66 Trespass into Kaos

At the K.A.O.S. facility headquarters, Sion was examining a drill type robot, that was going to be sent to a renovation location. "Hmm yes, it also deploys bombs, you say?" She inquired, looking to a worker.

"Yes ma'am, that's right." The worker states, keeping his attention to Sion.

Sion smiles, and looks to Sandra, who was standing nearby. "You'll be having to test this for us. I hope you weren't thinking anything otherwise."

Sandra crossed her arms, with a scoff. "Like you've got to be kidding me. You like want me to like, pilot this THING? Like, I'm so sure it's not even that tubular. I mean, like look at that. Does it even like, drill? What kind of drill like has bombs anyway? It's like so stupid, I'm like so sure. Next you're going to say it can be air borne, and spin like some ballerina. It's totally retarded."

"It DOES fly, and it shoots bombs to destroy things around it, that it can't break. Besides that, it saves us time with wrecking balls. Though, I wonder how a halfer can handle this." Sion states, laughing. "Just thinking about it, you rolling around in a drill, getting blown to bits by your own mistakes. Ho ho ho! Well, maybe not to pieces, but a little singed."

Sandra groaned, making a bitch face. "Like this totally like the most stupid contraption you're like putting me in. What's the point of a drill, when it can like blow things up? Not rad, just stupid. Totally. Like. I'm so sure." She scoffed.

"Oh bark all you want, but you're still not up the tree. Get yourself ready, it's going to be like falling onto a roller coaster." Sion states, holding a fan to her face.

"I'm like not sure what's worse, this stupid drill, or your stupid jokes. Barf me out, and gag me with a spoon." Sandra stuck out her tongue, in disgust.

Sion growls, catching Sandra around with strong mind energy. "What did you say to me?"

"Like whatever. Not my fault you didn't hear me." Sandra rolled her eyes, nervously.

Sion tosses Sandra onto the floor, "You forget, I have my mind as well. Ears aren't the only things I use to HEAR people wi-" Sion was soon interrupted by a worker, who rushed up beside her.

"Princess Sion! Code red! We have intruders on the premises! " The guard stated, nervously.

"WHAT!? How in Terraldyn? I swear..." Sion looks to a monitor, that was shut off. "TURN THAT ON! WE NEED TO SEE WHERE THEY ARE, YOU IDIOTS!"

A guard rushes, turning the monitor on, From a security feed, Issac was spotted, leading the others inside the front lobby. The entire force was fighting back Kaos robots, and foot soldiers with whatever they had at their disposal.

"(Issac... He's here... What do I do?)" Sion thought to herself, becoming nervous.

Sandra looked up, becoming surprised. "Barry?... He's like coming to rescue me?... Oh my gosh."

Sion then snaps back from her trance, she turns to Sandra quickly. "GET TO YOUR STATION NOW!! All others, prepare to engage the trespassers!" The guards quickly rush out to their stations, as Sion turns back to Sandra."WHAT ARE YOU STANDING AROUND FOR! GET MOVING!" Sion growls.

Sandra was staring at the monitor, but snaps from the daze to turn to Sion. She seemed a bit uneasy. "Like, uh... R-Right, like for sure." She hurried off to her station.

Sion groans, placing a hand to her head. Soon a beeping is heard from her communication device. She answers, holding the black radio to her mouth. "Yes, what is it?"

"SION! Hurry to the guiding systems, I need you to prepare the Dama Units." Kaos spoke, as static rushes over the silence.

"The Dama Units? What are you planning?" Sion asked to him, sounding uneasy.

"Testing of course. These brutes want to see the best we give out, why not give them a show? They'll be enjoying our hospitality..." Kaos says cutting connection.

Sion sighs to herself. "(Issac... It can't end this way. I'll save you.)"

A corridor from the main lobby of the Kaos facility, Issac was leading the others along against the security workers and robots.

"I know the layout of the building, so follow my lead!" Issac called to the others, using his whip function to lash back a conflicting foe ahead of his path.

