50 Tails of Crydon

"...It's over..." Barret says, letting out a sigh, he then walks over to Katinka, who looked really tired. Before he reached her however, she lost her balance, falling to the side as her eyes closed. Barret quickly rushes to her, and catches her, before she hits the ground. "Katinka!" He gasps, gripping to her tightly.

She was breathing still, but she must have used all her energy. Myde walked over, looking to them. "Let her rest. That battle back there, got fairly intense. I'm sure she's worn out." Myde said, her attention turning to Vehrik in the cell.

"You guys like, killed my date... Man this sucks... Just when she was getting nasty too." Vehrik says, picking wax from his ear, before licking it. "Her ugliness though, it was preserved for Vehrik."

Myde looked disgusted, "What should we do with him? I know he's not one to take my side as it is."

"Hmm...Well, we could take him back, and hold him for questioning, but it could be risky to the base..." Barret ponders, crossing his arms.

Myde held her chin, " I do have to agree. Maybe we can do something else with him."

"How about we just take him off your hands then?" Spoke a female voice, from a nearby tree. Sitting there was Cynder. "I'm sure you won't miss him. You always did find him vile, Myde."

"Cynder." Myde flared her teeth, as her tail's fluff stood up.

Dylan landed down, by the cell. He seemed to be wearing new attire, and even had what looked to be a power glove on. Hanging from his belt loop was his precious stuffed cat plus, Skratch. "Hey best buddy, is that you that smells like fart, or is that me?"

"Yep, it's me. No toilet, so I'm forced to use nature, to get my business done. Not that I mind. I find it pretty refreshing." Vehrik states proudly, as the two exchange a fist pump.

"Skratch thinks so too." Dylan giggled.

Barret growls, "We really don't need this now..."

Myde formed her sword staffs, but Cynder jumped down, activating her power glove. "Where's the fire, ice queen? You ready to settle the score?" Cynder licked her lips.

The two girls rushed at each other, with blades ready. They clashed, knocking back other back roughly.

"You both are filthy traitors!" Myde snarled.

"Correction, YOU'RE the traitor." Cynder casted flames around, but Myde rushed her, as she was coating the ground in ice. The two tumbled back, falling to the surface, as they fell through branches of leaves.

Cynder got knocked back, getting slashed by Myde. The more mature female was furious, and not letting up with the blows. However, as Myde was about to thrust vertically, Dylan had gotten in the way of the attack, using a power glove to deflect the blow best he could. He did sustain damage though, a cut slit down his face.

"Dally." Cynder winced a bit in concern.

Dylan chuckled, "I may be a damned healer, but I won't let you hurt Cyndy, Myde." Dylan kept his gaze on her.

"Don't be foolish, Dylan." Myde hissed.

"That's just it, I am a fool." Dylan smirked, as he stuck out his tongue. "There's no changing that."

Up top, the cage had been cut open, by his power glove; moments before he deflected the attack. Vehrik was absent from the cell. He was now standing above them on a branch. Vehrik places a hand into one of his pockets, "There's also no changing how dirty you really have to get, when fighting us... So, you're a traitor now?" He says, jumping from the branch in Myde's direction quickly. He arches his hand back smashing into the ground, kicking up sharp rocks in Myde's path.

Myde spun her sword staffs, slicing the rocks into bits. She leered to the three ferline that were now preparing to engage her.

"Myde! Grr... (I'm too damaged to do anything!)" Barret thought to himself, wincing in pain.

Myde was surrounded, with all three ready to strike. Cynder rushed with her power glove, slashing Myde, and Dylan swung from the opposite end. The two blades struck Myde in unison, blowing back her weapons, as well as knocking her hard to the ground. She was on her back, with cuts to her arms. Three on one, the odds just weren't in her favor.

"Urgh..." Myde tried to shift from her back.

Vehrik walks closer to Myde, he swirls up some saliva in his mouth, and spits on her. "Hey, guys? When we win, can I make her into like a spit jar? I mean look, it even slides down her the right way." Vehrik mocked, preparing to hack a loogie.

