55 The Dollmaker

Meanwhile, from a security camera angle, the view of Espionage's front desk location spotted Aiden appear from darkness. He was walking through without hassle, passing a sign of the company's logo. He pressed a button to the elevator, as he came to a halt. The floor numbers scrolled, as it stopped before him, and the doors opened. Standing there inside, was Vienne, slyly smirking to the Necroden as he stepped in facing her. She reached behind him, pressing a button with a crown emblem.

"I was wondering when you would be joining me, Aiden." Vienne placed her index finger to his chest, swirling it playfully.

His sharp eyes focused on her, as he grinned devilishly. "I had business to take care of, you know that, Vivi." Aiden placed his hand behind her head, at the base of her neck.

Vienne moved closer to him, pressing her lips against his, with him returning the motion. She looked to him, after breaking the kiss. "There are only four more Zodiac. Those Peace Makers are really becoming a nuisance."

"So Maxwhyld is gone now too? Shame." Aiden replied, turning Vienne around, and pushing her to the wall.

"In the company elevator? You naughty boy." Vienne licked her fangs, as Aiden lifted her skirt.

"You know you like it." Aiden bit at her ear, unzipping his pants.

"Maybe." She grinned, being shoved against the elevator wall, from the motion of Aiden entering her.

Vienne moaned a bit, "So, I've spoken things over with Kyro."

"Mhm?" Aiden replied, continuing.

"And I have a plan how we can handle them." Vienne explained.

"Do tell." Aiden inquired, huffing slightly.

"It involves Kaos, so we'll need to discuss things with your sister." Vienne gripped to the railing.

"We can talk about this more when she gets here then. That way you don't need to repeat yourself." Aiden replied, just as the elevator hit a floor.

The doors opened, There stood Sion, her face becoming quite disgusted. "...Aiden? In the public of all places?" She inquired, crossing her arms, as she stepped inside the elevator, and the doors closed behind her.

Aiden glanced to Sion, releasing Vienne, who slumped a bit to the wall, as he zipped up his pants. "You were supposed to meet us on my floor." Aiden looked to his sister.

"Yeah." Vienne looked over lazily.

"Honestly, I'm happy I caught you. This organization has been declining terribly. By seeing this, it wasn't really adding to my thoughts, or good review of this place. Espionage is in VERY hot water right now... So, just accept I caught you doing this, and don't let it happen again. I don't want you loosing your place Aiden. Especially seeing you have plans for a little one at some point." Sion states, fanning herself.

"Pfft, really? You think that?" Aiden quirked a brow, crossing his arms.

"You did zip up your pants. Perhaps I need to remind you more of how easy it is to well impregnate someone?" Sion questioned rolling her eyes.

"If that happens, there us a little thing called 'abortion', sister." Aiden towered over Sion.

Vienne crossed her arms, keeping her bored expression set on Sion.

Sion sighs, "How horrible, you wouldn't even think of giving the baby up to me? Or the organization? Then, the child becoming a unit would be horrible...Urgh... Let's get upstairs to the meeting. I have much to go over with you, and your leader..."

The elevator went up, transitioning to black, where it panned back to Alien Ministry headquarters. Issac and company had just returned, and were on their way to report things to Medatros in his office.

"I suppose when we give Medatros the information..." Nari stops, a bit holding her head, "(Come on...Not now..)" She thought to herself.

Kirb placed his hand to the top of her head, looking down. "You okay?"

Issac also glanced back, seeing Nari holding her head.

"Oh...uhh heh...Listen, I guess the stress hit me pretty hard. I'm going to go lay down. You guys can take it from here, right?" Nari asked, forming a fake smile.

"Uh sure, I got it covered." Issac nodded, glancing to Kirb. "Did you want to stay with Nari, dude?"

Kirb peered down to Nari. He seemed a bit concerned with her, but didn't know how to respond to the inquiry, so instead looked to her to see what she wanted.

"Well... (We could make a good project with him or something...)" Nari shakes her head, "I have to go lay down... You can come if you want Kirb... I mean it's like..Urgh.." Nari states, seeming very jumbled in thinking.

He put his hand behind her, "I think you can use me there." He shifted her, towards the direction of her room.

