62 Espionage Invasion

Everyone in the base had gone off to their room for the night. Myde was in her chambers, now in a night gown, as she was letting down her hair. She sighed to herself, brushing through her long multi-colored locks. She still seemed down about the events on Hope Isle.

"Soon this will be over..." She said, solemnly. Placing down her brush, the ferline got to her feet, proceeding over to her bed. She sat down, shifting her hair with her hands.

From the darkness, stepped out boots. Upon hearing the clicking, Myde turned around. There she noticed Cravic, standing in her room.

"Cravic? What are you doing here?" She asked, appearing taken by surprise, hiding her insignificant sized chest with her arms. "I thought you were avoiding Medatros, even if he's away for now."

Cravic stepped over to her bed, sitting on the opposite end, to laid back to peer up at her. "Sorry. I wanted to see you." He admitted. "So, he's not here? Easier for me to stick around then."

Myde eased up, lowering one of her hands to gently placed it to the bed, beside him. "You snuck into my room, even knowing he may be in AM?"

"Yeah, I don't care..." Cravic looked over. "Even if you were with your family, it wouldn't stop me."

Myde smiled a bit, letting her hand touch his hair. "If I was, my sister Azure would be teasing us right about now."

Cravic glanced up to her, "You got a sister?"

Myde nodded, closing her eyes, as she relaxed. "Mhm. My younger sister, Azure."

"Anyone else?" Cravic asked.

"Our parents I suppose, but I was living with just my sister, before I was placed on this mission. I was to return, expected to marry my childhood friend, but he's dead now." Myde glanced off.

Cravic furrowed his brow, as he sat up to look to Myde. "Hey, I didn't mean to bring that up... I know it wasn't easy on you.."

Myde placed her hands to Cravic's face, looking to him. He was a bit taken off guard. "It's fine. I have you now." She smiled.

Cravic smirked back, closing his eyes. "Just like I lost my family, and all I have now is you."

He felt Myde lean in to kiss him, before opening his eye faintly. She let go, looking to him with an embarrassed expression. He went to kiss her again, with Myde leaning back to her bed, Cravic hovering over her. She made a faint moan as he shifted the position, as the view panned off.

The following morning. An overview of the Espionage facility was in sight, as Yuji was approaching the doors, with Issac and Myde in chains. He proceeded inside the main lobby, passed a few of the grunt workers, and over to the fat receptionist at the counter. She looked boredly to him, as she lifted her head from her work. "Can I help you?" She inquired, shifting her glasses on her face.

"Susan, you know me, Taurus of Zodiac. The Director. Come on." Yuji jested.

Susan pushed up her glasses, looking to Yuji, and then to the hostages. "Well, what do you know. You're alive. Well. I see you caught a traitor, and one of the targets. Bravo." She said, sarcastically.

Yuji shrugs, "Eh, you could show a little more emotion. I mean these are high priority targets. Can I get the key? Gotta take them to the big man."

"Now why would you want to do that? You shouldn't be bringing any attention to the company. 'You know who', might not like that." She pulls out an elevator key, holding it high above him, so he couldn't reach. "First, tell me why you kept them alive, little man."

Yuji grumbles, "Isn't it obvious? Think about it, we have live hostages, with information we can use. Our 'partners' could also really benefit from this."

"Fine, I'll let the boss decide what he does with you. Just stop barking at me like some animal." Susan dropped the key to Yuji's hand. "If they get loose, that's on you, Taurus. Now get going. I'm sure Life knows you're here right about now, and wants to know where you've been hiding out."

Yuji nods, "Thanks. Well, let's go you two." He says, tugging Issac and Myde along with him.

"Oh, one more thing, Taurus." Susan called. "I'm sending some of the grunts to help you with those... pests." She says, looking to some that were stationed around the room. She snapped her fingers at them. "You four, see to it that our Zodiac elite doesn't have any hassles."

The four saluted, following after Yuji to the elevator.

Yuji sighs to himself, "(Great... Let's hope they're in station.)"

Yuji approaches the elevator door, pressing the button. The gates of it opened, as he entered and the grunts follow him inside. The doors closed, as the dwarf dragon used the key on the control panel. With that, the elevator began moving up on it's own.

Yuji looks to one of the grunts, "Nice weather were having."

The grunts all nodded in unison. The elevator reaches it's destination, the door opens and Yuji leads Issac and Myde out ahead of him. The grunts follow behind them. "The boss is gonna love this part of show. Nothing like reality to really pick up the ratings." Yuji spoke up, again.