"You're right Vehrik. Nice!" Dylan chuckled in amusement.

"You can do whatever you want, even a corpse to fuck if you like." Cynder licked her fang.

The spit on Myde crystallized into ice, as the ground started to frost slightly. She was flaring her teeth.

Vehrik quirks a brow, keeping his lazy, uncaring expression, "Eh? Hey stop turning my filth into art. You think you're funny or something?"

"..." Myde was growling.

"Ooooh! Light-bulb!~" Dylan sing-songed.

"You got an idea. Dally?" Cynder grinned.

"Yep. Oh wait... Nope, I lost it." Dylan sweat dropped.

"Dork. Just leave her to me." Cynder grinned. "Unless you boys wanna have an orgy or something."

"Would have preferred the fat chick, but she's wood now." Vehrik shrugged.

"Wood? Like got wood?" Dylan peered over.

"No-no, like turned into a tree. A Trent-ferline." Vehrik sighed.

"Oh." Dylan looked confused.

"So much for that then." Cynder was crouching down over Myde, with a devilish grin.

Barret grips himself forward a little, "Leave her alone! You have him... So take him, and go, he is what you came here for, right?" He called out to them.

Cynder turned her attention to Barret, "Sure Dally wanted his friend, but I wanted to have some fun. One of your's killed our leader for being a 'traitor', and so, we're gonna kill for the same reason. It's only fair." she held a fireball in her hand, eyes gazing back down to Myde. "Fire beats ice. Get ready to melt." She smirked to Myde.

There was an odd sound, as sudden darkness slashed Cynder forward. She flew into Dylan, as the two slammed to a distance, rolling from the impact. It happened so fast, that even Vehrik didn't see it from his view. A dark claw was what caught by his eyes by now, right as it grabbed him by the neck, to lift him into the air. The sudden movement made his vision a bit foggy, but clearly he saw Cravic glaring to him from his one eye.

"You and you're friends have a death wish?" Cravic threatened, gripping tight, as the darkness spiraled around him.

Vehrik begins to laugh nervously, "H-hey, cool off man. We were just playing...N-nothing to make a stink about..."

Myde was struggling to shift still, but she noticed Cravic, her eyes on him. Cravic however was focused on the threats, even the two getting to their feet. He flung Vehrik at the two, knocking them back hard once again. His eye was glowing with rage by now. Cynder kept back with the boys, getting to their feet.

"I think it's about time we left." Cynder said, taking some steps back cautiously, as Dylan kept her.

"Yeah, I don't want to know what he's thinking..." Dylan was unnerved.

Vehrik nods in agreement, "Yep...Thanks for breaking me out guys, but I am not up to getting broken by some Necroden."

"Ditto, man." Dylan seconded Vehrik's statement.

The three ferlines quickly fled into the brush, in near panic. Cravic released his shadow claw ability, letting it shift to his normal arm, before crouching down to pick Myde up. "..." He was looking to her wounds.

"I thought... you left." Myde winced.

"Don't worry about that right now." Cravic stated, forming his wings, to fly her up to where Barret and Katinka were. He sat her down, before tying some torn clothing around her arms.

"Cravic... I never expected you to show up... It's good to see you." Barret says, surprised by Cravic's presence.

"Am I ever predictable?" Cravic remarked, as he finished covering the wounds. "You might want this." Cravic tossed Barret a bottle.

Barret smiles, "Thanks..." he says, looking to the bottle. "Yeah, I guess you aren't. For that, I'm thankful."

"Would be wise to camp here for the night, so everyone's wounds can heal." Cravic sat to the ground.

Myde was laying down, slightly touching her arms, where the infliction occurred, her eyes kept glancing to Cravic though.

"Yeah, that would be for the best." Barret states, rubbing Katinka's head. "You know, after today's conflicts. It really spoke to me more on just, how powerful Elementar are... When Katinka first fought you, she wasn't nearly as powerful, as what I had witnessed here. Then seeing you do all of this? It's amazing... I want you to keep your head up though, use that power you have to help those who just can't... I know Katinka will out live me, well then most Elementar will. I just want you, and others to keep doing what you can..."

