3 Unpredictable Dan

"You better come out or this cottage of yours will be burned down by my men."

The voice once again echoed. It was louder and even more barbaric compared to before. It was as though the owner of the rough voice had a great feud with the little girl's family.

"Mother... It's those bad guys again...n.

The little girl was trembling from the top to the bottom. It was as if the people outside the cottage, who were constantly shouting, were one of the sources for her nightmares.

"Don't worry Yue. Your father will be here soon"

The mother of the little girl tried to make her feel safe, however, her own expression betrayed it.

Like her daughter, she was also trembling, moreover, in her eyes, there was a light which told people that she knew the severity of the situation. She was clearly more frightened compared to her own daughter.

The petite girl had tears all over her face. She was hoping that her father would come to save her mother and herself when suddenly a loud explosion was heard.

The young woman, who was just by the little girl's side, couldn't help but thank Dan. If Dan wasn't here, there was no saying as to what would happen to the two of them.

Just as Dan was about to make a reply, a wheezing voice was heard.

The door that was half opened, fully opened. Dan, the little girl and her mother could see a figure who was half naked once the door was fully unlocked. Dan, who was beside the girl looked at them with envy. He never got to meet his own father, so it was a wonder to him; how fatherly love felt.

"Yue, come over here," the rough man looked at his daughter and called her over. He hugged her while the little girl smiled with a blissful expression.

Seeing the girl smile, Dan got over the jealousness and felt happy for her.

"Sorry senior, May I know your name?"

The muscular man eyes drifted around the cottage until it finally landed on Dan. He asked the question quite gravely.

He could feel a mysterious aura surrounding the person few inches ahead of him. His heart thumped hard while his entire being felt as though it was falling into an abyss. As an expert of Qi martial artist, he could tell the person in front of him was no ordinary being.

"Yime, " the young women reluctantly separated herself from her husband. She slowly wiped out her tears and said: "this senior is the person who saved our lives."

Yime, who was hugging his own daughter with his left arm looked at Dan in shock.

"I only have one request, I don't have a place to stay, so can I stay at yours."

The man nodded his head after lifting up it up. He was really grateful towards Dan as he had saved his loved ones.

If he (Dan) wasn't at the scene, there was no saying as to what consequence would befall upon his family.

"Hurray. Brother Dan is coming home."

The little girl hopped like a rabbit and put on an excited smile on her face. She was really fond of Dan. She liked the way he was nice to her and her family.

Moreover, he gave her a feeling a biological brother would bequeath.

The door once again opened. Bunch of people in black clothing came through the unlatched door. They surrounded the family and one of the person at the front of the group said:

"Yime, you are given a death plenty by the city lord of the Elemental city."
