27 Trap

Zhu Wushang and Tian Xiulan quickly go out of the room and go straight to the ship bridge. The scene of chaos and confusion playing inside the bridge many shouts are heard, and everyone seems to panic.

"Your Highness!" The captain saluted Tian Xiulan while ignoring Zhu Wushang who's looking at the sea map on the table.

"What's the situation? Report!" Tian Xiulan quickly asked with the commanding tone.

"Yes! Your Highness! Our main spirits engine has malfunctioned. We're checking and trying to repair it as we speak." The captain reported in a respectful tone.

"Good! Then why are you panicking right now, Is the situation is not in control?" She asked in doubt while looking around and saw that all the crew face paled and many are in panicking states.

The Captain stutter with a complicated face. But Zhu Wushang cut in and said what's on the captain mind.

"The real problem is not the engine but where the ships are right now. Is this what you want to say? Captain?"

What Zhu Wushang said made captain face even more paled because every word of his was the fact that he tried to convey without facing the wrath from the Blood princess in front of him.

"What do you mean? Husband?" Tian Xiulan asked as she walked to see the sea map.

Zhu Wushang point at the place where the ships are on the map and explain.

"This area is where we are, And It's a territory of the Giant sea serpent king. Usually, This type of mistake would never happen because of the spirits ship engine speed will let the ship pass this territory before the Sea serpent king would even know we're trespassing its territory."

"Captain I expected a good explanation for this matter." Tian Xiulan glaring at the captain with a cold eye and the captain feeling the dreaded cold air from her.

"Lan'er You can't blame him for this, Because this route has been used every time when a spirits ship is being used as a vassal between Imperial continent and Desolate continent. Otherwise, the traveling time would take longer than this for about three times."

Zhu Wushang explained, Tian Xiulan heard that, and her fury quickly subside. She's looking at the captain again.

Tian Xiulan thinks for a moment and answers.

"About a hundred years, why?"

"Great, That's more than enough time to build his own empire." Zhu Wushang Utter and sigh as he touched his glabella.

"Xiao Lan, Do you know why he started to betrayed your family now?" He asked as his wife shook her head in response. She really doesn't know the reason, maybe her parent or grandparent would know it.

"Why? Didn't he want your blood?" Tian Xiulan asked in confusion.

"What did you say?" Tian Xiulan asked in a panic, but before she gets her answer from her husband, the captain who goes outside for a while came back in to report with a paled face.

"Your Highness! Please evacuate! This is the sabotage all of our spare parts is disappeared, and the spirits engine is damaged beyond repair!"

"And the saboteur?" Tian Xiulan asked in a cold tone.

The Captain immediately kneeled in despair as he heard this question.

"This servant deserve to die a thousand time!"

"He escaped?"Tian Xiulan tone grew colder while Zhu Wushang face looked like he just heard something amusing.

"Oh? Interesting! I thought this saboteur would be the dead troops of Duke Tian Dong. But he even has the means to escape in this situation.?"

Tian Xiulan calmed down after she heard what her husband said.

"Husband? Does this means you can trace this saboteur back to their base of operation!?" She asked in amazement.

Zhu Wushang nod in confirmation.

"After we've arrived at the Great Phoenix Empire. I'll lend Blacky to you. This boy can easily track the smell and can also track the spirit qi signature of each individual." He Explained before driving his wheelchair to the door of the bridge.
