4 That's your punishment!

"Yime, you have two options: surrender or get killed along with your family.." the leader of the squad looked at the bulk man and ostentatiously spit out those ruthless words.

From his tone, one could tell he had a personal grudge with Yime.

"Fay, you are aware I am not going to surrender." the bulk man (Yime) replied.

Yime knew if he was to surrender now, not only his but his family's future would be bleak. It would be even worse than death. The person he offended was no ordinary figure.; it was an immortal and no ordinary one at that.

Although Yime was a powerful martial artist, he couldn't do anything to such omnipotent being. Even lifting his finger at such being would result in a severe punishment.

He still didn't know as to he offended such being.

"Seems like you are ready to knock on the door of hell!" the squad captain exclaimed while pointing his finger at Yime.

As he finished his sentence, all the men in black clothing pulled their swords from their scabbard which was hanging on their waist. As they extracted it, a rhythmic sword could be heard.

They all went to bombard Yime with their own special attacks, one by one. However, before they could even touch him, they were sent flying. The bulk man had only waved his fist at them yet they were sent flying. Some got severely injured while some passed out.

After a few seconds, all the subordinate of the captain either passed out or were unable to move.

"So you have reached the qi condescending realm, " the squad captain exclaimed and then looked at the people at his back. They had white clothing on and seemed to be quite calm about the situation.

"You three, don't just stand there. Do some work or I will inform the city lord about your capability." the square captain seeing the scene in front of his layout, persuaded the three experts of the group to attack.

The three had strength which rivalled the squad captain. The only thing that stooped them from being a squad captain was luck. They could only get promoted to a squad captain after they had a chance to showed their loyalty to the city lord.

City lord himself was an immortal. It didn't mean he could live for eternity, rather it meant that he was beyond the understanding of normal human beings. Furthermore, he couldn't be measured to a mortal person, no matter how strong that mortal person was. If they dragged down his name, they could also get severely punished.

While the three were contemplating whether they should move or not, the squad captain took out a black emblem from his sleeve and flashed it towards the three men.

The three looked at the squad caption with the venomous look after seeing the medal emblem but didn't dare take any action against him.

They all took out their own weapon with a swift movement and waved them towards Yime. However, Yime didn't seem intimidated by the lineup, rather he looked excited. Firstly, they didn't attack his family, and secondly, a battle was a way to evolve from him, so it was a nice gift.

He didn't throw kicks or punches this time, instead, he also pulled out a sword from his waist. The blade was 1.5 meters long and supposedly looked like a killing machine.

He swung it towards the three experts who were charging towards him. The attack was quite aggressive yet wasn't too forceful. The sword seemed to be only focused on the enemies and no one else.

"Bang!"

As the three different weapons collided with the sword, a huge explosive sound was heard. It was loud enough for an old person to go deaf.

"Continue!"

The squad captain was excited upon inspecting the outcome of the clash. The rough man was pushed back by the three experts.

As the battle continued, the squad captain started to think himself.

"I better have my job finished too, or..." the squad captain's body shook as he thought of some matter. After a while, his eyes shifted from the battlefield and landed upon the little girl. His eyes were filled with wickedness and his face was radiating the evil thought he was currently having.

"Don't blame me. It's an order which determines my life." the squad captain stood still for a while before moving towards the girl.

His steps echoed across the cottage as he slowly made his way towards the girl.

The mother and the daughter pair noticed the squad captain moving towards them, so they had a look of despair as the steps echoed. Their expression was filled with horror yet they didn't give up and started getting further away from the battlefield.

"Yue."

Yime, who was battling the three potent experts had a look of unwillingness as he saw his daughter's and his wife's face.

"Fay, you better not lay hands on them!"

Yime's voice clamoured as he laid his eyes upon the squad captain.

The squad captain smugly said:

"So what if I do."

Yime couldn't handle it anymore so he went all out.

"F*ck off!"

He clashed against the three experts with a full power strike. After seeing no result, he used one of the martial arts special technique.

"Qi sweep!"

"Boom!"

One of the experts, who had white hair and old face tried to block the attack. However, as soon as his weapon (sword) touched Yime's sword, it got obliterated into pieces.

"Ah!"

As soon as Yime's sword passed through the obstacle, a miserable cry was heard. The qi technique used by Yime was quite mysterious; the old man's body was cut into several pieces as soon as the sword landed on his body.

"Danny, " the two other experts looked at the purgatory scene with misty eyes. They were brothers, so the scene in front of them left them devastated.

"How dare you!!"

The two old men looked at the Yime, who was exhausted from the attack. It seemed as though he didn't have any energy to spare. However, he still continued to advance further, trying to get through the two old men, in an attempt to get to his family

The squad captain panicked upon witnessing Yime's strength.

He believed himself to be at the same level as Yime, however, upon seeing the scene, he knew there was a massive gap between the two.

"Whatever, you can't do anything if I use 'that'." the squad captain secretly though.

"Don't you dare!"

Yime cried once again, although it wasted more of his energy.

"Qi sweep"

"Boom!"

"Boom!"

Yime once again performed the technique but this time it was blocked by the two expert, so no one died, however, Yime suffered a serious backlash while the two experts were left nearly crippled.

"Die!"

It only took 5 seconds for Yime to kill one enemy and leave 2 other helpless.

The squad captain hurriedly charged towards mother of Yue. He grasped a sword and moved even faster as Yime got more aggressive with his attack.

However, before the captain could perform any killing act, a white light made its way towards him.

"Swish"

The captain vanished from his spot and only ashes remained.

"Captain!"

The two experts, who were utterly exhausted looked at the spot and lost their spirit. Not only them, but also the subordinate of the captain, who were currently seriously injured, passed out.

There was no indication as to where the light came from, however, what clarified the captain's death was the ashes.

As per the rules of the city lord, it stated - if the captain was killed while his subordinate remained, the subordinate had to kill themselves or sacrifice themselves to kill their enemies.

As the two white clothed experts wept, a sound was heard throughout the cottage.

"That's your punishment!"
