief, that though her maid are far more fair then she."

A sound of success fills the elevator, as the voice of Shinz popped back in. "Ohhhh we have a Shakespeare aficionado here folks! Granted YOU WOULD get that answer, wouldn't you? I'll be waiting above! Also don't forget! This is reality television! So, watch your footing, things are going to get crazy!" He stated, in annoyed sarcasm.

The elevator begins to move again, as Yuji let's out a sigh of relief, "Issac, dude. I'm SO happy you knew the answer to that! You're like a walking Shakespeare encyclopedia!"

Issac pocketed his hands, grinning slightly. "And I was always told, that memorizing all the quotes to his novels, was a waste of time."

The elevator comes to a halt, as the doors open. Some Kaos robots rush their direction. Issac and Yuji prepare to strike. Yuji freezes some of the Jumpers, as Issac slashes through them. As they explode, Yuji warps some of the effects, and debris around other incoming robots, blowing them up.

The voice of Shinz then pops through speakers around the area "You're destroying all my security! My ratings are going to plummet!"

"Trust me bud, there will be more than ratings to worry about, when we get there!" Yuji says rushing ahead with Issac. They reach floating steps, leading out of the building, to a hovering radio station. Yuji steps backward, fearfully. "No way am I jumping out there, that's why I hired stunt doubles."

Issac looked to the steps, placing a foot on one. "It seems sturdy enough. As long as we stay on these platforms, we should be fine." He stated, looking to the tower on the floating island.

"Uh...Well okay..." Yuji states, following after Issac.

As they make they're way across the platforms, I-Techs teleport in around them. They begin to shoot off lasers in the direction of the duo.

Yuji freaks out, nearly loosing his footing. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!?" He screamed.

"Careful, alright." Issac activates his power glove, forming the cross-bow. He aimed to the I-Techs, firing off shots at their eyes.

He manages to strike an I-Tech, which explodes, this causes even more to start teleporting in alarming numbers.

Yuji screams,"IT'S NOT WORKING!"

"Let's just book it then!" Issac urged Yuji along, as they rushed up the steps.

"I HAVE SHORT LEGS! Wait up!" Yuji cried, after Issac.

They finally make it the entrance of the floating station. As the door opens, they're met with the clapping of an audience. Issac and Yuji by this time were catching their breath.

"Urgh... Next time... You carry me." Yuji says, shifting himself up.

Issac looked up to the audience, and around the area. He grew very quiet. "..."

Yuji also now spotted the audience,"Jeez, they're just throwing us into this, aren't they?"

"CONGRATS! YOU'VE MADE IT THE FINAL CHALLENGE!" Shinz's voice called, from on stage.

They looked over to the stage, where Shinz Wave stood, receiving a grand applause.The spot light hovering over Shinz, panned over to them.

Shinz adjusts his top hat, looking over to the two, a wide smile on his face, "ISSAC LUNDELL! YUJI WYVERN! COME ON DOWN!"

Issac and Yuji are suddenly warped to the stage, restraints appear around their wrists, just above where the power glove on Issac's hand was. They were forced into seat, holding them tightly. Shinz then proceeds over to them, waving his cane microphone around. "This is the GAME ROOM! The area where most contestants either win it all, OR LOOSE EVERYTHING!" Shinz says, smacking Issac upside his head. "I think you'll know a thing or two about nearly loosing everything... Hint hint, wink wink."

Issac leered at Shinz. "I'll never get over how bad Kaos messed you up."

Shinz laughs. "Kaos...Oh something about that. There's much more going on here, than meets the eye. Speaking of eyes, that tragic event with the Zodiac back there, was quite an tear jerker. Wouldn't you say Yuji?"

Yuji growls, "S-Shut up!" He spat at Shinz.

"Leave him alone." Issac snapped.

Shinz turns back to Issac. "Now why would I listen to someone, who honestly is null to sadness...Thinking...I have a great idea!" Shinz looks to the audience. "What do you say folks? Should we try out misery hour on the dwarf?"

