41 The situation in Liu clan

We're waiting for a moment before a servant walked to the gate but when he sees us. He's look confuse and then a glint of disdain display in this servant's eyes.

"Please wait here for a moment young miss."

The servant then quickly go back to the main manor. Somehow my heart feels hurt with no reasons.

"Are you sure this is your home?" Mr.Xia Zheng ask me.

He raises his hand and tries to slap my face. I feel the power within that hand if it lands on my face. If I didn't die, I would surely be in a coma state for gods know how long.

But the hit doesn't land on me. It got intercept by a cane of Mr. Xia Zheng that stand in front of me.

"Mr. Liu is it? Do you want to kill your own daughter?" He asks that man. Wait!? That man face is quite familiar. Isn't that Liu Xiling father!?

"Father…" I call him to test the water.

"You slut! Don't call me father! From this day onward I disown you!" He shouts in anger.

Surround by many people in this city. I felt hurt and sad for this sentence that's out of Liu Xiling father. I don't like this feeling. But this feeling slowly subsides while anger gradually replaces this feeling.

"Then, Liu Xuefeng, What did I do to deserve this? Can you tell your former daughter?" I ask him.

Mr. Xia Zheng turns to looks at me and smiles a little.

"I thought you are the shy and gentle type, but you're quite fierce you know that?" He was chuckling and turn back to face all of the guards and that man like a sturdy wall that protects me from all the harms.