"Really?" Issac groaned.

A female grunt pokes Issac forward, and giggles.

Yuji looks back to the female, "Hey, we're trying to keep them at least a little healthy here. I don't need them dead, before they reach the boss."

"What's this about the boss?" Inquired a voice, as Yuji and the Grunts are approached by Vienne. She peers down to him. "Oh, the irony, the half-man actually isn't dead. To think, I thought you'd be the quickest one to die. What's you're secret? Hiding like a coward?" She laughed, obnoxiously, in a sly manner.

"Like I'd tell you. I got two of the trouble makers. Bare handed, when you guys couldn't even nab one. I guess I'm quicker than you give me credit for." Yuji shot back, in a snarky manner.

Vienne placed a hand to her hip, "You forget that Aiden caught four hostages for Kaos, when they first surfaced. Needless to say, he's better than you. More ways than one." Vienne provoked. "That's why he's the king."

Yuji laughs, "Whoa,whoa. You don't have to express your hidden desires like that. All those rumors going around, really could mess up your status. Not that this isn't adding to those already. Tell me more, I'll write a good documentary on you. The boss would love to see that."

"Oh, I'm sure he'd love that, and much as he loved you dating his daughter. Yeah, we all know about that, midget. He doesn't like you, so we can treat you any way we damn well please. No one gives a rat ass about you. I really don't see what any girl would see in a half-man like you in the first place. You're just so, short and ugly. I bet your dick is small too, just like the rest of you." Vienne shoved Yuji back a bit.

The others were getting uneasy at this point.

Yuji growls, "So, he told you?...Everyone?"

Vienne smiles wide, in an eerie manner. "Oh, you know it. He's going to be so irritated that you're alive. There was even a party when you were 'supposedly' dead. So much for that."

Yuji clenches his fists, as fire begins to burn around them. "A party? Celebrating my death!?" He looks to Vienne, burning with anger.

"Oh..." Vienne made a mocking, pouty face. "Did I upset the little guy?" She then started to laugh, wildly. "Pahahah! You're such a waste of space! Life should have gotten rid of you long before now, even if you have some useful talents. I bet that girl of yours though, when you fucked, she asked, 'are you in yet'?"

One of the female grunts, seemed to be shaking in irritation, but Vienne hasn't noticed. Yuji without hesitation flies at Vienne, punching her backward hard. The grunts grabbed Issac and Myde, as they all were looking to Yuji. This wasn't part of the plan.

"(What is he DOING?!)" Issac was gritting his teeth,

The flames of Yuji's punch however, seemed to nullify as they were absorbed into her body. "W-What!?" He says, hopping back from her.

Vienne grinned, tilting her head. "What, half pint, forgot I'm immune to fire? You can thank my mother for that skill." She cackled, "Look at you, all hot and bothered now. Is that really the best you can do? Make a fool of yourself in front of the underlings, and your pesky hostages?" Her eyes panned over, growing bored.

Yuji catches his breath and shuts his eyes, "You're right.... I lost my cool.... Boss's room is the other way..." He says, holding up his hand. Yuji forms a wall out of no where, blocking his sight of Vienne. He looks back to the others. "...Sorry I lost myself there... Let's get over to the room, before anyone figures out this is all an act."

Behind him, a shadow emerged from the wall, with a hand grabbing his neck from behind. Vienne was now hovering overhead, shadows of fire dancing around Yuji. Her eyes sharply gazing to the grunts and hostages, as her grip tightened. "So, you're a traitor, just like the cat. No wonder you're not dead. Now I have seven gifts for Life. Hehehehe..." She cackled, black flames surrounding the entire group now.

"Yuji!" One of the female grunts called, rushing to his aid. Two blue power gloves formed, slashing Vienne's way. Vienne grabbed to her wrist, from behind Yuji, reaching for the grunt's mask with her opposite hand.

"Well, then you must be his 'precious' little mouse." Vienne licked her lips. "Won't daddy be happy to see you."

Yuji struggles, as he looks at Asuna, fear crossing his eyes. "NO! L-LEAVE HER ALONE!!"

Barret engages his power glove, forming a sword. He rushes, jumping at Vienne, but is knocked back by fire, he falls to the ground, as his grunt armor was cracked now in places. "S-She's powerful....crap..." He says, trying to grip himself up.

