An audience is heard clapping as it centers around a stage, there were many studio lights hanging on the ceiling, the audience was blackened around the location, as two people sat in tan chairs with a brown table between them. The man who sat on the right, was wearing a green plaid tuxedo with a pink bow tie, over a white button-up shirt. He had purplish orange eyes with ginger colored hair. In the other seat was what appeared to be a teenage girl, with brunette hair and brown eyes. She had cat shaped goggles around her neck, and wore a deep purple trench coat with a hood. She had lots of belts and buckles, with a plaid skirt and black boots. The back of her coat has a skull emblem positioned between her shoulder blades.

"Welcome to the BRYCE GEIST SHOW! I'm your host Bryce Geist! Today's topic, views on that 'ever so loving' cooperation, KAOS. We have with us, a scientist who had some experience working with materials they handle. Today, we're going to get a pretty in depth look at how it all works. So, allow me to introduce today's guest, Nyeyomi Valvosta!" Says Bryce the host of the show, in an eccentric manner.

The audience applauds, as the girl looks to Bryce. "Nice to formerly meet you. Though, did I detect sarcasm in your previous statement?" Nyeyomi inquired, crossing her legs, with a smirk.

Bryce leans back in his chair as he intertwines his fingers. "Well, knowing my previous shows and all that. You have a pretty good idea of how I factor that company. I honestly don't like their policies, and half, if not all my audience, would agree. They're just not cut out to compete with the humans. I mean I hate to get off topic here, but how many humans are really working under that place anyway? I feel a bit of diversity would be good. Though you've had some pleasure working with some of their products. Can you tell us about you experiences?"

"I have quite the compendium of memories to say the least. As a human, working with a primarily Elementar driven organization, I can't say I had too much concerns. I mostly worked on projects leading to the development of 'dama units', and devices built to ensure the safety of humans." Nyeyomi explained. "However, I do feel your views are a bit biased, since you are so open to proclaim them before even remotely waiting on hearing my opinion. Isn't this an interview about me, not yourself?" She tilted her head with a devilish smirk, as if playing with him.

"Hey, this is my show. I'm allowed to do that, aren't I?" Bryce jests, as the audience laughs at his comment. " I assure you, I am not hammering your views. I just have a habit of expressing my thoughts. I will say, that bit about the dama units sounds interesting. What is this about them making things more safe for humans?" Bryce says, shifting in his seat a little keeping his smile.

Nyeyomi adjusts her shades, turning a bit to face Bryce better. "Funny. Well, since you are curious. Kaos wants to help unite people, and make peace. With their technology, streets will be safer, stores won't loose profit, wars halted. It's pretty self explanatory. Yet, people still get controversial due to the race differences. On the contrary, I'm human, and I don't have issues corroborating with the elementar."

Bryce sighs to himself, "Yet we still have people vanishing out of no where. What do you make of the recent rumor, about the girl Nala who went missing? They said it was around the 'so called' Jumper units, which were made for that very reason. Security. Now not to jump the gun, but if these bug out and this rumor turns out to be true. What kinds of repercussions does the organization have?"

"Funny thing about rumors, ninety nine percent of the time, they are false instigations proclaimed from people who obsess over propaganda, such as yourself. The recent disappearances could easily be from other occurrences, such as gangs, cults, or potentially even just runaways. Kaos could help find the missing people, yet there are individual like yourself, who are so quick to point the finger at them or the elementar, just because of what they are. Isn't it true, that you yourself, are half elementar and half human? or am I mistaken?" Nyeyomi leaned to her chair's armrest, looking sharply to Bryce, with a playful smirk.

The audience gasps. Bryce swallows a bit, nervously,"Hey, all I hear coming out of your mouth is Kaos, Kaos, Kaos. I don't hear any information about how to solve the issue if their machines were to go bonkers! Besides, I may be half, but I'm no hypocrite. You're on this show talking about the things Kaos makes. What are you hiding Ms. Valvosta?" He says trying to keep calm.

"I do believe it was you who invited me here to talk about Kaos, and inquired about what they do. I am merely giving you the answer to your inquiry. Just because it's not the one you wanted, doesn't mean I am hiding anything. I do however wonder, why invite a 'former' employee of Kaos to you're show, instead of getting someone more well known from them? Could it be perhaps that you are hiding something, or maybe your audience just watches for how idiotic and pretentious you sound, over the actual content. Perhaps the genre of your show should be labeled 'comedy' instead." Nyeyomi replied, leaning back in the chair, seeming completely calm.

