216 Libra's Tricks

This Zodiac was Libra. The scale on her hand represented balance, but not the usual balance. It balanced her light and dark powers, which she both has high mastery over.

She hovered to where Allen's group was. "Interesting. It seems like I cannot hurt you.

Libra pointed at them and struck a black beam straight through Allen's shoulder. The boy gasped but he had no time to react. The attack was too fast for him to comprehend.

"Allen!" Gwen gasped and ran towards him. "Are you okay?"

"I-I am…" Allen trailed off as he pointed at Libra. "But why didn't she turn to stone just like Scorpio?"

They looked at Libra who was still smiling at them. The darkness in her smile was evident, showing all signs of killing intent. She wasn't hiding anything at all, and she wasn't scared to show them all of it.

"I guess we have to fight her," Allen said. He waited for his wounds to heal, but his eyes widened in shock when they didn't. "What?"

Sebastian also tried to heal him, but it didn't work. His wound was still open and they were bleeding.

"Does it hurt?" Libra smirked. "That's because all of the wounds inflicted by me will stay until I die. You can try to heal them, you can try to freeze yourself in time, but the wound will continue to be open."

"What terrifying skill," Sebastian whispered. "But do not fret. Sun and Bernard will be here soon."

"Will they?" Gwen sighed and conjured the scorpion's stinger on her hand. "Then we'll have to wait until they arrive and delay this monster."

"I can't fight," Allen said. "But they can."

He summoned his three Bodies. The wound on his shoulder was big and it struck through his flesh. He couldn't possibly wield his sword at the moment.

"Bodies," Sebastian whispered. "I forgot that you have those."

Allen brushed the man's words and focused on Libra. He sent the three Bodies to fight her along with his friends.

Gwen was a healer but now she can also deal blows as an assassin. Her movements were swift and she could turn invisible at will.

But all of those seemed useless against Libra.

She was invisible when she launched herself from the ground and straight to Libra's face. The woman narrowed her eyes and used her scale to slam into Gwen's body, blowing her away back to the ground.

"What was that?" Gwen said in shock. "But I'm invisible."

"All-Seeing Eye," Libra closed her two eyes, and one opened right on her forehead. "I can see everything around me whether they are invisible or not."

"How is this even possible?" Gwen could only mutter to herself.

"This is always how strong they are," Allen said. "Remember, we were no match for Scorpio. We were lucky that he was struck with the penalty. If not, this would've been our case back then.

"But we are much stronger now," Allen continued. "This woman is no match for us if we all stick together and attack at once."

They all nodded and did as what Allen said. Sebastian gave them the protection and buff they needed to be able to get near her.

"These bubbles are amazing," Jeremy cheered as he got nearer Libra. The bubbles were around them but whenever they would walk on the ground or where they step on, it would pass through the bubble.

It was made that it would only break when suffering from attacks. Things like the ground or any obstacle would simply pass through them.

"That kind of skill is something that you shouldn't do," Libra said. "It's filled with holes. Especially since I am the one who can see the holes."

Libra conjured giant swords that were made of plastic. It was made of the material but the sharpness was no less than the metal swords.

"That's–"

Before Jeremy could even finish his words, the swords were fired at them. Just as expected, it would pass through the bubbles. The only ones that these bubbles would block were attacks that were magic.

"How can we really fight this woman?" Jeremy asked as he landed on the ground. "It seems impossible to fight her when she has all these things."

"Allen?" Gary called out. "What do you think?"

They all turned towards Allen but gasp when they saw the boy shaking on the ground. His eyes rolled to the back of his head and he kept shaking.

"What is happening?" Gary asked. "Is it because of the wound?"

Libra chuckled. "Maybe, or maybe not. I don't know."

"Spearhead Strike!"

Out of nowhere, Sun appeared and slammed his spear right on Libra's face.

The Zodiac wasn't given a chance to react because her face was kicked that caused her to be thrown away.

"How come I didn't see you?" Libra growled. "My All-Seeing Eye–"

"Is merely nothing but spies everywhere," Bernard was on the ground carrying ten eyes that had wings on them. The eyes were cut at the middle, blinding them.

"You're just so smart," Sun said. "And you have high magic perception. You calculated where Gwen would travel from where she ran, and then used your magic perception to accurately detect where she was."

"And your façade of this wound?" Bernard smirked. He took a knife from his pocket and took a small object on Allen's shoulder. "It's because of this small scale that you left behind. This deactivates the magic around it. That was why Allen couldn't regenerate and Seb couldn't heal him."

"You are not formidable," Sun said. "You're just filled with party tricks."

Bernard leaped towards them and slammed his axe through Libra's neck. "But the party's over. Come out of there."

"My only ability was that I couldn't get affected by the penalty," Libra said. "That's why I did my best to gather Codes to look powerful, and now you're going to ruin it?"

The stone statue crumbled, revealing Libra's true form. "How dare you?!"