Yuji quirks a brow, while avoiding some bullets. He then swings his tail, knocking away some guards. "Huh? How do you know that?!"

Issac jumps over a downed jumper, kicking a worker in the face, knocking them to the ground. He catches his footing, keeping his eyes set to the pathway. "Got the grand tour a while back. You can thank Princess Sion for that. Keep up." Issac explained, keeping his focus.

Yuji sighs, "Got ya. Damn, I must've had the right idea picking you for that role." Yuji says, rushing after Issac.

"Hey, he's not the only one that knows a little about this place!" Barret added, slashing away a Jumper.

A robotic dog came rushing at Barret, and Katinka flung it back with an electrical charge of her wires. It was smashed right into a wall, destroying it. "Careful dofus, that Cydorg nearly got you." She teased.

Barret laughs subtly. "Y-Yeah, thanks let's catch up to them." He says, rushing ahead with Katinka.

"Better move it then." Kirb was keeping up behind them, firing off shots at the wall of enemies ahead. "Bang!"

Bit was backing him up, using his data cubes to trap foes from the pathway."Sorry, restricted pathway NPCs! These guys better stop respawning! We got a boss to beat!" Bit jested, sticking out his tongue.

They continued onward, but the foes kept coming. Soldiers and robots alike, flooding into the halls from warp points. Denki then leapt over the group, getting ahead, beside Issac. He charged up his fists with lightning, before plowing hard into the aggressors. Denki spits to the side. "Ain't time to waste on these guys. Fuggedabout them." He instructed.

They all focused their eyes to a door ahead of them, that wasn't too far off. Even with the constant foes closing in. Issac took the lead, slashing back enemies as the group cleared the path, to the room before them. They were leaving a trail of bodies and scrap, as they made their way to the door. Upon reaching it, the tracks of the gate drew open. Issac and company hurried in, however the door behind them sealed.

Everyone was looking around, and spot a door ahead. Issac approached it, but it wouldn't budge. "Dammit. This one's locked."

"Ain't goin' back the way we came either." Denki crossed his arms.

Bit peered around. "It's like a game, pay attention to your surroundings. Then we can find a way to progress to the boss chamber."

As the group let their gaze observe the entirety of the chamber, they noticed four circular floor panels that appeared to be warp gates, two on either side of the boss entrance.

"Hmm, these four panels, a locked door...Hey, I may sound like Bit here, but our way out of this room, may be through those warp points." Barret explained, crossing his arms.

A digital monitor appears ahead of the group, on the screen was a feed of Kaos, sitting in his office. He adjusts his monocle, looking to them all sternly. "Congratulations. you've all reached the end of the line. You all look as if you are tired, you need something to calm that anger...Vengeance...Though it would seem the door to get such a result, is inaccessible. How do you solve such a complication?"

"Is that supposed to be some riddle?" Kirb grumbled, pointing his pistol to the screen, boredly.

Issac placed his hand to the pistol, making Kirb lower it. "Easy." He said, but turned his gaze back to Kaos. "You're basically suggesting we find some way to open it, with those teleporters. Right? This isn't some game, old man."

Kaos laughs, loudly. "A game you say? You've been but pieces on the chess board this entire time. Let me ask you this, boy. When you entered this facility two years ago, did it ever occur to you, that you entered the so 'game' you speak of? You've lost quite a lot of pawns, your next moves however, may prove critical to your survival."

"Judging from that statement, you've been watching our movement..." Barret questioned uneasily.

Kaos tilts his head downward, "Why yes, of course. Everything you've done, since the first time you entered this facility, has been recorded."

Issac gritted his teeth. "You've been monitoring us? Just like Espionage!?"

"You seem surprised. What else have we been doing all this time? We need results, and that comes from people we track, follow and capture... I'm amazed Nari of all people, hadn't bothered to show, but I guess I can understand. She wouldn't want to end up like her sister." Kaos smirked.

Yuji growls, "DON'T YOU TALK ABOUT ASUNA LIKE THAT! Besides... Urgh... Nari is my responsibility now, I owe that much to her."

