24 Fight an immortal!

"A challenge?" Dan gazed at the guy with eyes full of blazing light.

He was suddenly excited to find someone who could rival his power. He hadn't once used his full power since turning immortal, so he didn't know the current limit of his body.

Only by knowing himself fully would he be able to win against his enemies in the future.

"Don't worry about the girl. Although she isn't in a good condition, she isn't dead yet, " The youngster didn't seem like a bad a guy. His eyes were showing sympathetic emotion while mentioning Yue's condition.

"I wouldn't have blocked you if it wasn't for master's order, " The guy spoke charmingly as he elegantly went down the stairs. He was graceful and seemed to be trying his best to not show any weakness before his subordinate.

"Since you are brave enough to come here, you must be prepared for the consequences!" The guy went ahead and attacked Dan first.

However, his punch didn't land upon Dan, but rather his mirror image.

Dan's figure reappeared behind the youngster.

"Ha!"

He attacked by pushing most of his body mass into a fist attack.

He used his normal punch to test the guy out. However, his punch landed upon nothing but thin air.

"You aren't just courageous but strong, ' The immortal was quite swift. Although his speed wasn't as fast as Dan, his agility was something remarkable.

He could dodge an attack with basic body moments and some immortal techniques.

" Before you get defeat, remember my name, it's Bai, meaning Undefeated. I haven't lost any fight I have had since I was born, whether it was big or small."

"Not even once."

"Shut the f*ck up!" Dan was enraged after having to hear Bai babbling about the things he didn't care.

He went forward and swung his leg towards his face.

"Bang!"

Bai blocked the attack with both his bare hands. As soon as he blocked the attack, he tried to give a roundhouse kick.

Dan easily blocked the attack with his own body.

"Ah!" Bai backed up after kicking. He glanced at Dan with astonishment. He could feel a stinging pain radiating out of his leg. As soon as his kick had landed upon Dan, he had felt like he was kicking hard bundle of steel.

"How?" He looked at Dan and probed him once again but in more detail. He could tell that Dan had recently entered upon the gates of immortal. Meaning that he was at the first stage of False immortal- Body mending stage. The beginning of this stage was classified as the boundary between mortal and immortal.

He himself was a late stage Body mending practitioner, meaning that he should easily be able to pin Dan to the floor, but what he expected to happen didn't happen at all.

"I will show you what a blood rushing battle means!" Dan glanced at Bai and smiled ruthlessly.

He was a devil, moreover, a son of a real devil lord, the one who controlled masses of devils. Let alone Bai, even True immortal wouldn't normally be worth his time. If it wasn't for the fact that his unfathomable strength was gone, even the true immortal behind city lord wouldn't be able to take a punch from him, let alone the youngest before him.

Dan once again disappeared from the bystander's sight.

A chopping sound sounded as soon as Dan was gone from his spot.

The black-clothed experts looked at the location where the chop sounded. Their eyes were filled with astonishment as they saw Dan right before Bai. He had chopped the torso of Bai's. Although it wasn't in half, there was fighting deep wound exposed for all of them to see.

"You!" The youngsters looked at Dan with a dumbstruck expression. He couldn't believe what just happened. He was just ready to attack but who would have expected he would be finished before he could start showing off his skills.

He could see traces of exhaustion in Dan's face. It was probably the side effect of applying the technique several times. He backed off, while heavily breathing, and holding his chest as it went up and down.

Blood was gushing out of the severe wound, but he didn't seem to be worried about them as he fiercely glared at Dan.

White-clothed experts began to pop out as Bai started to close his wounds.

"Ah! Contact the city lord. " The white-clothed experts who arrived at the scene were looking at the scene with shock filled in their eyes. The black-clothed expert reacted by retreating backwards and going in separate directions.

"No one goes!" Bai shouted on top of his lungs. The white and black-clothed expert halted their steps upon hearing those words. They didn't dare go against Bai as he was someone they couldn't afford to offend even in their dreams.

"I will keep my promise. If you win, you can take her away. While if you lose... you die!" Bai said as he directed his eyes towards Dan.

Dan looked at those firm obstinate eyes and nodded his head. He thought that there was at least one good guy within the enemy's group.

"This is my most powerful attack, an attack even mind transforming practitioner would have to be careful about. If you can take it, I will not complain about whatever you do to me."

"Swish!" Bai finally took out the sword that was placed in the scabbard behind his back. He could feel a slight change in atmosphere as Dan's face softened. He glanced at Dan and said, "It's not because I am a good guy, it's because I want a challenge that will keep me excited!"

"Ken ki!"

Dense sword Qi started to manifest around the castle as Bai released series of spiritual energy. The Spiritual energy turned into sharp energy and then mixed along with the sword qi. In the process, the sharp energy sliced whatever it touched.

"Sword qi! This boy isn't ordinary, although he isn't powerful to kill you, " Devil king was a bit surprised by the change made by Bai in an instant. He could feel the marvellous sword qi around his body. Sword Qi could only be comprehended by people who had high intelligence and high devotion towards sword path.

Even Dan was a bit surprised. Sword Qi wasn't a new term to him. He had seen many devils use different forms of Qi, so he was used to seeing sword Qi flying from places to place on a daily basis. However, that was in devil word, a world filled with blood and cruel law, whereas, the spirit world, from his impression, was quite peaceful, especially the backwater such as this elemental city.

"Hakai!" Bai condensed the Qi inside his sword and released all of it in the form of sword slash. He related all of it in one go as he saw it reach its peak. The slash was directly aimed at Dan, who was a couple of meters away.

"Boom!"

The attack landed upon Dan as Bai had anticipated. Dan didn't even have time to react as the attack landed upon his body. He was standing still until the attack had done the harm to buildings around him. The buildings were reduced to dust although the attack was for Dan.

"Is he done for?" The martial expert looked excited as they glanced at the scene. However, Bai seemed to have had suffered a great blow as he kept on looking at the great catastrophe in front of him in a stupefied manner.

"How are you still alive?" Bai exclaimed as he saw an intact figure slowing heading towards him.
