98 Chapter 92

Wang and Ai stood in front of the group, the youth keeping his gaze down while not really paying attention the new group of people who had entered the area. Instead he was more worried about the herbs he wanted to gather being trampled on. Wang however kept his gaze on the group, looking over the male who had talked first. The male was rather robust with a large belly and beefy stature. His face was like a swollen ham with dark tents to his skin as if he baked in the sun for periods of time. The male next to him was snickering, drawing Wang's attention to him. The first thing you'd think of when looking at him, was some rich youth who didn't understand how clothing worked. The flashing bright robes, with different gold lining accessories. The opened robed, with the less ideal chest peering through.

"Hey, Senior brother Gia, Do you think I can have the first taste?" he stated, his gaze shifting to the larger male next to him. The larger male huffed while rolling his eyes. "That could be…Depends, what do you think?" he stated, his gaze turning to look at the youth behind them. His presence was a bit lower then the other two, it was as if he had the wish to leave without doing anything. The youth wasn't even looking towards Wang and Ai, his attention looking around the area at the herbs. He didn't even respond, causing the two other males to feel a bit awkward for a moment. Coughing, the large Gia turned his attention back to Wang. "You there, let us see the beauty ah?"

It was clear by his actions that the other should just do as he said. Maybe it was because he was used to always having his way, however Wang only shifted his neck, cracking it while slowly letting his spiritual pressure leak out. His actions caused the flashy male to laugh waving a fan. "Clearly you don't know who we are ah? Brother Gia shouldn't be ignored~." his words drew out, "Just let us have some fun yeah? Then you can go back to enjoying the used goods." his expression became rather lewd while his gazed back to the youth behind him. "Or maybe she'd prefer some real men?" His words hinting towards Wang's lacking in some area's.

Upon hearing this Gia moved forward reaching to grab at Ai's arm however, before his hand could reach, Wang grabbed his wrist twisting it back and with more force then Gia expected pushed him back towards the other two. A moment of shock waved over Gia. He was left dazed for a moment as he processed what had just happened. When his mind realized what it was he angrily attempted to strike at Wang merely for his fist to be caught before impact. Wang then with a simple strike to Gia's belly forced him to his knees.

Gia struggled to his feet while panting heavily. It was clear that he hadn't expected Wang to strike him. Wang's expression was very dark as he glared at the male, "Don't touch my wife" he said through gritted teeth, Ai behind him slowly raised an eyebrow but said nothing to Wang's statement, The flashy youth rushed forward to help Gia stand up his attention then moving back to Wang, "You don't understand what you've just done, do you have any idea who he is?!" Wang just gave a low grunt while turning his attention away not wanting to bother with the idiots before him. The flashy youth lunged forward folding the fan as he did so and attempted to strike Wang on the head. Before the attack could land, Wang merely adjusted his posture to easily bypass the swing before sending a kick into the large males stomach. The Kick sent the larger male back into the flashy youth causing them to tumble over one another. The flashy male letting out a small cry as he was crushed by his partner, Gia gave out another annoyed cry as he leaps back to his feet "you will pay for that with your life!"

Gia stomped a foot causing the earth to rise before him and with a punch hurled the boulder towards Wang. The flashy youth getting to his feet opened his fan and began to manipulate the gusts of wind created by it sending a blade of wind towards the highly aggravated Wang. Ai who had remained mostly uninterested in the fight unfolding before them merely sent a glance towards the two attacks instantly negating them before they could even reach Wang. Ai turns his gaze back to the herbs around while speaking lightly to Wang, "Can you hurry up I want to get back to collecting my herbs" His comment caused Wang's expression to lighten some as he nodded, his attention turning back to the two males before him. The laid back youth behind the two instigators turned his gaze to Ai narrowing them slightly before turning his attention away. With Ai's comment Wang rolled his shoulders back and began to attack.

In an instant Wang Surged forward towards the attackers, as he did so a faint shadow appeared at the corner of his eyes and for a brief moment he looked towards the direction but as quickly as it had appeared it was gone. The two youths who had instigated this attempted to block his attack but found themselves powerless as Wang breached their defense. With relative ease, Wang struck both men in the chest and sent a direct lighting bolt through both of them. The Lighting shot through them, causing their bodies to twitch as their eyes rolled into the back of the heads. Muffled sounds of pain escaping the youths before they both slumped over on the ground.

The two seemed unresponsive as they lied there, bodies unmoving and not breathing. The relaxed youth seemed indifferent to the deaths of his party and turned to leave. Wang moved his gaze to the youth before sending out a warning shot not knowing the youths intentions. The youth merely waved a hand causing the attack to fade out before his gaze moved back to Ai a slight smile on his lips as he turned to walk back into the dense forest. Wang was left staring at the empty space, not really sure how his attack could have been disrupted regardless of how strong the other person was. It was the first time that he'd realized that this could happen.

Ai also turned his attention towards the area the male left in, his brows pulling together as he tried to figure out what he was feeling. The faint feeling of knowing that person pressed against the back of his mind. However, he couldn't figure out where he'd seen him before. Before he could process this information, Wang had already returned to his side, lightly petting his head. "I'm sorry. You wanted to just gather herbs and I caused a fight." he said, clearly upset over this. Ai shook his head, moving to pat Wang's arm before turning his attention away. "Its fine, They were after me not you. I'm sorry." he said softly. "Though, I don't remember being your wife." he then stated, his mood no longer soured as it was before.

Wang blushed lightly as he rubbed his neck, awkwardly looking away. "Ah, that was just a statement. I-" he began, trying to find a reason to cover his blunder. The panicked expression only caused Ai to laugh as he held his stomach, not at all minding Wang's choice in words. He himself didn't want to admit that the comment had caused his heart to flutter a bit. The idea of belonging to Wang wasn't as horrible as it first had been. The only problem, was that Ai wasn't sure when that thought had first come about. Did he truly care for Wang? Or was it a false relationship caused by living a false life? Maybe he would never get the answer to that.

"Well, we should leave before we get pulled into more disputes. It's best to pretend we never met these fools." Ai then stated as he started to deeper into the forest. Wang fallowed along, not at all minding Ai's reaction of laughing at him. He was only glad the youth wasn't angry after all. It would be really frustrating if his stupid mouth caused them to fight once more. What more, they had only just made up after all. As they made their way, Ai noticed the glimpse of a shadow to the side, however when he turned to look at it, the figure was once more gone. His arms lingering with the goosebumps that caused him the shiver slightly.

"You alright?" Wang asked, noticing the little ones reaction. Ai just brushed it off, shaking his head. "Just a bit cold, lets go get ready for night yeah?" He said putting the feeling to the back of his mind. As they went off, within the vegetation, the youth from before lingered up in a tree, resting lazily while grazing his finger over a small blade. "I didn't expect to meet him so soon. I wasn't ready yet." the voice spoke out. The same shadow that had lingered around shifted, moving to hover next to the youth in the tree. "I also told you to stay out of sight…" his voice came out, rather coldly then before.

The shadow shuddered, as if afraid before seeping back into the youths shadow.