"Uh, can you untie me!? I think the cat's out if the bag right about now!" Issac gawked, trying to get loose. Myde was trying to get free as well.

Nari was shaking under her suit, as voices begin to come to her, "(Let them die so you can have more to work with...You can talk it over with her....)" She shakes her head, and forms a sword from her power glove as well, but it was casting a darker energy around it. "GET AWAY FROM HER!!!!!!" Nari demands, as dark electricity ran through her body. She jumps into the air, smashing into Vienne, knocking the flames away. However, the impact knocks Yuji and Asuna into walls around. Asuna's helmet had also fallen off.

Nari was breathing heavily, and laughs a bit. "If anyone's becoming a project it's going to be you bitch! YOU DON'T MESS WITH MY FAMILY!"

Yuji squints, looking to Nari, "What in the? Asuna! Are you okay!?" He calls, scrambling over to her quickly.

Asuna stumbled to sit up, "I'm okay... This is bad though, Yuji..." She hugged to him, as he got to her.

Bit unlocks the holds on Issac and Myde quickly, "Early boss, time for some team support guys!" He turns to The battle zone, as Vienne got up from the rubble.

"You stupid girl." Vienne was shaking her head, displeased greatly. "Now you all will perish." She grinned, powering up more flames around her, as she pulled to her katana.

Barret had got his back up to the wall, looking to the battle, "She's still standing? Urgh...At least Asuna and Yuji are alright but... gah..What's going on with Nari? I gotta...get up..." He says to himself, struggling to get to his feet.

Nari giggles, "Please save it for the lab table. You're going to wish you had kept your hands off my sister. Not to mention, my future brother in law."

"Oh touchy. Such a fiery little thing, aren't you. Tsk tsk." Vienne teased, zipping fast at Nari and the others, with what seemed to be after images of Vienne trailing behind her. She swung her blade, upper cutting in Nari's path.

Nari gets hit up all around herself, flying through the ceiling. She then falls back to the ground, cut up. Issac quickly jumps in front of Nari, protecting her from the next attack, his power glove clashing with Vienne's sword.

"Back off, she's already hurt as it is!" Issac snapped.

Vienne leaned closer, to sharply glare to Issac. "Men are so stupid sometimes. Can't you see, I want to send her to Stykx? Such a nuisance." Vienne knocked Issac back wards, shifting her stance. "All of you pathetic little morsels are doomed from the start. Get ready to die."

"Don't count us out yet!" Myde rushed at Vienne, swinging her sword-staffs.

Vienne flipped over Myde as she performed a spiral cut, sending flaming rings of fire in all directions of the arena.

Barret gasps, deflecting some fire from him, using his power glove. "(Come on! We can't loose here!)" He thought to himself.

Bit holds his hand into the air, forming a huge data shield around everyone, however he was caught up in the flames, with the entirety of his armor burned away. He was now seen revealed in his regular attire. "Tempting fate here... Urgh, I think my disk is skipping... I'm gonna spam you so bad!"

Yuji stands up with Asuna, "We need to get Nari, I'm not sure if we can keep going at this point..." He suggested, feeling fatigued.

"I concur. This is too dangerous." Asuna agreed.

Issac got back to his feet, gritting his teeth. "We can't give up, not when we're this far in! I don't care if we have destroy this entire facility! There's no turning back now!" He called out.

Barret nods to Issac's comment, "You're right... Let's go... No giving up."

Nari floats up from the ground, dark dama was now running her body. She looks to Issac smiling, "I agree, let's kill her..."

Myde shifted to her feet, "I'm not gonna argue. The heat in here is already irritating me." Myde said, ice beginning to frost over the ground.

Barret rushes, with Bit beside him, at Vienne. Bit manipulates many sharp digital cubes around her, he then balls up his fist, and smashes them together. The cubes fly, smashing in on Vienne, who blows them away, with her strong fire energy. Bit gasps, then pulls to his katana. Barret follows up, using his wings from his power glove to gain speed, he then forms it quickly into a sword, he horizontally smashes into Vienne, knocking her backward.

Issac suddenly forms his sword slashing Vienne from behind, quickly he forms the wings which carries Vienne off the ground into the air. Once airborne, he preforms a tempest slash, knocking into Vienne, which after he dives down, impacting her through the floor. Nari grins and zips down beside Vienne, she begins to step on the fiery female, quickly impacting the ground rapidly.