The audience begins to cheer loudly.

Yuji was shaking, "What's this misery stuff? Let us go!" He demanded.

Shinz looks to Yuji, undoing his straps. He aims his microphone at Yuji shooting off a blue sound wave. When Yuji is hit he falls backward, instantly his mind is flooded with memories of Asuna. "Urgh...W-What?" Yuji states, shakily.

"How are you feeling?" Shinz asks to Yuji keeping his sadistic smile.

"I feel...Worthless..." Yuji answered.

Issac's eyes were focusing to Yuji. "(Crap, this is bad..)" Issac's worried expression, turned to Shinz, growing angry. "Bryce! STOP IT! You're fight's with me!!"

Shinz turns to Issac, slightly. "Please keep your voice down, I don't want to have to call security. Besides, the audience is eating this up! THE DRAMA, THE EMOTION, THE SUSPENSE!"

Yuji could see Asuna standing before him. "Asuna... I can see you..."

Shinz turns to Yuji quickly, hearing his statement, "Do you see her? Do you see the one who left you behind? She's calling for you...But you're stuck, between the blue world and Stykx. With only so many ways to get there...What do you want to do? Where do you go from here?"

"...I want to be with Asuna... I don't want to live anymore..." Yuji says, looking to the floor.

Issac tried to move from his seat, but the restraints prevented him from getting up. "Yuji! Snap out of this! Come on! Don't let him control your emotions! You want revenge, don't you!?"

Yuji turns to Issac, as a virtual hologram of Asuna appeared before him. She moves in to kiss him, but right before she does, she fades off into nothing. Yuji's eyes widen, as his heart begins to race. "Uh...Urgh! Why did they take you away from me?" Yuji begins to cry, streams of tears flooding his face.

"You know what you have to do..." Shinz says, placing his arm over Yuji's shoulder. He then looks to Issac, "Pretty tragic though, isn't this? Why not help the lad out! He's begging for that attention again."

"Knock it off!" Issac demanded. "You're hurting him!"

"Yet you wanted to kill yourself. What makes his actions any different? You even gave him that right! Talk about being a hypocrite!" Shinz states, as the audience laughs behind him.

Issac was sneering. "You're forcing Yuji to feel this way. This isn't a choice, this is torture!"

"My friend, THIS IS REALITY TELEVISION! All feelings displayed are pure raw emotion... I'm just helping boost them. It's like my ratings! Ha ha ha!!" Shinz mocked.

"If that's so true, then why doesn't your emotion waves work on me? Huh? You're nothing, but a manipulator!" Issac flared his teeth.

"I'm sorry you don't carry emotions, but that's not my problem. Some of us just know how to act. As your friend there... Hard to believe he was going to have you in his movies, of all things." Shinz states, as the audience claps.

"You know how stupid you sound right now!? You don't know SHIT! LET HIM GO!" Issac demanded.

"Is this your audition? You'll have to wait until we're done." Shinz says, looking back to Yuji, "If you are set on your choice, you have the tools to help you on your journey."

Yuji was still looking to the floor, "..."

"Oh assistant!" Shinz called out, as a woman with a cart runs out to the stage with tools. Shinz turned to Yuji, who his arm was still around. "Well now, look at all those options! Don't they just look fantastic!? Which one shall you use to end your miserable life?"

Yuji walks to the tray, he looks at all the choices. As he reaches for the gun, Shinz steps forward a little. "The gun....That's a fast exit there. Pain may only last, but a mere moment. You have endured a lot of pain, this could be an easy ticket."

Yuji then looks to a knife. "..."

Issac was struggling in his bindings. "SNAP OUT OF IT!"

"Heh, the knife...Oh HOW ROMANTIC THAT IS! It will hurt, but it gets the job done. While awaiting your death, you can remember all the great things in life, before... Ultimately crossing over into the great blue..." Shinz explained.

