I saw two streams of blood spurt from the wound of Liu Xue Feng before he collapsed on the ground in front of Mr. Xia Zheng. I saw an ominous black, and evil qi emits out of the crumpled body of Liu Xue Feng. It's like some evil spirits or entity is abandoning their host.

If my eye didn't play any tricks on me, I think I see the evil entity that looks like an octopus trembling at the sight of Mr. Xia Zheng before it disperses to nothingness.

Mr. Xia Zheng then picks it up, and my grandfather panicked.

"Sir Xia! Please don't look at… oh"

It seems like my grandfather just remembers the fact that Mr. Xia Zheng was blinded and he just kept it in the jade seal box that he brought from his storage ring.

Mr. Xia Zheng walks directly to me and brings the white porcelain that contains the life-saving pill to me.

"Give it to your father if you forgive him. If not, You can leave him to die or tell me if you don't want to bear the sin of patricide.

What does he mean? Forgive him? Wait… don't tell me!

I quickly run to the side of Liu Xue Feng to check on him, He's still breathing, but it's weakening by the minute.

"Father." I try calling him and bring his head to rest on my lap.

The man is slowly looking at me and smiles with care. His eye looks straight at me; there's only care and love within these eyes.

"Ling'er, I'm sorry."

It's the first sentence he spoke to me with love, it's the same back then when Liu Xiling Mother died, he said sorry with this weak but still loving expression.

"What have I done to you? In pursuit of power. I had just tried to kill you, the most precious person in my life, to please those hypocrites from the Medicine Dao sect!"

He spoke in regret as my grandfather walked closer to see his face.

"Humph! Took you long enough. I nearly forgot that you can still make this face. The face of a man that I entrusted my daughter with."

From what my grandfather said, something is fishy with this situation.

I bring the life-saving pill out and feed it to Liu Xue Feng. He ate it, and in a moment the color of blood returned to his face.

"Father there are many things I would like to know," I said to him as Mr. Xia Sheng looking at Liu Xue Feng.

"Also, I want to know something as well… but before that." He then walks to the crowd that surrounded the manor to see what happen.

Mr. Xia Zheng pierced his cane on the marble floor and the cracked appeared with the released of his spirit qi pressure.

"The shows over! Please return! Don't make me send you away with my cane!" He said with a tremendous spiritual pressure within his voice as the crowded quickly dispersed out of fear and awe.

Liu Manor - Liu Fu Ming Study room

Within Liu Fu Ming study room which have many bookshelves and tea table set decorated by gilded gold. Much beautiful scenery picture and calligraphy that hanged on the wall gave of the scholarly feeling within the room.

Four people sat in a different chair that match their status in the eye of Liu Fu Ming. Xia Zheng sat on the most luxurious chair that has a tea set on the tea table near him while Liu Xiling didn't sit nearest to him. As for Liu Fu Ming sat at the chair behind the study desk while Liu Xu Feng sat on the smallest chair at the center of the room just like a defendant that was waiting for a judge.

They are staying in silent. No one is willing to be the first to ask and cause the awkward air within the room until Xia Zheng asks.

"Don't you want to ask him something girl?"

This question from Xia Zheng brought Liu Xiling back to the present from her thought. She thought about her current situation and about real Liu Xiling, The Assimilation process let her have Liu Xiling memories but does it also assimilate her personality with Liu Xiling? What about her soul? Because of What she knew from Liu Xiling memories had confirmed the existence of the soul and spirits within this world.

But, She quickly put that at the back of her mind before asking Liu Xu Feng.

"Father, When did you start to change?"

Liu Xu Feng helplessly smiles before answer.

"Maybe… When your mother died? I think that's when this is all it began."

"But, Doesn't mother died because…" She tries to ask, but she sensed that the topic is too sensitive. She doesn't know if it's appropriate to finish what she said.

"Because I poisoned her? No, I didn't" Liu Xu Feng finish what she wants to ask by answering what's on her mind.

"But, You tried to obstruct us to not investigate it." Liu Xiling retort.

A complicated expression that mixed with sadness, regret and anger display on Liu Xu Feng face before he sighs helplessly.

"Fine, I'll tell you." He said then adjust his emotion and breathing before continue.

"When we were going out of the city to do some business at the nearby country. In the middle of the way, We've met with the people from the upper realm, and they desired your mother body. We both fought with them, but I'm not strong enough, The consequence is that I need to watch them raped your mother with my own eyes!" His anger is starting to lose control, and his hand begins to bleed because his nail is piercing into his palm.

What Liu Xu Feng said cause everyone in the room to silent in shock of this revelation.

"After that, We'd survived. I tried to console your mother that I don't care about this thing, and I still love her, but she can't take it. After she came back to the manor, she drank the poisoned wine and ended her own life. And I knew that both you and your grandfather would try to get revenge; that's why I was obstructed you not to investigate in this matter."

"Then, Why have you poisoned me with the slow-acting poison? And nearly kill me." The grandfather asks.

Liu Xu Feng looks at Liu Fu Ming before sighing in depression and helplessness.

"This… I don't know, But trust me I don't want to do this despicable thing but the voice inside me told me to grasp and use every opportunity to gain more power otherwise I won't have a chance to get revenge for my wife." He paused and looking at everyone face that obviously didn't trust him.

"Maybe, My inner demon get the better of me and cause me to do this. I won't excuse myself for any consequence if father-in-law wants to kill me, I'll gladly give you my head." He said.

Everyone fell into silence as Xia Zheng turned to Liu Xu Feng and ask.

"Did you met with someone particular before you decide to poisoned your father-in-law?"

"Someone particular huh?" He starts to ponder for a bit before blurting out like he just remembers something vital!

"Yes! I remember I think I had met with someone that calls himself a priest. Yes, A Black skin man that called himself a priest and his name? He has a bizarre name, yes! I think his name is Cthulhu" Said Liu Xu Feng.