Nari was laughing, manically. "HOW'S IT FEEL TO GET MASHED INTO PIECES!?" Nari felt her ponytails gripped suddenly, and pulled back roughly. She's then slammed into a nearby wall.

Nari groans her vision was blurring, "W-What was-?" She then falls out cold.

Yuji walks over to the hole, with Asuna beside him. Issac, Barret and Myde also made their way over.

"What was that?" Yuji inquired.

"N-Nari? NARI!?" Asuna called, growing frantic.

A sharp gust knocked everyone back harshly, as wings came into view. Landing from outside the hole in the ground, was Aiden. He formed away his wings, clutching to Nari's motionless body.

Vienne leapt up from the hole, beside him, dusting her self off. "How bothersome." She groaned.

Aiden glanced back to her, "The boss is going to be pissed, are you alright at least, Vee?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just getting fired up, now that you're here." Vienne replied, playfully.

"Crap, the final two zodiac at once?" Issac was getting unsure, trying to keep his game face.

"We thought the last two were bad..." Barret added.

Yuji swallows nervously, "...Okay, listen, we're way in over our heads, guys just give in... We can't beat them! I mean, she's hardly dented! Don't even get me started on Aiden! He's built like a freaking wrecking ball!"

"Should listen to the coward, while you're alive. This girl, not gonna be so lucky." Aiden stated, taking one of his swords, to aim at Nari.

"NO!" Asuna called out, frantically.

Issac formed his crossbow, firing a rapid shot at Aiden. It struck the Necroden's arm, forcing him to drop Nari to his side. Aiden glared to Issac, as the blue haired boy rushed Aiden abruptly. Not even flinching as Aiden pulled to his second sword.

"ISSAC!!! DON'T!" Barret screamed, reaching his hand out.

Aiden swung one of his blades at Issac, who dodged, jumping up to use the blade as a boost. He then shifted his power glove to a sword, slashing at Aiden. The attack was deflected however, by the second sword. Issac was trying to keep his footing, when the horned man, bashed him back hard, with a full on headbutt. Issac skidded across the way, hopping to his feet. He formed his whip, rushing Aiden again, the others preparing to join the fray. Before they could, Issac's whip was countered by the sword, being struck to the ground. With it stuck, Issac was unable to move, as he tugged to it.

"Dammit." Issac gritted his teeth, seeing the nearing necroden preparing to strike once again.

Before the attack could connect, Aiden was slammed back hard; being knocked back across the room. Vienne looked horrified, as everyone turned their eyes to Issac. Standing to his side was Cravic, his demon arm spiraling of dark dama.

"Just in time." Cravic peered down to Issac.

"...." Issac was stunned. "Uh... T-Thanks, Cravic..."

Cravic's eyes turned to Aiden, who was already to his feet. "The halfer again?..." Aiden sneered.

Barret's eyes widen, "(He knocked him across the room... I knew Cravic had power, but that's insane...This is way out of our league...)"

Aiden's attention was turned to Cravic and Issac still, as he dragged his swords along the ground. He was laughing, eerily. "Well, this should be more fun than the last bout, then, eh? Get ready to meet your maker, halfer!" Aiden charged in, slashing Cravic back roughly.

"CRAVIC!" Myde cried out, rushing to where he was knocked, with her sword-staffs already.

However ,Vienne intercepted her path, creating a massive wall of fire. "Nu-uh-uh." Vienne waved her finger to Myde.

Myde flared her teeth, "Get out of my way!"

"Screw you, cat." Vienne swung her blade at Myde, clashing with the Sword-Staffs.

Yuji and Asuna were making there way over to Nari. He then stops, holding his hand out to Asuna. "Wait, stay here. I'll get her, okay? I don't want you getting hurt anymore.."

Asuna takes his hand. "I can't let you go on your own though. You may want to protect me, but I want to protect you too, darling. Let's hurry to Nari, please."

Yuji sighs, and looks back to Asuna. "There's a reason you're my leading lady... Okay, let's be extra careful, no stunt doubles on set." He states, looking back to the battle.

Bit and Barret were now working side by side, trying to aid Myde against Vienne. Barret swings his sword, but his hand gets caught by Vienne. She slashes him quickly, back into Bit, who was preparing another onslaught of cubes. Myde rushes Vienne, forming ice around herself, Vienne smashes through the ice, revealing a clone that shatters. As the ice falls, Myde had time to get above Vienne, who then spots Myde quickly. Vienne jumps into the air, kicking Myde to the ground, and pins her down into floor with her heel.

