Chapter 54: Lake Is No Lake Part One

After the five men in flying-fish robes all died in battle, the policemen of Guanle didn’t dare to linger around.

Police Chief Liu Feng was shivering on the side after his saber was knocked away, and he lost three teeth after being kicked. Seeing that those three murderous people stopped, he shrunk back and shivered, not daring to speak.

Fang Jie looked at these policemen coldly. Someone took the lead and threw away his saber, and others all copied him, ditching their weapons. Then, they stood together and raised their hands above their heads, showing that they wouldn’t resist.

Fang Jie sneered at them before walking to Liu Feng and asking, “Are there more roadblocks ahead?”

Liu Feng quickly replied, “Sir, we are working for the government, so we had to obey orders. We don’t want to block you, but we couldn’t go against our superior…”

“I didn’t ask you this!” Fang Jie replied while glaring at him and pointing at him with the saber.

Liu Feng shivered and thought that Fang Jie was going to strike him, and he collapsed onto the ground and groaned.

After not sensing any pain for a while, he slowly opened his eyes and saw that young man soaked in blood looking at him coldly.

Liu Feng quickly got up and replied, “No more… we are the only people blocking the way in Guanle County. Although there are tens of thousands of people living here, there are only a few dozens of policemen. Others are all our assistants. These misters from the Capital said that our assistants couldn’t do anything, so we didn’t bring them…”

Li Feng was still mumbling on, but Fang Jie wasn’t in the mood to listen to him.

Fang Jie slowly walked to a policeman who was about the same build as him, and he pointed at the neck of this policeman with his saber and ordered, “Take off your clothes.”

That man froze for a second before begging with a crying tone as fear flashed in his eyes, “Sir… please… I can’t serve you…”

That policeman quickly took off his outer clothes, but he didn’t stop there; he even took off his underclothes.

On the side, Mu Xiaoyao turned around with slight anger in her eyes.

This man was quite literal; he took off everything including his socks.

After he undressed himself, he saw Fang Jie quickly taking off his own clothes, and his face changed color. He murmured to himself, “My life is too tough.”

Seeing that none of his peers were willing to help him, this policeman clenched his teeth, knelt on his all fours, and said with a tragic tone, “Sir, please… be gentle.”

Fang Jie took off his clothes that were soaked in blood and changed into the one that man took off. Just as he was about to leave, he saw that naked policeman kneeling on all fours and shivering.

Fang Jie froze for a second and laughed before asking, “What is your name?”

“My name is Tie Yi…” that policeman turned around and answered with anger and shame, looking determined.

Fang Jie walked to him, kicked his butt, and said, “Tie Yi, right? You got a unique name. You have potential… I guess that you can’t work for the government anymore. I will point you in the right path. I heard that many people in big families are interested in men. How about you change your career…”

After saying that, Fang Jie jumped onto his red horse that was standing by the side of the road, waved his hand, and dashed away. Then, Da Quan and Mu Xiaoyao jumped onto their horses and followed, quickly disappearing.

That good-looking man named Tie Yi sat onto the ground, wiped the sweat off his forehead, and heaved a long sigh of relief.

“It is fortunate… It is fortunate…” he murmured to himself before looking up. Then, he saw his peers looking at him strangely. Especially his peer who was the closest to him; this man was staring at him without blinking.

“Luo Chenhe!” he shouted in anger, “You all get the f*ck away!”