"My,my you're really getting into your role...I can see why Kyro didn't care for you too much. We're wasting time here however. If you want to prove your worth, at defeating this organization. Then by all means, step through the warp gates. What lies beyond these four walls, are for you to discover." Kaos says, laughing as the feed fades from the air.

Everyone was left to pause for a moment.

Issac crossed his arms, looking to the warp points. "So, he wants us to open this door, using those gates. He never stated anything about what to do beyond that."

"I would suspect gathering items, or flipping switches. Generally within the realm of gaming, warp points take you through mazes, and you have puzzles to complete before departing back to the sealed door." Bit glanced over. "It's all strategy."

"I could be out of line here, but does anyone else think that he wants us to split up? I mean, there are four teleporters, and seven of us." Katinka adjusted her goggles.

"Hmm could be, but remember what Witchhazel told us... Splitting up... It could be really risky." Barret says, pondering to himself.

"Yeah, if I remember anything about that witch. We should pay attention." Yuji added.

"Witchhazel knows what's she's talking about." Issac peered over to Katinka.

"I know, I was only making an observation." Katinka shrugged.

Kirb glanced to the gates. "What if it's a choice thing though, and no warping back to this room? Ya'know, choosing the right one? What then?"

"Huge possibility, ain't it. We may need to make a choice here." Denki stated.

Issac scratched his head. "Dammit... This makes things way too complicated if that's the case..."

"...Without many options... Maybe we don't have a choice on the matter..." Barret says, turning to one of the portals.

"So, we just split up then? What if this is some trap?" Issac looked seriously to Barret.

Barret shakes his head, becoming angry. "I DON'T KNOW!..." He shouted to Issac.

Issac blew up his bangs, turning off. "Katinka. Control your boyfriend." He holds his head.

Katinka gawked, but looked to Barret in concern. "Barry?...."

Barret grabs to Katinka's arm, pulling her to his side. "We're going into that one..."

Yuji jumps. "Whoa Barret, calm down! We're all under stress here, I understand..."

"Yuji...You lost Asuna, we got to take these guys down... I have to rescue my sister... We're just... Wasting time... We already came to a plan.." Barret states, turning back to Yuji slightly.

"Plan? PLAN?! Barret, no offense, but we never decided on anything!" Issac snapped.

"Guys, guys! Chill out! We all just need to think things over carefully! We all want to take out the same enemy!" Yuji pleaded.

"Well..." Barret turns around, to Issac and the others, "So what's your plan...You got nothing? I thought so, come on Katinka." Barret says, pulling Katinka through the portal with him.

"Really? REALLY!?" Issac gawked, angrily. "You're gonna be a jerk now!? Of all times..."

"Ain't a bad call here. Rendezvous back to this room if we can. Kirb, you're comin' with me." Denki stated, walking to another portal.

Kirb followed after him. "Sure, I'm down." Kirb nodded.

"H-HEY! Is anyone even listening to me here!?" Issac's brow was twitching, as he called to them.

Kirb glanced back, "Sorry man, but splitting up is the best bet, in case there's no way back. Worse case scenario, we can still get that gate open. See ya on the flip side." He said, following Denki through the gate.

Bit warped over to one of the remaining floor panels. "Venturing into the unknown, guess I'm playing solo here. No time to find a player two. See you when I complete the level." Bit smiled, stepping in.

"BIT! URGH! What is wrong with everyone?!" Issac groaned, with a sigh.

Yuji sighs to himself, "Yeah I know, seems we're the only ones with working brains here." He scoffed, looking to the last portal.

Issac held his head, glancing to the last gateway. "Well, seems we don't have a choice now. Guess that leaves the last one to us. Just running after them isn't going to prove anything."

"Yeah... I suppose we'll have to see what script is set up for us in there." Yuji says, walking forward. He turns back to Issac, "You coming?"

Issac follows, adjusting his glove. "Just don't loose your head, alright? We don't know what to expect here." He says, as they reach the edge of the portal.