"Argh!" Myde cried out, in pain.

"MYDE!" Barret shouted, as he tried to get up from the ground.

"Uh, we're shovel ware to this boss... We should have farmed up our levels more..." Bit groaned. "We're so gonna game over, with only one LIFE LEFT! We could really use some dream tears here..."

Cravic was distracted briefly, as his eye turned to Myde. He was clearly worried about her, but Aiden slammed him back harshly. Cravic tumbled to his knees, leering up to Aiden.

"Keep that eye on the battle, or maybe you might loose it, like you lost that other one." Aiden snickered, devilishly.

Issac gripped himself up, readying the whip as his eyes peered to Cravic, who was now on his feet. "We need to work together here, Cravic." Issac urged him.

"Get ready to fight then. I'm going to break his face." Cravic huffed, angrily.

Issac nodded, "Count me in. Let's do this."

Both men dove at Aiden, slashing the Necroden once again. As they shortened the gap, both of Aiden's swords X-slashed at them. Issac and Cravic ducked to the side, slashing Aiden at his legs. There was a sudden cloud of debris from the impact, as Aiden had turned to face them, already back on his feet. Issac and Cravic glanced back, the tension of their gazes picking up.

"That barely did anything." Issac gritted his teeth.

Yuji and Asuna had finally made it to Nari's side. Yuji goes to pick her up, and Nari hits his hand away. She sits up, looking to the fight, then back to Asuna and Yuji, "Don't worry...I just need to rest a little..."

"Nari, listen to yourself. You're not well, you're in no shape to fight like this! This is dangerous!" Asuna urged her.

"I was against coming to this place, but... I can't worry about danger anymore." Nari says, getting to her feet. "I just want to tear this place a part. You know good and well why."

Yuji shakes his head, "Whatever is going on with you, we'll have to figure it out later. Right now, let's get away from all this fighting!"

Asuna nods, "Nari, don't be reckless now."

Nari giggles, "I'll try... All I really see now are lab experiments."

Yuji grabs to Asuna and Nari's hands, pulling them with him, away from the violence, to a safe section of the hallway.

An explosion detonates near Vienne, before Bit is flung across the hall. Flames increasing around them. "Is that the best you prudes can do!? HAH!" Vienne cackled.

An intercom clicks on, as a male voice is heard speaking. "Capricorn. Ophiuchus. That's enough." Both Aiden and Vienne cease the fighting, looking to the intercom. "I had fun watching the bloodshed. Granted I'm disappointing seeing Taurus alive, and with my daughters no less. You could have at least taken his head. I can't sit here talking your ear off though, bring them to me. I know it's me they seek. I'll be waiting 'Peace Makers'."The voice cuts from the microphone.

"...Dad.." Nari says, grinding her teeth.

"... Just what we need...." Asuna seemed unnerved as well.

"That's him... but did he say daughters? Espionage's leader is their father?" Barret thought out loud.

Issac gritted his teeth, his eyes to the loud speaker. His gaze noticed Aiden place away his swords, grabbing Issac and Cravic roughly by their shirt collars. "You heard Life, he wants to have a proper introduction."

Vienne on the other side, removed her heel, crossing her arms. "Oh fine, well, guess you get to live a while longer. Move along now, let's not keep Life waiting." She shoved Myde and Barret along.

Bit was getting up, not too far off from Asuna, Yuji and Nari. "... I have a bad feeling about this..." He muttered.

The group was forced to a passage way, all being shoved to the ground with each other. Vienne and Aiden standing behind them, to seal the doors. There was a doorway ahead of them however.

The microphone turns back on, and the voice speaks once more. "Ohh, I forgot to mention one teensie little detail. To get to me, you have to complete my trails, don't soil yourself now. I WANT TO REALLY SEE HOW YOU, AND YOUR FRIENDS HANDLE THIS! Oh yeah, my Zodiac elites, would you care to escort my daughters to me. I wish to catch up, perhaps even have a family reunion. NO SCREAMING you two. Daddy's waiting, sugar plums."

Vienne and Aiden each took one of the two sisters, forcing Asuna and Nari with them through the darkness as they vanished. The others panicked, seeing the sisters disappear.

Yuji reaches for them frantically, "ASUNAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" He screamed.
