3 Alexander
-It has been two years since that day and a lot of things changed. Out of the one thousand people trapped in the OverWorld, only five hundred forty-nine survive this long, and Rin was one of them. He was faced with death four times already, and every time by some stray of luck he managed to kill those who came after his life and survive for this long. No, it wasn't a stray of luck it was his instinct to survive that helped.
-Becouse of a person trying to kill him in his sleep, now he only sleeps for three hours a day while the rest of the time is spent moving around and trying to find anything useful to charge his ability with. Food wasn't a problem, every time they woke up from sleeping either bread or meat would be next to them, the only rule was they needed to sleep at least three hours per day to get the food. He had to figure out that rule the hard way when he once didn't sleep for two entire days and had to starve until the next day.
-The lack of sleep wasn't such a big problem for him as he got used to it after a while, the real problem was this "Game". Except that they needed to survive they didn't know anything else If they survived would they get to go home, would they have to face Hora himself and what if they lost, then the past two years would have been for nothing.
-Those were the questions that were constantly on his mind.
-The place they were trapped in, The OverWorld as Hora called it, was made out of nothing but sand and occasionally some stones. There were also underground tunnels witch were already there or created by other people's abilities. It was when Rin decided to rest in one of those tunnels that he was faced with death the first time when a person tried to kill him in his sleep.
-It was good that you could hear echoes and footsteps in the caves as that was what saved him from his attacker and gave him enough time to plan a counter-attack with Little star.
-But the OverWorld wasn't endless as he found out in these past two years. After walking for a while you would reach something like a glass wall, so strong he couldn't even break it using his ability. It was like they were ants trapped in an ant farm, a pretty big one at that. Just in their case, it wasn't an ant farm but a massive hourglass.
"Rumble, rumble!"
-While moving from place to place, as usual, he noticed that there was a noise behind him, and it had been following him for a while now. Thoughts like "Is at an attacker" Or "their not really trying to be stealthy" went through his mind. He tried to play it safe and see if they would show themselves if he stayed still but that wasn't the case, they just stood hidden behind the massive boulder behind him. A little irritated and thought he was taken for a fool by the person he decided to talk to them.
"Who's there!?"
-Although he wasn't expecting them to just walk from behind the boulder with their hand in the air and announce their presence, Rin was left shocked as the man that had been following him did just that.
"Ahhh, my apologies I didn't mean to surprise you. I mean you no harm."
"Who are you?"
"Ah, of course, interactions, well my name is Alexander Daison and you are?"
-The man that introduced himself ever so politely was the same man that first spoke to Hora, looking at his appearance he wore expensive and well-made clothes and pieces of armor all the while having a long stick looking weapon wrapped in a blanket and tied with a bunch of bandages and carried it on his back. His appearance was a pleasant one, Golden hair that pulled more toward the brown color, gray eyes, and a cherry personality.
"Why should I tell you?"
-Alexander has something to him that Rin found weird, he seemed like a good person, someone he hasn't seen in a very long time. but none the less from what he could tell he was an enemy trying to get closer to him so he could kill him when he least expects it.
"Huh, why? Well because I told you my name, it's called manners, something you're clearly not werse in!"
-Already starting to get irritated by his attitude, Rin was preparing his fingers in order to take this guy out. but before he could do that.
"I don't need a stranger to give me a lesson in manners."
"It seems you do!"
-There was something about Alexander that Rin didn't understand, a feeling deep down his chest. a feeling he hasn't felt in such a long time. From what he could see he didn't seem like a bad person, so maybe, just maybe "there could be a chance!", he thought to himself.
"Rin Kanjo, there!"
"Well nice to meet you Rin, see That wasn't so hard."
-He told him his name and with a big smile and a face full of happiness, Alexander replied. The reason Rin told him his name was because he was lonely. For the past two years, he was alone, he didn't have a single person to talk to, so if there was a possibility, even the smallest one that Alexaned might end his lonely days, he decided to take it even if it leat to his death in the end. It was better than slowly decaying into madness.
"So what do you want, if you're trying to play the nice guy act to deceive me and then later kill me it ain't gonna work."
"First of all whats with that manner of speech, and secondly, I'm here to ask for an alliance."
"Alliance, What?"
-Rin was confused by those words Alexander spoke, the way he said them, they didn't seem like a bad thing nor did he seem like he wanted to hurt him, right now Rin felt like he didn't mess up by talking to him.
"You can't tell me you don't know what alliance means."
"Yeah, no clue."
"Alright, I'll teach you, So when two or more people decide to work together with the same goal in mind they team up and that's the meaning of alliance."
"So you want to team up with me, for what?"
"...To take out Hora."