"Heh, after what I've been through, I think I can handle anything they throw at me." Yuji agrees, turning to Issac.

Issac glances over, with a smirk. "Let's get this over with." He said, as the two of them enter the warp gate.

Elsewhere. Denki and Kirb warped into a dark construction zone. It was raining heavily, as they began their trek forward.

"Interestin' choice for a warp destination. Wonder what waits us here." Denki muttered.

"No clue. I just shoot stuff." Kirb shrugged.

The two progressed ahead, in the location. The scene panned to a monitor, where Nyeyomi was overlooking the area's security feeds. She had a robotic arm, where the one she lost used to be.

"This may be a lamentable situation." She glances backwards, "Nari. You may want to consider checking the observation feed on the renovation territory." Nyeyomi called.

Nari at this time, was about to drink from her white coffee mug. She sets it on a nearby table, making her way over to Nyeyomi, quickly. "Huh? What is it?" She inquires, nearing the monitor.

Nyeyomi rolled her seat to the side, letting Nari gaze to the screen in front of her. The view on it showed Kirb and Denki progressing through the rubble, battling off mobile bomb launchers and other Kaos robots.

Nari's eyes widen, "Oh my gosh... I know I said... I've got to get over there!" She states frantically.

Nyeyomi shook her head, looking to the screen. "Don't be preposterous. You need to be pragmatic. Consider how much time would elapse to reach the location."

"We can use my GPS teleporter! It's a little finicky, but we can at least try!" Nari says, panic still in her voice.

"That device needs more work, it's far too cattywampus. We could arrive to any given location, and thus waste time, back tracking." Nyeyomi crossed her arms.

"We have to go! I need to make sure Kirb is okay... I left him...but ... Please Nyeyomi!!!" Nari begged.

Nyeyomi stood to her feet, grabbing Nari's shoulders. "I know you wish to alleviate the situation. However, you need to remain phlegmatic. We can take my car, just bare in mind, the arrival time may not be as soon as you desire."

"...R-Really? Thank you! THANK YOU!" Nari exclaims, hugging to Nyeyomi tightly.

Nyeyomi glances to the screen. "If we're doing this, we should make haste."

The scene shifted back to the construction area, Kirb kicked a downed jumper to the side. He was peering up to floating bullion boards. Denki was ahead of him, keeping firm.

"Maybe we picked a wrong portal or something." Kirb mentioned.

"Ain't no coincidence we're in one of of their sectors. Makes me wonder, just what was Kaos thinking, sending us to this location." Denki replied.

Footsteps are heard, coming from behind the duo."Just the two I got word about." Spoke a female voice.

Kirb and Denki glanced back, the Usa with his finger to the triggers of his guns. "Not so good with faces, but, I think I remember this broad." Kirb stated.

From the shadows emerges Bombodia, she smirks, adding in a playful purr. "I remember you now. I suppose the boss wants me to finish my job from before." She states, before turning her attention to Denki. "I even get to put in overtime."

"Seems we found our objective." Denki readied himself, keeping his eyes sharp.

"Guess so." Bombodia states, holding both of her hands up, forming two small bombs. They expand in her palms. "Well, I suppose we'll get started with the renovations. I don't want the boss man jumping down my throat about late delivery, or what's left of it."

Bombodia's boots ignite, shooting out fire, flying to the air, and she rushes at the two quickly. Denki and Kirb jump out of her way, as the bombs she held are tossed in their directions. Denki sparks up, blowing up a bomb as it flew at him. Kirb also shoots the bomb coming his direction. Bombodia by this point, was looking at the two of them from the air. "Quick..." She says, launching some heat seeking bombs at them. Kirb aims, and begins to shoot them down one by one, Denki rushes at Bombodia through the incoming explosives, and gale jumps into the air. He hammers his fist at her, knocking into Bombodia's stomach. She's launched backward, as Denki swings his foot, kicking her back down to the ground.