Yuji picks up the knife. He takes it with both of his hands, holding it into the air, angled at his chest. The audience gasps.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! HE'S MADE A CHOICE! YUJI! IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO END YOUR MISERY!" Shinz exclaim, as the audience applaud.

"DON'T DO IT!!! YUJI!!" Issac screamed.

The audience watched with suspense in their eyes.

A single tear falls down Yuji's face. "I'm coming Asuna..." He says, smiling. Yuji stabs himself through his heart. His eyes widen, as he instantly falls to his knees. Blood was trailing from his chest, before his body fell forward.

"......." Issac was staring frantically, his eyes shaking. "(....Yuji.... Oh... shit...)"

The audience finally started to applaud loudly, chanting the name "END YOUR MISERY!"

Shinz swings his microphone to Yuji's body. "Well, seeing he's taken himself out of the game. We should give him a proper send off! What do you say folks!?" Shinz asked.

They all begin to chant "ACID! ACID!" the audience shouted.

Shinz holds the microphone back to his mouth, "You guys really don't waste any time! The acid pool, it is!" He claps his hands, as some guards walk over to Yuji, picking up his body. The floor opens to a tank of acid. "Alright guys, be gentle now, he hasn't really started the stage of Rigor mortis yet."

The workers nod, as they toss Yuji's body into the pool of acid. Instantly Yuji's body begins to sizzle around, as his skin begins to melt, his blood starts to mix with the green liquids, as his clothes also burn off. Soon enough his skin was completely gone, but his bones were turning black, soon disintegrating into nothing.

"Woooweee!! Now that's what I call uncensored television. Alas poor Yuji, I knew him well." Shinz says, holding his hand to his chest, as the audience adds in their laughter.

Issac was shaking, staring in horror. He looked infuriated, his eyes panning angrily to Shinz. "..."

Shinz looks to Issac. "So, that leaves only ONE contestant... How are you feeling? You've gotten this far into the game. I think you deserve a little time to let off some steam. What do you think folks?" He asked, as he raised his microphone to them.

They chant, loudly in their seats. "Fury Time! Fury Time!"

Shinz shrugs, " Well, considering you're no good with emotions, I don't think the waves are appropriate here... I'll just let you free, and we can settle this like gentleman." Shinz says, opening one strap on Issac's wrist.

It happened to be his right wrist, leaving Shinz unexpecting, as Issac quickly engages his power glove. He forms the sword, slicing open the second confine. Without warning, he lunged at Shinz, pinning him to the ground, with his saber to his throat. "You REALLY are stupid. I WAS GOING TO SAVE YOU! NOW LOOK!... You just killed an innocent man, for you own TWISTED FANTASIES!... You make me SICK!! Give me one reason why I shouldn't give you the same FREAK'N treatment!?" Issac shouted, completely enraged.

The audience gasped.

"Are you done? You certainly have no clue of where you stand on this matter. I was once alive, have you forgotten? This is the real world, sometimes... People want to see the carnage..." Shinz's eyes widen madly. "BUT SEEING YOU'RE GETTING INTO THE PART! I SHOULDN'T HOLD BACK ANYMORE! LET'S GIVE THEM A SHOW!" Shinz says, warping out of Issac's grasps.

Issac gets to his feet, turning to Shinz. "..."

The audience stares intensely, as Issac rushes Shinz, knocking him backward. Shinz tumbles, and teleports away from Issac, he then appears whacking Issac with his microphone, hitting him forward. Shinz summons some freeze-heat terrors, jumpers, and other Kaos units. Without delay, Issac forms his whip, and swings it at the freeze terrors, wrapping around them. He then swings them at Shinz.

Shinz who at this time was overlooking the battle, was taken off guard, by the flying unit. It crashes into him, knocking him onto the floor. The heat terrors soon follow after, blowing up, as they crash into Shinz along the stage. Shinz grips himself up, but is knocked back down by a flying Jumper. Issac rushes Shinz, jumping into the air, and stabs right through his right arm. This causes Shinz to grit his teeth, the audience gasps.