"You sound like a old man on his death bed." Cravic scoffed, looking somewhat amused.

Barret laughs, "Well, I hope I'm not that close, but, It's the truth, so."

Cravic glanced back to Myde, moving his hand to remove the iced spit from her face. She didn't say anything, due to the fatigue, but she seemed surprised by it. "Keep worrying like that, and you're bound to slip up." Cravic glanced to Barret, as he flicked away the spit.

Barret laughs nervously, "Yeah good point... By the way, you really have done a good job with Myde."

"Hm?" Cravic looked to Barret, with a quirked brow.

Myde was blushing a bit, looking off. "(Barret, what is wrong with you?... Just because I turned you down... Don't push him away...)"

"Oh, just noticing how well you patched her up. It's quite a good job, honestly." Barret states, smiling.

"Hmph." Cravic scoffed a bit, averting his eyes.

Barret sweat drops, "Heh, hmm.." He groans, laying back on the ground.

Cravic got up to his feet, looking to the wilderness. "Might as well get something for you guys to eat. I'll be back." He faded off into darkness.

Barret turns to where Cravic had left, "He's really got that power down."

Elsewhere, Issac's party had arrived back at base. With Nari and Kirb, he entered Medatros's office, after Witchhazel disappeared off into the base.

"Hey, we're back, boss." Issac knocked on the open door, peering over to the man at the desk.

Medatros turns his sights on Issac, stepping forward. "It's good to see you again, so, how did the mission progress?"

Issac scratched the back of his head, laughing uneasily. "Well, not the greatest. You see, the Zodiac got away with pirates... and uh..."

Nari was about to state something, when Lucina pushes passed her roughly. "Non non non. I asked for you to take me back to my humble abode. Not to this, whatever this is. " She says, taking out a manual fan, to cool herself off.

"Who might this be?" Medatros inquired.

"That'd be Lucina. She kind of made us take her back with us. She's out of control." Issac sweat dropped, crossing his arms with a sigh.

"Second that." Kirb muttered.

"She hit Kirby in the face, because he wasn't a gentleman. I agree with Issac, she's out of control." Nari states, crossing her arms.

"Anyway, we can send her back to Raviana, or something? Get her out of everyone's hair?" Issac's brow twitched slightly.

Medatros quirks a brow, "Wait, looking at her more closely, my gosh, are you the dictator of Raviana?"

"Oui Oui, that is correct mon chérie." Lucina says, smiling.

Kirb gave her a sudden look, he appeared shocked, but not in a good way. He turned off with a scoff. "I'm out. If you need me, I'll be sleeping." He huffed, leaving in a hurry.

Issac glanced back, in confusion. "What was that about?... So uh. Can you send her back, boss man?" He looked back to Medatros.

Nari had turned to where Kirb left. She was felt worried, and turns back to Medatros. "Yeah can you send her back?"

"Do I hear an echo in here?" Issac teased.

Nari giggles, as Lucina turns her attention to the two of them. "You both act as if I am some entity from another plane."

Medatros sighs, "Yes, I will make arrangements to have her transported back to her planet. As soon as possible."

"Oui? You shall make a way for me now." Lucina states, crossing her arms with her eyes shut.

Medatros shakes his head, "I'm sorry, but transpiration takes time. There is a war happening right now. So, I will not rush this."

"You old imbecile, do you not know who I am? I SAID NOW." Lucina demanded.

Nari sighs, "You're not on your planet, so you have to play by the rules, you over zealous wretch of an Usa."

"Oh! Pardon moi, mon chérie, but you still have to fix that abomination, you call a hair cut." Lucina states, fanning herself.

"Ladies?" Issac looked between them uneasily.

Nari growls, "I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU INTO AN EXPLODING RABBIT! TIE YOU UP ONTO STRINGS AND..." She takes a deep breath. "I'm sorry about that... Medatros, the mission played out good. Thanks to my invention, the Jammer. We were able to handle things more easily...There were pirates, but as Issac said, they got away."