Nari shivers a little, "O-Okay...(I'm loosing myself...Dammit Dread...) Kirb...uhh...Let's go then..."

Kirb helped her along to her room, Issac watched them head off. He continued down the hall, facing where he was headed. "Hopefully she's not getting sick, or something." He muttered, making his way through.

On the way, from around the corner, Barret is seen walking in direction to Medatros's office as well. He spots Issac, which surprises him, "Issac? Oh my, it's been a little bit, hasn't it? Feels good to be back on my feet again."

Issac had his hands in his pockets, and glances over to Barret. "Hm? Oh hey Chief. Long time no see. How're you feeling?"

Barret places a finger up to his lip, rubbing under it, "As bright as a dream tear. Honestly, Scape is good at what he does... Though as for Katinka, she's...well.." He was becoming quite sorrowful in tone.

"She's what? Dude?" Issac looked to him, seriously.

"Sick... I can't get near her, she's too contagious, and taking her on missions is a bad idea... She had overused her elemental powers, and has come down with some condition known as, 'elementitis'." Barret says, holding a hand to his head.

"Is that bad?" Issac inquired.

Barret shakes his head, "I'm not sure, but she is coughing a lot, her elemental output is jammed, and well... Scape has her in protective covering. I suppose it could be just over exhaustion, but..."

"First Nari, and now Katinka? Hopefully it doesn't spread across the base... Wait... You said Scape twice there... Nari brought him back here? The heck man... Urgh..." Issac groaned.

Barret sighs, nodding, "Yeah, I know how you feel. I guess that answers my other question though, so, you guys were the ones to find him. Nari didn't inform us. We just found Scape starring in at us. At least he's being helpful though..." He says, rubbing his head, forming an unsure expression.

"Have you spoken to Medatros about that yet?" Issac ask, as he and Barret begin to resume the walk to the commander's office.

"I was just on my way over there to speak with him about it. Heh, some timing, right Issac?" Barret states, smiling.

"Guess we have a lot to discuss this meeting. You're mission, Scape, and things on my mission... and me going dark... fun." Issac sighed.

"Going dark? So, the dark dama, huh?" Barret asked, placing his hand to the office door to open it.

"Something like that, I'll mention it in the meeting." Issac nodded, as the two stepped inside.

Medatros was on the phone at the moment. "Hmm...I see...When I return I will give her my proper farewells... I suppose I'll return once Denki has arrived to take over my position here." He then spots Issac and Barret, "We will talk more soon. Thank you Kareen." He says, hanging up the phone.

"Bad timing?" Issac looked to the commander.

"The Queen of Vectrom has passed away,so I will be needing to relieve my duties to Denki once he returns. (First Xiao, now Ailene?)... But those are matters for when the time comes. It's good to see you back Issac, you as well, Barret." Medatros says, cupping his hands.

"Sir..." Barret says, nodding.

"So, tell me Barret, how did your mission go, before Nari brought you, and your team into the med bay?" Medatros inquires.

"Oh yes, well upon entering the area of interest, we were encountered by a Zodiac who tricked us into following her. After dealing with the Zodiac, and some hazards, we encountered Cynder and Dylan. Their friend was a captive, and now the three are wandering who-knows-where." Barret explained.

Medatros sighs, "I was worried about that...What of Cravic? Did you see him anywhere, though he hates me, I felt his strong connection with Myde..."

"Hm? That's quite interesting, might I ask? Do all Elementar carry a way of reading minds, or emotions?" Barret asked, forming a sweat drop.

"I am part Esper..." Medatros states proudly.

"Then why have we been bothering to give you all the details, when you can just read our minds, boss-man?" Issac crossed his arms.

"Focusing on many minds at one time becomes challenging, besides I enjoy the conversation, rather than prying for things without effort. Which explains why it was easy to trust Myde, over some of her other companions. I went against my better judgement to trust Luke however." Medatros explained.

"Hmm, well that makes a lot of sense then. Oh, thinking now, Scape, have you met him yet?" Barret asked to Medatros.

Medatros sighs, "..."

"I take that as a 'yes'." Issac remarked.

Medatros nods, "(I'm honestly happy I'm going to be leaving soon...) Alright Issac, so what are the details surrounding your mission to the mines?"