"Urgh...Hey, you... Got a little... too physical there..." Shinz stated squinting. "C-Can we just start over? I can m-make a replica! Things will be fine!"

"No way in Stykx, you sick BASTARD!!!" Issac yelled, out of rage was preparing to stab Shinz through the head, as he raises his sword.

Right before he can make the move, a voice clicks on over the radios. "Initiating unit recall system." Shinz is then teleported out of the location, right as the saber stabbed into the floor.

"BOOOOOOOOO!" The crowed chanted.

Back in the room, where the four portals stood. Issac appears on his panel, still on edge. Barret and Katinka appeared from their portal, and Bit had returned as well. The last portal however changed to red.

"...." Issac was gripping his fist.

Katinka looked to the others, however. "Is everyone here?..." Her eyes catch the remaining panel. "Huh?... Why is it red like that?" She seemed uneasy. "Did something happen to sensei and Kirb?"

Barret looks to the panel as well. "...Huh? Good question..." He answers, walking over to it, and he tries to step through, but the gate was shut off. "Something's wrong here..." Barret then looks to Issac."Issac? Wait, where's Yuji?"

"..." Issac looked off, his body relaxing a bit. He still seemed under stress however. "He's gone..."

"Like AFK?" Bit looked over, tilting his head.

Issac shook his head, solemnly. "No. Like... he's dead..." He was shaken by this still.

Barret sighs to himself. "I'm sorry...This is my fault, if didn't freak out and-"

A monitor appears before them, with Kaos over the screen. "Hello again, it would seem you have returned, well, some of you. Considering you only needed to defeat one of my Dama Units, to open the gate. You took it upon yourselves to play 'know it all'. Though I can see the one who caused such actions, is just that."

Barret was shaken. "What?...."

They noticed that the gates were now unlocked, but Issac looked to the screen, angrily. "YOU SON OF A!!" Issac screamed.

"Okay, that's enough boy. If you wish to quench your rage, by all means, step through that door...We'll all be waiting for you. No strings here." Kaos states.

Barret then shoots through the screen, as glass shatters from the impact. He then turns to Issac. "Hey, we lost three people... After everything that's happened... Urgh..." He was at a loss for words. "It's up to you...I'm done being stupid...You were right.... I lost myself..."

Katinka places her hand to Barret's arm. "..." Her eyes trail back to the red portal.

Bit appeared next to the others, looking to the door. He seemed unsure too. Issac glanced to the path ahead. "We need to proceed with caution then. We can't afford to loose anyone else here." He stated, his tone solemn, as he proceeded to the door.

The others follow after him, trekking forward into a two story room. Before them was a circular area, with an observation station above. They reached the mid point of the room, looking around, as they kept on the defensive.

Kaos, and Sion enter from the top floor, looking down to the group. Kaos places his hand on the railing. "There you are, see? I told you. We now can have a face to face confrontation."

Sion fans herself. "Hmm yes... We would of had you fight the Elemental sisters next. However, they are still under development, as is that Usa girl we took in recently...Though, Issac... I'm going to give you a chance to live. Refuse thy friends and surrender thy heart."

Kaos turns to Sion quirking a brow. "..."

Issac scoffs a bit, his eyes to Sion. "You really think it's that easy? Think about it 'princess'. I chose my friends once before, so why would I change my decision now? Even so, that wasn't the right quote there. Besides that, I'm taken. So you can forget it."

Sion gasps. "B-But... I understand, though you can't place aside this organization. You left me, and found some other tramp to fill my place... I'm not one to talk about this... But Issac... I hope to see you made into something terrible. You're like all of the others..."

Kaos sighs. "Sion YOU MUST STAY PROFESSIONAL! Besides her rantings, it is time for you all to take a little trip."

Sion laughs, "Ohhh, I can't wait to see this. Take a long good look, this is the last face you ever see..."

A teleportation system activates, warping the group out of the area.