"I AM VERY INFORMATIVE!" Bryce shouted.

"It's merely conspiracy gossip you're spouting, not deducing anything more than a scandal to increase your ratings." Nyeyomi looked to him, unamused.

"Urgh, I must keep my composure, but I think from this talk, you're giving me all I need to know. My reason however for inviting a less known, former worker, is protection. Granted a lot of them want this stupid man off the air. I can-" Bryce is cut off, by a person signalling him for a commercial."Oh! Ladies and Gents, it's time for a commercial break! We'll be right back." Bryce could see some people walking out of the show. "(Are you serious!?)" Bryce thinks to himself shooting a glare at Nyeyomi.

A commercial advertisement featuring cat food played on the floating virtual screen of the television, as Issac was watching the show from a cafeteria seat in the back. He rested his chin to his palm, looking off. "This interview is getting pretty hectic..." Issac closes his eyes, exhaling softly, "At least the guest is hot." He mutters to himself, eating a chip from his bag.

The cafe for field workers wasn't crowded like the one for the grunts, so Issac practically had the place to himself, as he sat there.

Barret walks in and looks over, spotting Issac. "Issac!" Barret yells, waving to him as he walked over. "How are you feeling? It's good to see you up and moving again."

"Hm?" Issac opened his eyes, sleepily looking to Barret. "Oh... Hey, Barret... What's up?"

"I was on my way to pick up my sister. I thought to have you come along with me. I have to keep an eye on you..." Barret says proudly, placing a hand on Issac's shoulder.

Issac perked up, "Did yous say 'sister'?" He smirked deviously.

Barret nods to Issac. "Yes, MY Sister, whom you'll be staying away from, mind you." Barret says smiling.

Issac sighed, leaning back to his palm once again. "Why bring me along, if you're not going to let me be around her? Throw me a bone, would ya?"

"Issac, I barely know anything about you, keep in mine that you and I are still getting to know each other. Please. You'll need to be tested." Barret jokes, placing a hand in his pocket. "But it will be quite a hard trial." Barret says, looking to Issac, forming a stern scary expression.

Issac shivered slightly, "Dude..."

"The trial will be long, but if you manage to over come it...You will win my blessing." Barret says cracking a smile. "Soooo? Do you accept MY challenge?"

Issac's eyes narrowed as he grinned. "There is no way I'm gonna back down from a challenge, bud. You're on!"

Barret extends his hand to Issac. "Upon shaking my hand, you agree by all my rules of the trial. (This way I can get information that he's been hiding.)"

Issac shakes his hand, "Let's go meet your sister."

Barret nods, turning off to the exit. "We'll take the cruiser back to New Tech. From there we'll head over to the valley district."

"Valley district? I'm not too familiar with New Tech." Issac pocketed his hands as he jumped to his feet. "(Just as long as he keeps his nose out of my business, things should be fine...)"

"Oh, it's where most the vals around New Tech pop up. My sister is well, purely val." Barret says, walking to the door.

"Val? Okay, no idea what that means, but let's go!" Issac exclaimed excitedly, as he began making his way to the cruiser's location.

Barret laughs to himself as walks after Issac. "(By the end of today, I will know what you're keeping to yourself, my friend.)"

Some time elapses as the two ride the cruiser over to New tech. Once they arrive, it was bustling like usual around.

"Lead the way, man." Issac said, looking to Barret, as they exited the transportation. His eyes caught the tall buildings as they progressed a bit.

Barret nods, "It should be this way." They walk across a street passing a computer building known as Serenity Tech. Barret looks over to it.

"Hmm, we have to get a new computer from there pretty soon." Barret states, to himself turning his attention back to the sidewalk. "We should be close though."

Issac looks to the computers, "Cool. So. You're really into gadgets and doo-dads, huh?"

"Ah yes, speaking of which. I will be creating my own little scouter. A handy little tool to scan those units." Barret says looking ahead of them.

"How do you plan to do that? It sounds pretty complex." Issac mentioned.

"My sister and I are kind of engineers. I don't mention it too much, but it is on my list of qualifications." Barret says, smiling.

