22 Demise of the legendary clan!

"What happened?"

In the dark night, Long woke up to find himself on the rough, grew floor. His curious eyes gazed around the room and only the bed and some carpets came to his sight.

"Where am I?" Long stared at the dark for a brief amount of time before standing up.

"Oh, you are awake!"

Suddenly, as Long was considering whether to get out or not, a sharp voice came from somewhere inside the room. The voice sounded somewhat familiar to Long, however, there was a tingle of supremacy hidden in that voice which made him want to bow down.

"Who?" His mind was clouded with confusion from the recent events and as he got caught in strange cases, he felt more and more disorientated.

"It's me, Long, " Dan came out of the darkness with a silly smile.

Long was left speechless upon glancing at Dan. Dan had suddenly popped out of nowhere, frightening him to death, and creating a mental problem for him. The problem was that he didn't know how Dan did it, and so it sent chills down his spine.

He wasn't even sure if he was dreaming or not.

"This is actually fun!'" Dan vanished once again as he saw Long's reaction.

He was currently using the technique, Crane dance. The technique once applied, could help the user disappear from naked eyes! and there were many other abilities left for Dan to comprehend. From this, one could see why this technique was so precious to the sky immortal sect.

Long had yet to recover from the shock and he saw Dan disappear once again. He wanted to punch himself and be knocked down so that he could get out of this misery.

In the midst of the dark environment, he felt like he was in a dream-like illusion.

"Stop playing around!" Devil king couldn't bear seeing Long's confusion.

"Pah"

Long punched himself to end the misery.

"Ah, I made a mistake!" Dan appeared before Long's body and sighed with guilt.

After a few minutes...

"Brother Dan, am I awake?" Long felt like he was finally awake after punching himself.

"Yeah, " Dan said with remorseful tone. He lifted him up and made sure he was in his optimal condition.

"Brother Long, I have a question, and I am hoping that you answer me truthfully, " Dan said to Long with seriousness while placing him in the chair nearby.

"Yeah, tell me, brother Dan, " Long replied.

Hearing Dan talk about overthrowing the city lord, Long got scared stiff both mentally and physically.

"I mean, are there any clan that are in odd against him? It could be an open fight or even a hidden fight" Dan said as he saw Long's confused expression.

"There are five large clans, fifty mid clan and countless that are in odd against him, however since city lord himself has many other clans backing him, the opposing clans don't dare to display their hate in open light,"

"Only the four great clans dare to go against them directly as they are each supported by strong immortals within their clan, "

Long was frightened but as a son of an immortal, he was trying to act rationally.

"Ask him whether he not they would go for an all-out war if they had the opportunity, " The devil king contemplated the situation for a while and said his piece so it could help Dan.

"So, are there any mortal enemies of the city lord then, " Dan didn't try to go roundabout, but rather he asked directly as it was already a bother to plan ahead.

Long hesitated for a moment. His breathing shortened and his face went all red. His face showed the inner turmoil he had.

Long considered whether to reveal her location or not, but in the end, after thinking it through, he said, "Sigh. I guess I can tell you- She is in the thunderstrike village located at the far east for the city, "

" What should we do, Asura, " Dan said through his mental connection.

"First, you should find the girl and then look for the earth petal and we can plan something out after that, " Devil king was a million years old entity. He experienced a world full of unpredictable people, so it wasn't a surprise as to why he could form a plan in a few seconds.

"Alright, thanks for everything, Long. You can go now. It has been more than a day, so your parents might be worried, "

"What? It's been more than a day!" Long exclaimed before running through the hallway and jumping across the alleyway.
