25 Yue!

"How are you still alive?" Bai was stunned. He gave everything he had in that one strike. He was certain that even an immortal above body mending cultivation would have to careful against that, especially the body hammering practitioner; they could get demolished from the attack if they weren't careful.

"Well, have you ever fought a ruthless battle, a battle where even blood is like red paint to you?" Dan said as his piercing gaze locked upon Bai.

Bai's body turned sloppy upon hearing those words. His mind was shaken after getting caught by Dan's glance. His body and mind weren't able to take action for itself anymore and even though he tried to force it, they still wouldn't budge. He could only helplessly look at Dan after multiple attempts.

Dan's entire body was covered with blood. There wasn't a single part of his body that wasn't mixed with blood. Even his face was leaking blood from several pores.

"What?" Bai mind shuddered as he saw Dan's horrific appearance and as he heard what Dan said, he got terrified to the point he couldn't take a step forward or backwards.

"Let me show you an attack I made recently," Dan said as he faced Bai.

"Raindrop ki!"

Dan body seemed to have turned transparent as massive amounts of sword qi started to gather around him.

Some Qi's were in the shape of needles while others were like a sphere. They illuminated the places brighter than any light source.

"Ken ki"

Bai and the white-clothed expert were left baffled as they saw the sword qi gather around Dan at incredible speed.

"Boy! You also have a sword Qi, moreover, you have comprehended it to such a profound level," The Devil king was astonished, to say the least. Of course, because Dan was only 14 years old. For him to have accomplished so much in his life, he must have been a heavenly genius.

"I will something interesting, " Dan said cunningly as he channelled all the spirit energy inside his body and fired it towards the sky. In the air, all the spirit energy changed from their usual calm state to frenzied energy ball.

"Spear ki!"

"Fist ki!"

"Hammer Ki!"

Slowly, the first floor of the city lord castle turned into a dazzling light source. It gleamed far and wide, blinding the pedestrian nearby it.

The onlookers were confused and dumbstruck by the sudden changes. They didn't know what was happening.

Only devil king, Dan and Bai understood what was going on.

The spiritual energy was swiftly turning into Qi. Furthermore, into different types such as spear, fist and even hammer

"How? Why is this happening?"

Bai kept on starring even though the attack was aimed at him. He was regretting his decision; he shouldn't have tried to engage Dan in one on one battle. Only now did he realise how foolish he was to think that he would end Dan quickly.

Although that was the case, he was a bit excited to fight someone at this level.

"Too late!"

Dan glanced at the group of experts around him and slowly dropped his hand, singling the spiritual Ki's towards them.

"Swish! Swish!"

The Qi all went in separate directions. Sword Qi went towards Bai. And, the others were aimed at the white-clothed expert.

"Bang!"

"Ahhh!"

The white-clothed experts couldn't even retaliate. Their body got torn into pieces as cries of desperation left their mouth.

"Isn't this too much?"

Even Devil king shuddered. Even he wasn't as ruthless as Dan; to kill weaklings who weren't up to his standard was a bit too much.

"Ahh!"

Bai's tried to stop the attack with the last bit of energy he had stored inside his body. However, this clearly didn't help him; his body got pierced in several places and huge holes could be seen in his white, soft hands.

"Is that enough!" Dan said as his cold glance penetrated through the desperate people around him.

He didn't kill all of them such as Bai as he felt it was a bit too much, but he didn't spare them either as he wanted to implant fear within their heart. That type of mental attack was an important part of being a devil.

"Where is she?"

Dan dragged his wounded body and arrived before Bai, who was currently trying to minimise the blood loss.

"She is upstairs. As I told you, I will keep my promise, " Bai looked at Dan with awe instead of hatred. He was a bit happy he found someone strong, someone, who could be a promising rival in the future.

Although he was only in the first stage of immortal cultivation, he had a bright future ahead. In his own sect, he was known as the godly genius who appeared once every century.

He had only started to start being an immortal for a while. if he was given ten years, he was sure he could become an immortal. And, now that he had such a strong rival, the time would decrease instead of increasing.

"Here's the key to the door, " Bai said as he threw a mysterious looking key towards Dan.

Dan looked at the strangely shaped key in front of him. It wasn't like an ordinary key- It had a rectangular shape but that wasn't the extraordinary aspect about it. Dan could sense incredible amount spiritual energy pouring out of it while touching it.

"Oh! A spiritual key! Boy, this is a common type of key for immortal in the spirit world. Only through these keys would you be able to enter the immortal door, otherwise even extraordinary strength like your's wouldn't help open them!" Devil king said as he scanned the key from Dan consciousness.

"Thanks, " Dan said as he walked past Bai. He was originally intending on killing everyone in the castle but after hearing about the features of the key, he calmed down a little.

"Operate your technique. You need to recover as soon as possible, " Devil king was an entity with million years of experience, so he could keep his cool in whatever situation.

"First I will go rescue Yue, "

"Are you stupid? You are in enemies territory. You need to recover your strength. I can feel some powerful forces heading towards the city, Furthermore, you can save her and recover your strength. Why do you think the wicked kindness caused battle years ago?" Devil King wanted to punch Dan for his stupidity but he tried to relax and make Dan understand the situation.

His body was covered in mostly blood and there were cuts all over his body, however, as soon as he activated the wicked kindness, his body started to heal slowly and his meridians tried to gather the spiritual energy nearby.

"Quick! I can feel that force heading towards our direction, " Devil king cried as he tried to rush Dan.

In a dark room filled with blood stains, a lonely, petite figure, who was lying on the back of the wall could be seen.

Her tiny petite structure showed that she was less than 10 years old. Her body was pale as a dry ice cube. It was clear that her body was lacking blood and was malnourished due to the absence of food.

"Brother, I couldn't... Couldn't become strong, " Her desolated voice sounded as she continued sobbing.

"Creak!"

"Yue!"

Dan entered the room and spotted Yue who was having hard to keeping her consciousness.

"Brother!" The girl seemed surprised for a moment. After studying Dan for a while, she smiled brightly as her consciousness started to fade.