"No wonder you come off as a nerd at times. Guess we both have our own strengths and weaknesses." Issac put his arms behind his head, as they continued.

"Yep, which begs to question. What are your good traits?" Barret says, turning to Issac.

"Uh... Good question.(He's digging... I should have figured this was an excuse to get info out of me...)" Issac laughed hesitantly. "I uh, I guess I'm not too bad with acting...." Issac looked off, as if in thought. "... blame that on my love for Shakespearean literature..."

"It better be good acting to get over this trail." Barret teased, adding in a laugh. "But that's not a bad trait, it has proved pretty useful s far. I think if we got into any big pickles you could use that to your advantage. It's all about life with traits at times, so." Barret states waiting at a hovering cross walk.

"... Yeah...." Issac seemed a bit distant.

"What's on your mind?" Barret asked to Issac. "Tell me about who Issac is."

Issac kept his focus to a distance, "Gonna take away the deal if I don't tell you, right?" Issac sighed. "You're using this as an excuse to get me to open up... I know that."

Barret nods. " You hit the nail on the head, my friend."

Issac grimaced, trying to smile, as he looked off, averting his eyes. "I really don't feel comfortable talking about me, I mean, I'm not that interesting."

"Come on Issac, I opened up to you." Barret looked to the other, trying to gently get the details out.

"I'm pretty skeptical about people, alright. I haven't exactly had the best experiences, I mean... aside from all the moving around a lot. All the private schools... I never had any friends before...not like I didn't try... It's just...everyone would turn around and bully me..." Issac glanced over briefly.

Barret put his hand to Issac's shoulder, "Listen, you can trust me alright. We're getting to be friends, so opening up more helps people feel more at ease. It's alright. You can trust me."

Issac sighed, a bit irritated."...I felt outcasted at school, and even in my own home. I pushed myself to get good grades in school, still it was like I wasn't there. I did everything I was asked to do, and Nothing.... Sometimes kids get... well, lack of a better word, creative when they want to get their parents' attention. Good grades didn't work, so I used my acting class's costume make up and skills to uh... well, fake killing myself." Issac kept his eyes averted.

"Wait, hold up Issac, you did what?" Barret was in shock.

"(This was a bad idea...)" Issac kept silent.

"Issac..." Barret was unsure what to say now.

"..." Issac exhaled, "That's not even the tip of the iceberg... First time, I scared the crap out of my mom, and she was freaked enough to call the emergency hot line. Once they realized I was alright, I was grounded for like a month. Dad was pissed off like nobody's business... but, I liked that they acknowledged me, even though it was in a bad way. It became a bit of a hobby, to the point my parents got used to it, like it was routine...."

Barret was staring to Issac, listening to him. This was hard for him to grasp.

"...Eventually, I... started to actually hurt myself. Like a boy crying wolf, they thought the blood was fake, and ignored me. I ended up crashing in the bathtub, expecting to bleed out. Guess, I didn't cut myself bad enough, because I didn't die..." Issac glanced to Barret, hesitantly.

"Issac, don't tell me..." Barret was struggling to find the words.

Issac closed his eyes, and nodded solemnly. "I ... have severe depression, and suicidal thoughts, as well as tendencies.... Happy..? This is why I didn't want to bring things up... It's hard enough to keep my head clear on things..." Issac kept his eyes away from Barret. "I was going to kill myself the day I happened to Xiao's conference, when she was scouting for recruits. I thought... maybe it would be a better route... but I don't know..."

"Urgh, what a mess that is... So, your acting became just too good... I'm more happy than ever you got in here, I think I finally understand it. I'm also sorry about your past... You've jumped up a good couple points for the trial though. If it helps, remember, There's always something to live for in life. Even if parents aren't that answer. Okay?" Barret says, patting Issac on the shoulder.

Issac glanced to him a bit surprised, but looked off again. "I am... trying, putting on a false face even... (I need to stop talking about this... I don't want to get any more in depth than I already have...)"

"I know you had it rough, but lets not have that bring you down. I'm sorry again, Issac. Honestly though, I can't imagine how much you've been hiding behind that smile, but for sure, it proves even through tough situations, you can manage to keep a cool demeanor. Which in turn could be a sign of a fresh start. " Barret says, to Issac seriously.

"I hope you're right, man..." Issac pocketed his hands.

