Leo woke up and he saw Leah's face right in front of his own . He looked at her for a while as they both blinked their eyes in confusion .
" What were you trying ?" He said as he continued on looking into her eyes . His eyes shined as he felt the disturbances in her Mana .
She wanted to continue looking into those beautiful golden eyes , drowning in their brightness , but she moved away , in fear of making Leo uncomfortable . " Nothing ." She said as she hid her face that had become slightly red . She looked down towards the stairs .
" What are the monsters down there ?" Leo asked showing he was not affected by what just happened .
" This dungeon contains fire elemental monsters . Down below are Fire Lizards . They should be just a little stronger than the cows ." She said with a tone containing a tinge of disappointment .
" Sorry for just now . I fainted because I hadn't slept for a while . " He said . He thought she had come after he didn't go down for some time .
She simply nodded to show she neither agreed or disagreed with his assumption .
Leo got up and Leah picked the sheet of cloth back up . They went down , this time Leo had nothing to disturb him so they slowly made their way to the lower floors .
After floor 2 Leo received another alert .

He simply smiled to himself as he continued on towards the 3rd floor . Leah looked at him with a gaze he didn't quite understand , but he just thought she was weirded out by the blood that dried on his hands .

' Dungeons are quite good for training . it took me about 7 days to get my gift's proficiency up to 79% but in just the last few hours it had went up by the remaining 17% .' He thought to himself .

He looked at the alert in front of his eyes and shook his head ' I forgot about that . It must be related to the scythe ... ' He reached out for the mark behind his neck but to his surprise , it wasn't present there .

" Oh my god ! An actual answer ! " He stopped killing and shouted . He was so surprised by the system's action he got even more pumped up than before . He then looked around and saw he unwillingly activated [Fear] . All the Hot Porks ( A/n : I'm brain dead . Hit me ) around him looked at him in fear as he just laughed and continued killing them " Who am I kidding . It just told me I have competitors that will come to kill me ."
He realized perhaps not knowing was much , much better than not knowing he was a target for someone to to kill , and he didn't even get a definite number .
" I'll , " he said as fire burned atop both his claws " Deal with it " He raised his hands " as it comes " and punched straight to the ground as a wave of fire was released all around him .
" And I guess magic can't be any better than this ." He laughed .
By the time they reached the stairs to the 4th floor ,

a long time had passed .

He knew the next floor didn't have many monsters . ' It has only one '
" Boss floor ." Leah said .
Leo nodded . This would be his first boss in a dungeon since he came to this world .
" What tier are you ?" Leah asked .
" Basic-intermediate ." He knew what she was asking . She wanted to know whether he was ready to face a boss with the mana of a middle-intermediate tier monster .
" Wanna turn back ?" Leo said as he held onto her hand . His other hand subconsciously reached onto his chest , where the tattoo was . He didn't know where it was , but it was as if it was calling him . ' Use me , master .' He heard the scythe in his head . He shook his head and removed his hand from his chest .
" Not yet . I can't turn back now ." Leah said as her hold onto his hand tightened .
" Run back if you feel you can't do it . I think I ... could at least make enough time ."
' Not until I need you ' He silenced the voice in his head .' As you wish , master .'
" Let's go ."
He released her hand and , as if she knew what he wanted , she followed 2 steps directly behind him .
The floor became hotter , it was not unbearable , but Leo could directly feel the heat hit his body .
As soon as they reached the 4th floor , they saw a giant monster , bipedal , from how it looked , standing in the middle of the floor facing the wall opposite to them .
He felt his heart beat fasten and his bloodlust rising .
" Elly , you don't have to fight ." He said . " Just increase its perception to its maximum when I tell you to ." He looked back and gave Leah a sidelong glance , because he wanted to hide his smile .
Leah nodded and stood there , ready to act at any time .
Leo walked forward , slowly towards the monster . ' An actual fantasy monster ' He thought to himself . ' and not just an animal ' He continued . " An orc ." His steps quickened " Oversized " His claws appeared . " Lit on fire " And directly lit on a black flame " But , regardless " He ran straight to it " Still just a orc ."
He jumped and in midair , roared .
[ Ineffective ]
He sneered . ' Doesn't matter ' [Fear] did not work . ' That wasn't a part of the strategy anyways .'
He did a front flip and kicked toward its head . The orc , faster than Leo's kick could land , turned around and used its club to block the kick .
' That makes it all the more fun .'
He jumped off of the club and it instantly lit on fire . He landed on the ground not far away from the orc , and looked at it , straight into the eyes . ' Even if it can't use it , it has way more mana than me .' The orc , whose hand and leg joints were lit on fire looked back at him .
' About 30 , if counted in attribute points , I guess . ' He ran towards the orc and used his claws to try and pierce through it's skin . Its skin was tough , but not tough enough for leo's claws to not go through it .
His claws just barely scratched against it's skin , but it still roared in anger .
" Aaaaaaaauuuuuuugghhhhhhhhhhh"
' They don't go through completely ' He looked at his claws and back at the orc rushing at him with its club held high ' But go through regardless .' He slashed at the orc with his claws again and again , trying to hit the same location . Sometimes he succeeded and the wounds around its neck and hands started getting deeper . Leo focussed on slashing its neck , and continued around the same area as he dodged the club it swung at him .
'Deeper ' He hit its neck once more . He could almost see an artery near its neck . ' Just a bit more .' He hit the same place again as he jumped over its head . ' I won't kill you ' He smiled as he hit it at its arm ' I promise , I won't .' His smile slowly deepened ' I will make you beg to be killed .' he slashed at its leg and jumped above it again ' The orc turned around to face him but he was already on the other side . ' It must hurt right ' He slashed at its neck as he fell down . ' It must make you want to die .' He slashed at it calf and deepened its injuries even more . The orc turned once more , but this time Leo waited for it to turn . As soon as it did , Leo jumped and slashed its face , straight through the eyes . ' Let go of your sanity ' He got behind it again , as the orc dropped its club and held its face . Mid fall he slashed down the whole of its back . ' Let the pain in ' He slashed at its claves again and again till the orc fell to the ground . ' Feel it ' His flames grew in size . He looked towards Leah , who understood what he meant and instantly did her job . ' Because you will feel even the flames betray you ' he put his left hand in his pant's pocket and relaxed his body ' Because it is about to get a lot worse ' as soon as he saw the mana around it change he pointed his hand at the back of the monster ' As you meet your end at the worst hands ' and his [breath] worked how it was supposed to and became a flamethrower . Leo couldn't hold it any longer as he laughed , like a madman , seeing the orc burn to the ground .