"Mines? Issac went to the mines? Our Issac?" Barret says, seeming off taken by the remark.

Issac nudged Barret a bit, "Hey, he forced me alright. It was probably gonna be your mission, before I got sent on it." Issac said to Barret, before looking to Medatros. "Alright, so we went through the mine shaft, like you asked. Trust me, not cool man. Don't make me do that again. We fought some Kaos robots, then happened across Scape, and yet another usa captive. My mind's a bit fuzzy on the details with her. Anyways! I hope you know, we encountered a zodiac... that KICKED me through many walls, and somehow managed to get my necklace off. The one that keeps my DD down, mind you... I... couldn't control myself, and cut the front legs off this centaur zodiac, before I took him out... then I wandered off to some village, or something in the outback. By MY SELF. I tried to save a little girl who was calling me her brother... while trying to fight off more Kaos bots... then I encountered Vash and his 'friend', where the girl, Demi, got abducted by Sandra, after I went ape shit on a swarm of Kaos units... Then we had to deal with that fat lady, Freya. Oh, did I mention I sliced her freak'n in half.... yeah.. I had a bad day.. Sue me." Issac blew up his bangs, in irritation.

Barret's mouth drops, "Wait, did I hear you say you...Killed that Freya woman? What about Sandra!? You couldn't get her back!?" He asked, becoming frantic.

"I tried to stop her from bailing man, no cigar." Issac sighed.

Barret sighs to himself, "It's okay... Not like you could have done much if you wanted... But it's good to know that fat banshee is gone...and Sandra's alive still."

Medatros ponders to himself, "Yes, that is quite a lot... Though given the DD had taken over you... We must find a way to contain that, so nothing like that can happen again. That necklace, granted, it keeps it down... If you are to loose it, in time it could turn disastrous... I am happy you made it back however." He says, now folding his arms.

"I'm sure Witchhazel could think of something. Is she back yet?" Issac seemed itching to see his girlfriend.

"Sadly, she hasn't returned yet, but I'm sure she's wanting to see you just as badly. Until then, we do have other matters at hand..." Medatros states, placing on a far more serious demeanor.

"You haven't started the next mission debriefing yet, I hope." Myde stepped in behind them.

Barret turns to Myde, "Myde? Are you sure you're set to go right now? You still look pretty bad."

"I'll be fine, I am used to situations such as this. Don't fret, alright? I've been worse off." Myde explained.

Issac put his hands behind his head, "Not like my team are good for missions, Nari's sick I think, and Kirb's looking after her."

"Kirbon is looking after someone other than himself?" Myde raised a brow.

"Well yeah, boyfriend's usually do that." Issac yawned a bit.

"Well then." Myde seemed surprised.

"I mean, we could ask Bit to go with us, if you need to rest through, not sure what rock he's been hiding under." Issac explained.

"I already stated that I'm fine." Myde replied, her ears shifting back.

"Well okay..." Barret says, looking back to Medatros.

Medatros clears his throat, "If you are all set...We can resume mission to Hope Isle, as the information has been looked over, and straightened out. This was the final location Luke had given us, before his betrayal. I want you to investigate as much as the island as you can. We have no idea where the Zodiac may be, but there is a huge possibility the enemy forces could be trying to reactivate a terrible device."

"The Atom Maker, right?' Barret inquired.

Medatros nods, "Yes... Not even our forces would be enough to take on something like that..."

"Jeez, and we've put this location off twice now. Think about what could have happened already." Issac crossed his arms.

"Which is why you leave now..." Medatros says, shutting his eyes.

The scene transitioned to the cruiser flying towards Hope isle. Barret was piloting the vessel as they made their way over.

"I am so glad we don't have to ride a boat again." Issac sweated nervously, to the water out the window.

Barret was smiling to the scene before him, the wide ocean, and the sun with a bit of the dark dama moon hanging over head. "Honestly this view is wonderful! I'm happy I get to come on this mission, I missed out the first time."

The cruiser soon arrived on a beach, that was near what appeared to be a cave. Not far off from the sand, was a grassland, leading to a forest in the distance. The door to the cruiser opens as Issac, Barret and Myde step onto the soft sand.

