217 Pisces
To say that she was hideous would be an understatement. Hiding under the stone statue of a woman, was a grotesque-looking creature.
It was a humanoid creature with a cat head and a torso of a hairy human. Its hands were elongated arms that had feathers from its wrists up to its shoulders. The legs were talons from a falcon with claws made of gold.
She had two pairs of bat wings that were attached to her upper back and lower back and one more pair of featherless bird wings on each of its ankles.
"That looks hideous," Gary grinned awkwardly. "That's why she settled for that stone statue."
Libra glared at him and fired a black beam of energy right at them. Sun used his spear to deflect the attack, shooting it towards the skies instead.
The Zodiac growled and put a distance between them while they were still in the air. "How did you know all that?"
"It was quite simple," Sun said. "Perspective. Our perspective was different because we came from another direction. We saw the wards, we saw the cracks on your back. You didn't even know that your costume was breaking."
"How pathetic," Libra chuckled. "Then I guess this will be a war against us. But I'm not doing this alone. Pisces, help me out here."
The skies darkened as clouds covered the burning sun. Thunders and lightning paraded the dark clouds as two giant figures roamed above them.
"W-What are those?" Allen stuttered. His arm was fully healed after Libra's scale was removed.
"Don't think that for one second, I'm alone in this fight," Libra said. "The gods like to play a game so they gave the two weakest Zodiacs the immunity to Penalty."
Sun gulped as they watched two giant fish pierce from the clouds and fly towards them. One was a shark-like creature and the other looked like a giant sperm whale.
Each fish was roughly half the size of the entire camp. And two hovering above it was a terrifying sight to behold. Their combined length were the area of the camp, blocking any light from entering inside.
"What is wrong with you, Libra?" one of the fishes said. It was the shark one with a black color and white eyes. "What is it that you need?"
"Yin, I need to fight them," Libra said. "I can't do this on my own because there are too many of them."
"And these people are all Celestum wielders?" the other fish asked. It was a whale that was white and had pitch-black eyes.
Libra nodded. "Yes, Yang. Apart from that blind healer, the rest of them are Celestums. But that doesn't matter since we are immune to the Penalty."
"The Penalty isn't the thing we're worried about here, Libra," Yang said. "They have incredible powers. Are you sure that you wouldn't let Leo handle this?"
"You keep on talking about Leo when we're just as powerful as him," Libra growled. "Just help me kill them."
Both the fishes sighed as they started their attacks. It wasn't a question that with their size, they can only bring destruction. And that just happened.
The fish dove straight to the ground, instantly destroying everything in its path. Fortunately, since Libra's attack, there were no other Hunters present at the scene. Everyone fled and escaped.
"These fishes are gigantic," Jeremy gasped. "How can we kill them?"
"We can't use the Penalty, so it's quite impossible to find a way," Gwen said. "How will we do this, Allen?"
Allen was silent for a moment. He glanced at Sebastian who was silent since earlier, the man seemed to be in deep thought.
"What if we attack it and try how strong it is?" Allen asked. He used Stacy to launch stealth attacks at it, all her damage was blocked by Yin's hard scales.
Gary found a spot where he could shoot his bullets. He used a sniper rifle and fired a bullet at Yang, but his scales too were tough and impossible to penetrate.
"What if we just go straight in their eyes?" Gwen asked. "I can always pierce them with this and inject my venom into their bodies."
"With their size, even if you use up all of your venoms, it wouldn't work," Allen said. "Your venom can paralyze at least a single fin. I don't know if it will affect the rest of their bodies."
With the size of the fishes, any attacks that they could think of would just become problems. They couldn't use venom or poison, their attacks on the outside wouldn't even dent the scales.
"How will we do this?" Allen asked himself. It seemed like they got stuck at a dead end. There was nowhere else to go.
"These things are really annoying."
A familiar voice sighed. Cory appeared and slashed his sword right at Yang's eyes. The giant fish who was diving around the ground of the camp screamed in pain as the man took out its other eye.
"They're just summons," Ash said. "The real Pisces is found right by Leo's side. That person does not go out of the sunlight."
She pointed at Yin and sighed. "Tremble."
The giant fish who just pulled itself up in the air suddenly shook violently. It was screaming in pain as it slowly bled from all of its openings.
"That skill is really terrifying," Cory shivered after seeing what happened to the black fish. He continued to slash his sword at Yang, from which all of his attacks pierced through the scales.
"They're so strong," Sebastian whispered in shock. "They immediately beat the two giant fishes."
"That's because Pisces is our mortal enemy," Ash said. "We prepared our countermeasures against that guy."
Ash explained that the way the fishes worked was like the Body Creator. The only difference was that this one could manifest giant creatures such as the fishes.
This was a powerful Code, worthy of its title as a Celestum. And Pisces, the one who wields it maximized all of its potentials.
"The fight…" a voice spoke from the still darkened skies. "Has just begun."