-Hearing Alexander say those words made something inside of him spark, he wanted to get out of this place, to survive this death game and the more he thought about it facing Hora at the end was the only logical solution, so having someone with the same goal as him would make the job easier and it helped he was such a nice guy. Rin hasiteted to exapt his invitaion but did so in the end, he felt like he could trust him and his gut was never wrong before.
"Now your speaking, but how do I know you won't betray me?"
"There are no words I can say that will make you trust me completely but where I come from there's this thing we do that means we trust each other."
-Alexander bit into his finger and asked Rin to do the same, he was doing was a blood bond.
"I understand."
-Rin understood what alexander was doing and did the same, they made a blood pact of truth as they promised not to betray one another.
"If we're to take out Hora we'll need a plan, tell me Rin, what's your ability?"
"It's called Little start, I can take the energy from objects and use it as power. Its a prity simple ability but a useful one for battle as long as I can take a lot of energy."
"And Also, for example, say this sand we're standing on I can only take the energy of one little grain of it at a time, and its energy is almost nothing. If I want to produce a lot of power I would need something big as a bolder."
"It seems we're not too different, you and I, hahaha, let me explain, my ability is called "The merchant" and it allows me to take a persons life force and turn it into energy which I am able to transform into anything from grass all the way to a castle, I can probably make something bigger but I haven't tried to yet."
"The bigger my creations the longer it takes to create them and also the bigger it is the more life force it requires."
"That's pretty useful if we combine ur powers we can make a pretty good team, I think."-Rin was right their abilities were pretty compatible, Alexander could create objects that Rin could use to get more power. It was like destiny that the two met each other.
"Even if we make a good team we still don't have enough power to take out Hora, we should take our time, and load up on energy as well as make a good strategy."-Alexander had a point, if they planned to kill Hora they couldn't do it half-assedly, they needed to train and get a lot more powerful if they were to face someone like him and win.
"Yeah, that's a smart idea."
"Well thank you very much."-Alexander said while laughing.
-From that day onward Rin and Alexander started working together, because of the dangers they faced they decided to split the sleeping time. One of them sleeps for three hours while the other one keeps watch and then switch. While traveling they kept themselves occupied by talking about a lot of things they liked, not too long after Alexander took it in his hands to change the way Rin speaks and teach him new words and what he called the "Proper" manner of speaking. But he didnt do just that, there were a lot of small things he did for him that Alexander thought Rin didn't notice, but he did and apreshiated, such as going to sleep first just so RIn could sleep longer later, secretly gives him portions of his food because his body was still growing. Rin knew that he was doing all of those things and came to love Alexander very dearly. He also took it upon himself to teach him how a "Proper" man eats with was a show in and out itself.
-But the longest time was the one they spent in combat, day in and day out they would go and fight the other survivors.
-During those battles, Alexander saw just how weak Rin actually was. He used his ability and created a sword for him, It what then that every day that they spent fighting he thought Rin how to use a sword. Alexander himself was a swordsman, a highly classed one at that and in order to kill Hora he knew Rin needed to grow strong, much, much stronger and the only way he could teach him was to make him into a swordsman.
-As the days went by Rin came to love Alexander more and more, he was unlike anyone he had met. A strong and smart person but still caring and willing to teach a spoiled brat like him. He was truly glad he had met him.

"By the way, how old are you anyway Alexander, I have been wondering, you don't seem that much older than me but you're so grown up?"
"I was sixteen when I arrived here so now I'm 19, and you?"
"When I came here I was eleven, so now Im fourteen?"
"yes, it's been three years since this hell started, well I guess its better than home im sure."-said Alexander while looking at the campfire he made by creating some sticks and rubbing them together to start the fire.
"I'm sorry for asking, but I often told you about my problems and you always helped me with them but I never heard you talking about your home."
-In the past year that they spend together, Rin opened up to Alexander to the point he considered him as an older brother if not a father he never had. He often talked about his problems with him and how he actually felt. Alexander listened and gave him his honest words, they weren't always what he wanted to hear but they were the trough and he was happy having heard it because he knew he wouldn't lie to him.
"Hey Rin you have friends right, Finn and many more, right?"
"yes, kind of... only Finn, but I'm not sure he's my friend anymore."
-That moment was the first time Rin saw alexander sad, for the entire time he knew him this was the first time he showed him this side of him. Alexander turned his head from the fire and looked at Rin, with eyes that shouted sadness he promised him.
"I promise, I'll get you out of this place no matter what, until then just hold tight, and once your back make sure to apologize to Finn, I'm sure he'll forgive you."
-It was at that moment that Rin realized, even though he loved him dearly and considered him his closest friend a brother in a sort, he didnt actually know anything about him.