"Well, here we are. I suppose we'll make our way to the camp. According to the directions it's north from here." Barret explained, folding his arms.

Issac placed his hand to his side, glancing to Barret. "Leave it to Chief to always jump shotgun. Ya'know, we should explore more, before heading to the camp dude. If there is a Zodiac here, they might be hidden someone else on this 'vast' island." He took a step away from the water, that came up on his heels, uneasily.

"Issac does pose a good point." Myde agreed, looking to the distance, her ears listening around a bit.

Barret rubs the back of his head, letting out a sigh, "Hmm, good point, as long as we don't get too close to the active volcano here, we should be fine..."

Issac peered over to Barret, getting distance from the large body of water, uncomfortably. "Don't tell me your scared of a volcano, Chief. Come on, THAT-" Issac motions to the water. "-Is what's really unnerving. All that... Water..." Issac shuttered at the thought.

"Issac, I have full right to be. You know lava burns! It also moves, quickly. Depending on the elevation. I'd take an ocean over that. anyway... Don't get me started on those earthquakes either!" Barret says, shuttering, he was almost sounding paranoid.

"You both sound like nervous wrecks." Myde scoffed, teasingly as she walked ahead of them. "Come on now, are you two men, or kittens?"

"Hey, not funny! I can't swim." Issac snapped back at her.

Barret elbows Issac softly, "Issac? Let's not give her the benefit of the doubt. We have to show our worth here...So..Umm, let's try not to let our fears get the best of us...Okay? (I'm shaking here...)" He states to himself.

"Right. (I forgot she can get scary...)" Issac shivered, recalling her angry side with a flaming background.

"Don't fall behind you two. I heard that the woods here can be treacherous. People may get lost in there forever, as rumor stats." Myde glanced back to them.

"Forrest...." Issac gawked, "Great, more things I REALLY don't like...." He sighed slightly, as he begrudgingly followed the female ferline.

"You're telling me. After that last mission we had... Urgh, but come on. We just have to keep our sights sharp..." Barret says, walking ahead of Issac.

Myde began leading them into the upcoming wooded area, bravely as always. As they walk deeper in, they spot a couple of rocks, which were laying symmetrical from each other. There were also four branching paths around them.

"Great, a fork in the road." Issac crossed his arms.

"Hmm...This is interesting... I guess this is what adds to people getting lost?" Barret inquires, scratching his head.

"I assumed as much with, the how the maps looked that Medatros gave to me." Myde mentioned.

"Maps? You have a map, and you didn't tell us?" Issac gasped.

Myde glanced over, "You never asked. Leave it to boys to not know how to navigate." She teased.

"What's with you?" Issac grumbled.

"I was about to ask the same question." Barret says, grinning to Myde, with his eyes shut.

"Didn't I mention my ability with maps, and navigation before? Why else would I go off ahead and return? I make mental notes of my surroundings, and can maneuver from there. It's part of my training. Even so, I suppose I'm in a better mood today, or perhaps you two being scared has me amused." Myde remarked.

Issac crossed his arms, with a raised brow in annoyance. "... (Please don't test me, I'm already edgy enough as it is today... no freak'n break... No Witchhazel... Urgh...)"

As Barret was about to respond, a scream is suddenly heard coming from one of the pathways, "HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLP!!!"

He turns his attention around the forest. "H-huh? Did you guys here that!? It came from... umm one of these directions?"

Myde's ears twitched, shifting around to listen. "The reverberating of the woods made it too hard to distinguish the source of the cry's location."

Issac was staring down the farthest path to the left, before rushing down it. "It's this way!" He called, moving ahead.

"That idiot. He's going to get lost." Myde gawked a bit, with her ears back.

Barret growls, "Yeah, come on, let's follow him, quick!"

As Issac ran forward, he's met with hanging dolls in trees, and spots one that looked exactly like him. Issac stared awkwardly to the doll, with a unsettling expression to his face. "What the..?"

"PLEASE! LET US GO!" A girl's voice cried. Issac turns his attention from the doll, rushing to the voice. Barret and Myde had finally caught up a little, becoming off taken by the dolls.

"Umm just... Is that Asuna and Issac?" Barret ponders, his face becoming confused.