"Hey, you remember that girl Nala, right? What are we doing here? We're working at keeping the attention on stopping things like that, correct? You have one reason there to look into." Barret says, grinning to Issac.

Issac sighed,"Protecting people is good yeah, though we need to make sure they don't get kidnapped.... Buuuut." Issac looked to Barret, smiling a bit. "Saving damsels in distress? Now that's a thought. Maybe we should take the party right to those thugs, and save Nala."

Barret thinks to himself. "That's not a bad idea." Barret says, confidently.

"Then what's stopping us? We know where they're at, so let's crash their little gathering." Issac insisted, grinning.

"Director Xiao...I don't think she'd be thrilled about us taking off like ravaging barbarians to Kaos's front door." Barret says, chucking a little.

Issac crossed his arms, sighing. "Right, let's not piss her off. She's pretty scary when she's angry...."

Barret laughs, "Yes,yes very true." The two continue walking to their destination. They get to Barret's house,it was a hovering trailer, which sat beside a pond and other trailers around. "Well, here we are, still looks as I remember it. I wonder if my parts are still in the back?"

"Things change that fast around here? it's been like what, two weeks?" Issac looked to the taller boy.

"Issac my boy, a lot can happen in two weeks, but you're already getting out and facing the world. Come on, my sister is right inside." Barret says, walking up knocking on the door.

Issac follows after. Soon the door opens, and out looks a blond haired, teen-aged girl. She wore very retro attire, full of colors, and her hair held in a side pony tail. She smiled, hugging to Barret, squeezing him tight. "Like oh my gosh! Barry! You're like so here. I am like totally super stoked to see your new job and stuff." She giggles strangely, as she pops a gum bubble. She glances noticing Issac. Sandra let go of Barret, looking to Issac. "Like, whose your friend, Barry? He like needs a hair cut, but he's not too grody. Kinda cute, but not super bodacious."

"Oh heh, this is Issac, he works with me back at the organization! I thought to bring him by to meet you before we headed back." Barret states to Sandra.

"Oh, that's rad. Like hi, I'm Sandra, one of Barry's half sisters." Sandra smiled to Issac.

"Nice to meet you, Sandra." Issac smiles to her, taking her hand to kiss it.

Sandra giggles, "Like oh my gosh! That's like so cute, he's like one of those guys in those movies I watch. How bitch'n, like I'm so sure. Barry, Barry, did you like bring him because you're like so match making?"

Barret forms a sweat drop. "Nooot exactly...(This is bad...) Perhaps we should make our way back to the cruiser. Sandra? Do you have everything?"

Sandra was too busy giggling as she looked to Issac, who had released her hand. Sandra glanced back briefly, "Like what? My stuff? Oh right! Like hang on, let me go grab it." Sandra scurried back into the trailer.

Issac glanced to Barret.

"Minus one point. You don't kiss her hand." Barret says sternly. " However, I'll go easy on you. You do have a way with woman... Surprisingly my heart stopped a bit." Barret says, laughing to himself.

Issac scratched the back of his head, "Oh sorry. It's a force of habit, private schools... gotta love how they really like getting classy."

"You have learned quite a lot, but yes keep that in mind around her." Barret says, looking off to the trailer park around them. "You know, I ponder sometimes, How long do you think all of this will be here?" Barret states to Issac, still taking in the location with his eyes.

Issac looks around, "Not sure, you did say things change pretty frequently. (Everything will eventually turn to ash... nothing gonna stop that...)"

"Yeah, well while we're in the present, we'll just work at making sure those changes are good. By that. I don't mean my sister." Barret states slyly.

Issac held his hands up, "Yeesh, okay-okay, I'll lay off your sis."

In Issac's mind, Barret could be seen in the distance laughing a snake tongue flickering out of his mouth. "That's riiight." Fire now escaping from behind him.

Issac sighed, looking off from his imagination. Sandra returned to them with a pile of suit cases. "I hope I'm like not missing anything important. That wouldn't be stellar. So Like, where's the car? I thought this was going to be like a road trip back to your place, Barry."

"...Heh..I forgot to tell you we have quite a walk..Bu-" Barret says, but was interrupted.

Issac walked over, taking some of the suit cases, "Let me get those for you."

"OOOOH! Such a gentleman, like for sure. You're super nice." Sandra giggled.