As the dust cleared, Denki lands back to the ground, ahead of Kirb. Bombodia grins, sitting up slowly from the attack. "Ohhh, you're really going to explode after this..." She says, looking to both of them, with a chaotic glare. She boosts herself off the ground, quickly in their direction. Kirb aims at Bombodia, shooting her quickly on the side of her face, gray metallic alloy could be seen through the ripped skin, around the infliction. Denki swings his fist at her, but she jumps over him, rocketing into the air. Bombodia opens her arms, letting a barrage of bombs fall over Denki and Kirb.

The two jump around, trying to avoid the blasts, but are soon caught up in the explosions. As the smoke clears, the location around them was battered with flames, running across the ground. Some oil catches flame, blowing up some nearby land mines. Bombodia grins as ashes fly from around them. "You didn't watch your step... It's in the rules boys." She says walking over to them.

Kirb aims his gun to Bombodia quickly, he had blood running down his head, from the explosions. Bombodia laughs calmly, as her eyes sharpen. "You know, that bit about staying together, I warned you about, back then? I think I'll be the one to break you apart. It's kind of a shame though, you would make a good slave... Unlike your friend there." She says, turning to Denki slightly.

The rain was still trickling down, yet the flames were not ceasing. Denki wiped his face, glaring to Bombodia. "Fuggedaboutit."

Kirb shifted on the ground, aiming his gun to Bombodia. He fires a shot, that collides with her breast plate, however it only nicked the armor. He was gritting his teeth.

Bombodia turns to Kirb, "Guess you need better equipment..." She says, smirking as she makes her way over to him. She grabs him by his choker, lifting him up off the ground. "This is a nice piece of jewelry. What are you some kind of cat? You look more like a rabbit." Bombodia mocked.

"Trying to patronize me?" Kirb huffed, before spitting in Bombodia's face. "Don't test me, bitch." He reached for her wrist, as he stuck the barrel of his gun to her forehead.

Bombodia smiles, swinging Kirb, slamming him to the ground. She forms one of her miniature bombs. "You think that's going to do anything to me? Wait until you find out what I have planned for you."

Bombodia kept her grip to his choker, but then forces the mini bomb into Kirb's mouth. As shes holding it shut with her hand, Kirb drops his gun, trying to pry her fingers from his mouth. His eyes were squinted shut, as he was growing frantic. Denki was struggling to get to his feet, seeing the Usa squirming.

As this is going on, Nyeyomi and Nari were stuck in traffic, with Nyeyomi at the wheel. Nari was watching the feed from the passenger seat. On the screen she could see Kirb's panic, and accidental swallowing of the bomb.

Nari covers her mouth, in terror. "Oh...My...KIRB!!!!!! KIRB!!!!!! NO!!!! NO!!!!" She squealed in horror.

Nyeyomi swerved the car, avoiding another oncoming vehicle. There was a honk at her from the other driver, who looked angry. "Nari! You need to calm down. What happened?" Nyeyomi asked, getting agitated.

"Kirb...Kirb swallowed...He SWALLOWED A BOMB!!!!!" Nari screamed, as tears ran down her face.

"Please stop yelling, it's not helping the situation." Nyeyomi stated, hovering the car over the traffic jam. "We'll take a detour."

The screen was showing Bombodia still holding Kirb, as he was squirming still. The Unit seemed amused, "Wow, that was easier than I thought." She says, letting off of Kirb, who falls to his knees, gagging in panic.

Denki came up behind Bombodia suddenly, using his right arm, to get her in a choke hold. He tightened his grip, keeping her in place.

"Deactivate that bomb, else your gonna regret it." He growled, sparking up with electric dama.

Bombodia digs her fingers into Denki's arm, embedding a bomb inside his flesh. "Oh look, now you get to make a choice... Is it going to be you, or him?" She says, smirking.

Denki winced, keeping his grip through the pain. "Some twisted piece of work, ain't ya?" He gritted his teeth, letting a current of electricity flood from his body.

Bombodia gets zapped up by the electrical dama. As it finished, she was sparking around laughing to herself, "Well, I guess this means you both die!" She says, setting off the explosive in Denki's arm.