"Someone has a twisted sense of humor... We should move." Myde replied.

Barret nods, "R-right..(Volcanoes, now weird hanging voodoo dolls?)"

Issac had gotten further into the brush, ignoring that fact he was surrounded by trees. He tossed his fears aside, to push himself so that he may be able to save whoever this girl was. Soon he spots two girls with purple hair, wearing blue and yellow stripped clothing. They were tied up in strong metallic rope, dangling from the trees. There were more dolls around them, some even resembling the girls.

The older of the two girls, looks to Issac. "You there! You have to get us out of here quickly!"

"Just hang on, alright." Issac made his way to them, quickly.

A shard of ice cuts a string on a doll looking like Issac. Suddenly, an icicle falls right in Issac's path, blocking him from the girls. "Ah,ah,ah... Can't let you take them away from me, Ice." A creepy, sinister female voice echoed around him.

Issac's eyes glanced right up to the voice in the trees, pinpointing her almost instantly. His eyes widened a bit at the sight of her. "Demi?..."

Before him on the branch, was what looked to be Demi, however, she was now dressed in an icy tutu, with what seemed to be robotic rabbit ears. She looked like a ballerina almost, but more unnerving.

Demi cackles, "Glacetra is my unit name. Getting a better look at you though now... I really got you down in looks. Hey, how about this, you want to be with me forever? I can make you into a perfect marionette." Glace states, as a shadow casts over one eye, while she forms a sharp grin.

Issac was shaken, "Demi... they did this to you too?.... Those bastards..."

Some robotic looking rabbits hop out of bushes, as Glacetra drops to the ground. She kept her psychotic stare at Issac. "Don't worry big bro... I'm fine. Heh,heh... See I'm happy! I want you to be happy too. We can be one BIG happy family... Forever..." She says, pointing her hand forward to command her robotic rabbits.

He was sweating nervously, "(They just had to... make her creepy even...)" He couldn't move, as the rabbits leapt towards him.

The bunnies continued to hop closer and closer. However, as they drew near, right as they jumped at Issac, a barrage of arrows pelted their way. Each shot struck into a rabbit, causing them to blow up, almost simultaneously. Issac snapped out of it, taking a breath in near panic, to where the shots came from. "Arrows?"

"No shit Sherlock." Spoke up a ginger haired boy, who looked about thirteen, that Issac remembered. He was standing not far off, and possibly had came from a separate path than Issac's party had taken. "Not sure why 'you' of all people are here, but I'll deal with that, after you help me get the girls out of this fucking mess."

"(Bryce's brother?)" Issac was confused, but he nodded, turning his attention back to Glacetra. "Fair enough... Imogen, right?"

"Yeah, but shut up. Not the place, man." Imogen aimed another arrow, from his bow at the unit before him. "Listen lady, I'm not in the mood. Let my friends go, and no one has to get hurt."

"Ohh another soon to be dolly. HOW GRAND! Your friends aren't going anywhere, but back to base. Got it Orange? Or do I have to give you buttons for ears? Blowing up my rabbits like that! Grr." Glacetra states, forming an icy sword.

"You're one of those dama units, like the ones that my brother was turned into, aren't you?" Imogen sneered to her. He didn't loosen up his bow.

"Dude, don't be hasty now... There might be someway to reverse things." Issac tried to urge Imogen to settle down.

"Listen Sherlock, I know what I'm doing. I watch the damn feeds, but we don't have time to think about cures right now." Imogen stated.

"IMOGEN!!!" The older girl cried out, kicking her feet around.

"Stop whining Sheka, I'll get you and Lilly outta there, jeez." Imogen groaned.

One of Glacetra's robot rabbits hop up near Imogen from behind. It begins to blink, and Sheka catches eye of it. "IMOGEN! BEHIND YOU!!!"

Her words had reached him too late, as he turned to see the rabbit explode, kicking Imogen into a couple others which also exploded. The forest ground had been dented with fallen trees, and dolls now laying around, where Imogen had landed.

"Ha ha ha!!! My rabbits really know how to prepare the tools for work." Glacetra states cackling.