Medatros nods, "I see, well good work. Please go rest... I shall deal with our, 'visitor' here."

"Have fun with that." Issac waved off with two fingers, as he stepped into the hallway, followed by Nari.

"sacré bleu!" Lucina groans, as Nari pulls the door shut.

"Jeez, that thing...Yeah I said it. I'm not referring to 'it' as an Usa. How in the world can you be so? Just stuck up!? Not to mention a dictator of all things? Grr... I like rabbits, but she's where I pull the plug." Nari states, still obviously agitated from the situation.

The two were walking down the hall, as Issac glances over to Nari. "Dude, seriously. After we got on the ship, she would NOT shut up. I can tolerate a lot of things, but that chick is insane."

Nari nods in agreement. "Yeah, reminds me of some Kaos scientist I had to deal with. Always being right about this and that, when in fact I was the one to help create things. Urgh, I can never catch a break. Anyways, I'm going to check on Kirb, he seemed really bothered by that... Bitch." She says, heading off away from Issac.

"Well okay... wait, WHAT!!?" Issac gawked, but Nari had already turned the corner.

Some time elapses, as Nari reaches Kirb's room, opening the door. she had some food with her. "Kirb? Are you in?" She inquires, looking around.

As she peered inside, she noticed Kirb laying on his bed, there was a large stuffed panda he was propped up against, like a pillow. His earphones were in however, blaring so loud he hadn't noticed her come in. He had his arms behind his head, and his eyes closed.

Nari shuts the door behind her, then makes her way to Kirb's bed. She sets the food down on a end table. Then she turns to Kirb, and sits next to him. "Kirb?" she inquired.

The sound of his music was still out powering her voice, but he noticed her, as she sat down beside him. He jumped slightly, looking to her in surprise, before taking out his earphones. "Don't sneak up on me like that. What is it?"

Nari giggles, "I was just checking on you. Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. You're kind of cute when you're scared." She teases.

Kirb narrowed his eyes, "What I say, about calling me that?"

Nari nods, "I'm sorry, I guess though that bitch rabbit really got on your nerves, huh? I wish we could have left her back there."

"Hmph, not as if it wasn't expected." He scoffed a bit, looking off.

"Well, with how she was going about things, yeah... So you're from Raviana though, how exactly do those dictators work? I know that could be another reason you stormed off." Nari inquired to Kirb.

Kirb's eyes panned to Nari. "I'm not from Raviana, at least as far as I'm concerned."

Nari tilts her head in confusion, "Huh? Wait, but if you're not from Raviana...Thinking...You don't really seem very tech savvy. Most from that planet are extremely into technology, you're more subtle and calm, like a cat. A Ferline..." She says, placing a hand to her chin.

Kirb sighed, leaning back a bit. "That's cause I grew up on Crydon. Not sure how much you know about 'Usas', but let's just say, when families overpopulate, they take away some, and send these 'orphans' to other planets, to let whoever do whatever with them. Dictators and their laws."

Nari gasps, "Wait, are you saying you were taken from your family? Given to the Ferlines? Urgh..." She gasps, holding a hand to her head. "It makes a lot of sense now."

Kirb looked off again, "Pretty much. Not like Usa's ever need to adopt kids, they can't keep their pants on to stop having them...."

Nari hugs to Kirb. "I'm sorry... I can't imagine being pulled away, and being around a lot of people, or a race that isn't your own..(Kind of like what I was apart of being in Kaos... All those projects... People that went missing... I don't know what I'd do if something happened to my sister.)"

He looked to her, but didn't struggle. "It wasn't that bad, well... they trained me from when I was really little. Kinda cool being an assassin, but the Ferlines have their own rules..."

Nari nods, "I see. I wonder, did you have anyone you were really close with? Or waiting for you back there? I mean thinking, it's possible you could have found that someone. I'm sorry as well, if you do have that already." She said, still hugging him.

"Ferlines have restrictions against inner-species relationships. So, even if I had liked someone, they'd never go for me. Why bother anyway? I don't need to deal with rejection along with abandonment, and being outcasted like some emotionless soldier. Wherever." Kirb replied, glancing a bit to Nari.