Denki released her, falling back as his arm detonated. His limb was torn from his body in the process, as he fell to the ground. Blood began to leak excessively from were is was removed. He crashed into the rubble, rain falling over him. He was breathing heavy, holding to the wound. Kirb on the other hand, was now rolling on the ground, holding his stomach. He seemed to be in excruciating pain.

"Oh, looks like the bomb's expanding now... Savor your last moments." Bombodia states, holding up her fingers. "Or then... No... Guess you get to go 'bang'."

Kirb was shakily reaching for his gun, gripping his fingers around the trigger. He aimed it up at Bombodia, gritting his teeth as perspiration trailed down his face. "I'll see you in Stykx."

Before he could squeeze the trigger, Bombodia grinned. There was a strange beeping, that made him grow frantic in expression. The source was his belly. Three beeps went off, as his pain increased. Tears trailed from his face, as he took a final breath. Then without another sound, his stomach erupted with an explosion. The detonation tore his body apart, sending limbs, and guts flying in all directions. The remains caught fire, smoldering even with the falling rain.

Denki was looking over in complete shock, trying to get off the ground, with only one arm. "...."

On the other end of the monitor, Nyeyomi was racing through traffic. Nari however, was trembling, holding the monitor in her hands. "Kirb... Kirby... It's too late... IT'S TOO LATE!!!! No no no no no no!!! " Nari cried, pulling her head downward shaking terribly. "Why did I leave you!? I should have stayed! NO! KIRB!!! WHY!?" She had trails of tears rolling down her cheeks.

On the field of battle, Bombodia turned to Denki. "And then there was one... Sad ain't it? I told him to try and stay attached." She says, forming another bomb in her hand.

Denki finally got to his feet, his eyes focusing on Bombodia. "You're bananas, ya know that?..." He spit some blood to the side, as he glared to the unit.

Bombodia tosses the bomb into the air, gently catching it with her hand. "Yeah, I'm bananas for destruction. Can't wait to finish this renovation job. "

"Fuggedaboutit." Denki growled, rushing Bombodia's way. He was trailing with electricity, some lighting striking the ground around him from the sky above.

He slams his fist into Bombodia, knocking her backward. As she fell, she boosts herself to the side, avoiding a second punch from Denki. She goes to grab his arm, but Denki smacks her backward once more. Bombodia falls to her rear, and pushes off the ground standing to her feet.

"You're gonna make this hard, huh? Heh... Let's make this a little more interesting." She says, running at Denki again.

He waits until Bombodia was within reach, and pulls at her fast, catching her by the neck. Bombodia's eyes widen, as Denki sends a course of electrical energy, surging through her. Small bombs begin to appear, and expand from around Bombodia, blowing up around the two of them. Denki falls back from the attack, and out of the smoke, rushed Bombodia, smashing her knee right into Denki's face. He falls back to the ground, as Bombodia walks over to him.

She grabs Denki by his shirt collar, pulling him into the air. "Never knew how hard you'd make this..." Bombodia says, grinning. She turns, looking to some barbed wire fencing.

Bombodia tosses Denki in direction of the barbed wires, he crashes into dirt. Suddenly loud alert sirens go off. He was struggling to get up, but was entirely taken off by the warning sounds. All around him various land mine began to explode like a symphony of fireworks. In the process, he was taking more damage, his legs becoming completely shredded by the detonations.

Denki rolled to the side, groaning, when a sharper explosion went off below him. His entire lower cavity and legs were decimated, causing him to scream out in pain. Blood was trailing from his body, as he struggled to look to Bombodia. He was on his stomach, with his hips down to his feet completely missing. Some blood trailed from his mouth, but he kept his stern gaze. Electricity was sparking around him.

Bombodia walks over, and holds out her hand, disabling any remaining mines around them. She then stops, looking down to Denki. "The sirens didn't warn you enough? Heh, guess when it comes to walking, you can 'fuggedaboutit'." She mocks, turning away from him. "Welcome to the scrap yard." She then walks away from Denki.