Issac was taken by surprise, from the sudden preemptive strike of the robots. However, as the smoke cleared, Imogen had already gotten to his feet. He gusted around a bit with wind dama, blowing back nearby rabbits into tree trunks, that weren't too far off. He wiped some blood from his lip. "Bitch." Imogen growled.

"Are you okay, dude?" Issac got over to Imogen.

"I'm fine." Imogen replied, lazily.

More robot rabbits teleport into the area. Glace walks between them, now standing under Sheka and Lilly. "You still have a chance to join up." She says, forming a sly smile, "I won't make it that painful. I promise..."

"Demi, you have to still be in there. Come on." Issac turned to her, a bit frantic.

"It's not going to do shit man, Bryce didn't even react like he cared, when he saw me as that 'thing' Kaos turned him into." Imogen immediately fired some shots, at the robotic bunnies.

The rabbits hop around the shots, with some getting hit directly. Glace starts to walk forward. "I'm here...We're all here... JUST STOP FIGHTING ALREADY!" Glace says, as she aims her sword to them, and rushes at them quickly.

Issac and Imogen sway from her attack, quickly. Glace then tumbles forward a bit catching herself, before falling to the ground. ("Urgh...Have to remember it's hard running on solid ground like this...") She then turns, gripping to Imogen quickly. She holds her sword to his neck.

"Okay...You got lucky avoiding me there, bro." She states, looking to Issac. "Heh... But I still have a doll. You have a chance to join up... Or I can give you a preview of how painful it can be." Glacetra states slyly.

"Let him go Demi, come on. Don't let Kaos run you. We can help you." Issac tried to reason with her.

Imogen gritted his teeth, to the blade at his throat. "Don't be stupid, you can't reason with them." He sweated a bit, looking to Issac.

Glacetra pushes Imogen to he ground, and steps on his back. He grunts in pain, as the ice needle foot of hers began to pierce his back. She looks to Issac, "Don't waste your time begging me to go back to that old life. This is much better, I get toys, and LOTS OF FRIENDS..." Glacetra says, looking back to Imogen, her face turning to a frown. "As for you...You blew up my rabbits...So I'm going to blow you up too. Then piece you back together into something more cute! Heh ha ha!"

"Get... off of me!" Imogen growled, gusting up, but it wasn't strong enough. He was in a lot of pain from her foot.

"Demi, stop it!" Issac tried to urge her.

Glacetra pulls out her hand, luring over one of her rabbits. She grabs it, and holds it down to Imogen's back. "What? I think you need to be talking to my bunny." She states as it begins to flash. "Huh? Bad rabbit!" Glace growls, jumping back from the rabbit.

Imogen's eyes widen a bit, and he tries to move. Before he could roll out from under the robot, it clicks, blowing up on top of him. Issac was in panic, as it erupted, with the screams of Imogen.

"Imogen!" Issac exclaimed in horror.

The explosion cleared, with Imogen laying on the ground. He was immensely shaken, his eyes in utter terror. His clothes were singed, still lit in places with flames, with his back exposed from the blast. His skin was burned down to the muscle over the entirety of his spine, and gradually lessened as it reached to his shoulders and hips. He was bleeding quite a bit however, and in excruciating pain.

Sheka screams in fear, "IMOGEN! OH MY GOSH!" She states, fighting the hold around her.

Lilly squeals in terror. "Noooooooo!"

A bullet flies, hitting Glacetra on the side of her head, it ricochet off, flying into a robot rabbit, exploding. She instantly turns her attention to Barret and Myde, flames in her eyes. "YOUR BULLET BLEW UP MY RABBIT!!!" She states furiously.

"Urgh, I-It didn't effect her!?" Barret gawks, reloading his gun.

"Worry about the the hostages, and leave her to me." Myde stated, forming her sword-staffs, and rushing at Glacetra.

Issac was shaken, and unable to do anything. "..."

Barret nods, acknowledging Myde's words, "Right." He then turns to Issac, "Issac!? Snap out of it!" He then spots Imogen, his face turning to fear, "Oh no, wait isn't that?"

Glacetra cackles, looking to Myde. "Ohhh cats. I always wanted a kitty doll. Sniper too...We'll see though. If you're still together after this, it will make things faster. Which makes me think." She looks to Imogen, "Huh? Why aren't you in pieces!?"