"Oh? Wow, you had to be really lonely, not only being taken from your planet, but not being able to even become attached? Urgh, the more I think about it. It pisses me off." Nari growls.

"Eh, as long as I get to shoot stuff, I'm good. So, it's fine." Kirb shrugged. "Comfy there?" He glanced her way, unfazed.

Nari gasped, realizing she was still hugging to Kirb. She quickly releases him, laughing slightly, "S-Sorry heh...I guess I got a little carried away....Unless you were o-okay with it.."

Kirb sat up, looking to her still. "You're weird." He kind of smirked to her.

Nari blushes, "Oh, well heh... None of us are normal....Uhhh heh....." She shakily sits down on Kirb's bed. "Uh..."

Kirb reached his hand to her face, moving her bangs slightly, as he kept his gaze on her. He seemed to be analogizing her responses a bit. Nari peered up, looking into Kirb's eyes, she leans closer to him. Kirb leaned to her as well, pressing his lips against hers. Nari's eyes widen in surprise, as she follows up with the kiss. They both fall back in the bed, while Kirb had his hand to her face, as he continued to kiss her. After a brief few moments, they broke for air. Kirb was looking to Nari, as he opened his eyes.

Nari giggles, "That was unexpected..." She says, still taken off guard, but was clearly feeling really good.

"Heh, I'm full of surprises. Not like anyone expects a rabbit assassin." He chuckled, leaning back to his panda.

"Purr." Nari jokes, "I feel you there. I hope you keep on surprising me then."

"Always makes things more interesting anyway." He closed his eyes, smirking.

"Yeah... Interesting." Nari sits up, "Oh yeah...Well, I know a lot about you now, but...You don't know much about me.." She says, nervously.

"Shoot then, I'm listening." He opened one eye, looking to her as his ears perked up.

Nari sighs, "Well... I'm not exactly human... I'm a Necroden, and seeing how those kinds of elementar are bad news. It finally hit me, that things could get weird. Especially with mixing. Where I come from, it's not tolerated, but I'm not there anymore, so it doesn't matter... I just worry about you, or me getting sick from things... Damn it, why of all times, does sense kick in?"

"So what if you're a Necroden? Back where I'm from they got rules too, but rules don't exactly apply to someone who doesn't worry about them. So fuck 'em." Kirb sat back up, looking to her. "Generally the ones who get sick, have low immune systems, or stuff like that. Usa's have high tolerance, so don't worry about me. I would worry more about you, honestly."

Nari nods giggling, "You're right about that, besides if I let everything hold me back, then what's worth fighting for? I'm happy this is working out, and nothing will stop that... I hope."

Kirb's ears shift slightly, as he put his hand to her face, looking to her with a raised brow. "Don't worry about it."

Nari gasps, "A-Alright!" She says, becoming excited. "Oh, so with that out of the way, about that bitch. You did that back there to protect me, didn't you?" She says, looking to Kirb.

"And I thought I was more sneaky about that." Kirb bit his tongue a bit, jokingly.

Nari giggles, "I kind of figured, you're becoming easy to read Kirby, I think we'll have to work on it a bit. Being secretive is important." She says, hugging back around him.

"Hey, I've kept things to myself without hassle since ever. You just keep pestering to get things out of me if you really wanna know something." He smirked, with a raised brow.

"Heh, well, I do have a habit of getting my way." Nari joked, adding in a laugh.

"More like a habit of bugging this rabbit." Kirb jested, kissing to her forehead.

Nari blushes even more, rubbing her face into his chest. "Mmm..."

"There is gonna be one issue though, I think." Kirb mentioned, sitting back up straight.

"Huh? Another issue? What?" Nari inquired.

"I don't exactly get along with your sister's dragon boy. I honestly can't figure out how that even happened. Last I knew, she was obsessed about her robot." Kirb tugged to one of his earrings.

"Oh well, they've known each other for quite a while now. Maybe I should explain everything to you. We've got time, besides I think it's best if we're straight forward with each other." Nari says smiling.