"No problem." Issac chuckled.

"(Hmm, well I suppose I'll let this continue for now.) We should make tracks, you two. Chop-chop" Barret says, walking ahead of them.

"But Barry! You're not going to make me carry this, like are you? Oh my gosh." Sandra pouted.

Issac grabbed the ones she had, "Come on." Issac smiled, following after Barret. "(This isn't so bad... for now...)"

"Oh? Taking charge? That's worth an extra point, and here I thought I was going to have to beg you." Barret says, sarcastically.

"Love the sarcasm, chief." Issac jested back.

Sandra kept up with them, "Barry, that's like so mean. Stop being a bully to Issac, like right now."

Barret turns to Sandra, " I'm curious as to why? You should be happy a man is willing to carry your luggage. Even if it bears so much pain on his body. You can do it Issac, I have faith in you." Barret joked.

"You're being like a jerk though. I never hear you talk like this, Barry." Sandra crossed her arms.

"Don't worry about it, Sandra. I'm getting used to it." Issac grinned. "(He's not as bad as the bullies I dealt with in the past at least...)"

"Like, you're so sweet. You like put up with him." Sandra giggled.

"Yes, yes. He does put up with me." Barret says, leaning on Issac. "So, I think we'll take this short cut. It should cut down the time getting back to the cruiser." Barret says slyly.

Issac laughed, with a sweat drop. "Why do I have a feeling this 'short cut' is actually the scenic route? (Don't be a dick dude.)"

"Come on you two, we must make haste." Barret says walking off ahead of them.

They were soon on route to the cruiser and was passing a bridge, leading beside a view of a river. Barret takes in some air looking back to them.

"Isn't this great? I told you this would be a good route to take." Barret stated proudly.

Issac looked to Barret, from behind the stack of suitcases. "Yeah... fantastic.." He muttered, sarcastically. "(I knew it... come on man... you forced me to open up, now this?...)"

Sandra was falling behind however, "Like OH my gosh... BARRY! This is so bogus! Like why didn't you tell me I shouldn't like wear my pumps? My feet are like totally killing me, like for sure. They're going to be all grody, like man feet, I mean, Like, I just got a mani and a pedi. So like, not righteous. Oww..." She whined.

Issac looked to her, with an expression showing he was concerned. He then glanced to Barret. "Dude, I kinda, maybe get torchering me, (No, actually, no I don't!) but come on, you're doing this to your own sis?"

Barret crosses his arms forming a sly smirk. "Now remember, we are still in the testing phases. Are you already giving up Issac?" Barret says, looking back them.

"I'm carrying like five suitcases, that weigh a ton. If I carried Sandra too, I'd break my back.... (not like I'd mind that...)" Issac laughed uneasily.

"BARRET!" Sandra shouted.

Barret looks back to Sandra, "Oh, hmm Issac? You want to carry her for me?" Barret says, laughing to himself. "I'm sure you can handle it."

"Dude, did you not freak'n hear anything I said?" Issac gawked. "(Okay, questioning why I told you anything at all, dude. This isn't cool.)"

"Oww." Sandra whined.

"A girl is hurting, and you're not wanting to aid her? I don't know. I feel the numbers dropping from your score here. Sandra? Don't worry we're almost there, okay? I suppose Issac still needs more time when it comes to choices." Barret says, as he continues walking forward.

"Dude, I would NOT mind carrying her, but you'd have to help carry some of these, if that's the case. I'm only human." Issac stated, looking over with narrowed eyes.

Barret looks ahead spotting the parking garage. "Well, I thought you'd never ask. However, we're nearly there now." Barret says, turning around. He walks and picks up Sandra. "I'll help you out Sandra. Keep trucking Issac, you're doing great." Barret says, walking ahead of Issac.

"Like finally." Sandra scoffed.

Issac stared unamused as Barret got ahead of him. "(Asshole. You did that completely on purpose!)" He thought, following along.

They finally make it to the cruiser, departing back to Alien Ministry headquarters. Sandra was sitting at the window, with her heels off. The suitcases were placed in the storage compartment, with Issac laying on one of the seats, panting.

Barret was looking out a window and then turns to Issac and Sandra. "Well, we made it. That was quite a trip, wasn't it? Heh, Issac you really have some muscles."

"Screw you." Issac muttered.