Myde reached her, knocking Glace back, with a hard swing of her swordstaff, ice coating the ground at her feet. "Pay attention!"

Glace flies back into a couple of trees. She then sits forward, rubbing her head. "Owwie....That hurt you big meanie!!!" Glace then elegantly gets back to her feet. "You know, looking at you now... I've always wanted a snowy pet... You may fit nicely."

"Demi! Knock it off! Come on! If the other dama units retrained memories, then I know you're still in there! You want me to be your big brother, don't you? Then let me help you!" Issac called out, finally snapping out of it. He was fighting back tears.

Glacetra laughs, "Man, you're a show... You believe everything people tell you? I was just looking for a way out of that problem. So, my past life I was a bit of ditz, when it came to things. I lied. To get you to get me out of that situation... So yes. I do remember... BUT. This, this is what I wanted... You're not being much of a big brother, to try and take me away from my new family. Heh, if I could even consider you that much. Besides that, who wants an older brother who's a cry baby?"

Issac was gritting his teeth, a tear going down his cheek. "Kaos is making you think that... you don't mean it... Come on... (Why'd I let myself get suckered into that?... Who would want me as a brother anyway?... I'm so stupid!)" He engaged his power glove, as he was slowly approaching.

Myde glanced to him briefly, as he reached her side.

"You keep lying to yourself Ice. Soon enough, the lie will grow so big, you won't be able to properly fit into a new body...." Glace says, preparing herself to fight again, "I mean wow, I really took you for a ride... Guess that's just how the world is though. You never know true colors, until they're under a different light."

"(Damn Issac...)" Barret thinks, turning his attention to Imogen soon after. "(We have to get him, and the others and go, as for this girl... Dang, Issac really seems connected to her... Is she the girl he mentioned before?)"

The rope holding Sheka and Lilly is suddenly cut, as the two fall into Todd's arms. Glace is struck hard with a blade, that was tossed her direction. It hits her into a couple of other trees, as Vash makes his way over. He reforms his sword in his hand, looking to the group. "Urgh, well got the sisters." Vash says, turning his attention back to Glacetra, who was shaking around on the ground.

"Y-Yeah...heh..We got them alright...(NICE JOB VASH! OHHH, YOU'RE SO GOOD!)" Todd says to himself.

Myde's ears were shifted their direction, as she glanced over. Issac turned to Vash, but he didn't look too thrilled. "You again. I was trying to help her, not hurt her! It's your stupid friend's fault she got captured in the first place!!" Issac snapped at Vash.

Vash pulls a finger to his ear, "Listen, I'm only here to protect these sisters. As for the girl there, she's reject ware. Nothing we can do about it right now... Not like you guys could do much either. Listen to me. Take them back to camp... I gotta take care of this..."

"Don't talk about her like she's some piece of hardware, she's a person in there! Same with the other dama units! We NEED to save them! I know you're somehow connected to Kaos, Vash. I will not stand by, and let you kill someone that I'm trying to save. So, take back your stupid hat!" Issac threw it at Vash, as he formed his saber. He had clear intent to fight Vash.

Vash bends down, picking up the hat. He then places it in his pocket. He looks back to Issac. "I guess you aren't the one who needs this after all... This is a big walk, to save people... I wasn't always one to go off killing people under shells like this. I GET IT! But don't jump down my throat about it. Kaos has corrupted people, taken things... It's all I know... Sometimes the worse answer may be the only way. You want to really fight for this girl? Knowing, good and well, from what Kaos did to her, could allow more problems to occur? Do you even have a plan B?"

"Someone's gotta stand up her, for the people taken. They didn't want this, I know that. So I have to fight to save them, and make things right. I know there has to be a way, there just has to be!" Issac protested.

"Might be, but until then... I gotta do what's needed now...Trust me. I know how things work..." Vash states, turning back to Glace, who was now on her feet.

"He he he...Director Vash...Kaos has been looking for you, and your comrades... I see you've also taken my new dolls... Oh well... I'll get you all back... In time... Hee hee, maybe then your skin will be even more perfect material than porcelain." Glacetra says, cackling before teleporting away.
