209 Liam's Trial
Unless Liam had a Code in him that allowed him to suppress Allen's instincts, then he was telling the truth.
He was not Roger Huntsman.
Allen wanted to fall back in despair after he lost all hope to find the justice for Roger Huntsman's victims.
"If it's not you, then who?" Allen repeated. "There can only be one Roger Huntsman and he should've been the leader of Barandilla, no one else."
"That's what I think so too if I was in your position," Liam said. "But please also consider how big of a power gap the Bearers have against me. I don't even know if I could win against Kenneth."
While he was still skeptical, Allen had no choice but to agree with Liam. The Bearers did have power levels that exceeded everyone else and it wasn't really that easy to catch up to them even when the race towards Star Nest almost has its winner."
"And you believe in everything that he said?" Jeremy sighed. "Allen, you have a knack for trusting people easily."
"I agree with Jeremy," Gwen said as she pointed her stinger on Liam's neck. "He's a guy who made a living out of killing people for his own gain. How can we trust him?"
"I kill people, yes," Liam nodded. "But I don't hide anything. I really am not Roger Huntsman. If I was, then I would've beaten all of you. You know how easily he disabled Drake, right? You're still too far from their powers."
Allen was both relieved and worried about what Liam just said. On one hand, he was relieved that he was yet to face Roger Huntsman but worried because Liam was right.
They were still far from Roger Huntsman's powers, and the next time that they encounter the real one, then it would be the end for them. He needed to get even stronger.
"What do we do now?" Jeremy asked. "Liam is not Roger Huntsman and we still have more problems to deal with."
Dennis walked towards them. Behind him were Sun, the Monkey Bearer, and Claire, the Rooster Bearer. They arrested Liam and immediately placed him in a cage that was fortified with several layers of magic and technology.
"His magic will be disabled inside that cage in three…" Claire counted down. "Two, and one."
Almost instantly, six balls of light returned to Liam. These were his Bodies that he sent away. The moment that Claire disabled his magic, the power to provide the Bodies vanished too, hence why they returned to him."
"Thank you for catching Roger Huntsman for us," Sun said. "He will be placed under trial–"
"But he's not Roger Huntsman," Allen said. "He confessed to me and I'm sure that he's not the person."
"We have no other leads as to who Roger Huntsman really is, and the people are panicking," Sun said. "What do you think, we as the highest authority among humans, should do?"
When Allen fell silent, Sun followed. "That's right. We need to maintain order in our world and that order will never come if the people are scared of Roger Huntsman.
"So, you're going to take Liam and make him carry all the blame?" Allen asked. "That doesn't sound like it's ethical."
"As well as the seventy victims of this guy and Barandilla on Earth alone," Claire said. "I also don't think that it's ethical, so you have the choice of which ethical you're going for."
"He's in a trial for a lot of cases, child," Dennis sighed. "I know it's hard for us to determine which is which at the current moment, but more or less he will be charged the same."
Allen felt hopeless the moment Dennis spoke those words. He realized that he lacked so much at the moment. He lacked power just like Liam said, and this time he lacked the influence.
He felt so small in front of the Bearers that even when he too is one, there was no way he could match up to them in his current state.
"What will happen to him in the trial?" Allen couldn't help but ask. "Will he be executed?
"I don't do the trial nor listen to it because it's hella boring," Sun sighed. "I don't do those stuff, man."
"I also don't often go to the trials unless I'm part of the jury," Claire said. "But if we really want to file the Roger Huntsman case on him, then most likely he'd ended up his head off of his body."
"Please don't let them," Allen said to Claire. "I know your instincts are sharpened. If you ask him your question and he answer, you would know if he's telling the truth or not."
Claire raised her right brow but didn't say anything. She walked behind Sun who was carrying the cage in which Liam was held captive.
"Alright," Dennis slammed his hands together. "Now, the other Hunters will find out where Barandilla is and this will be all over."
Allen wanted to force a smile, but he couldn't. He looked at the sky and sighed. "Lewis, take care of your brother now."

There was a large gathering in the Grand Court on Earth. The Grand Court was composed of a jury that was also the core members of the organization of Hunters. On top of them, all was the Grand Judge which was the highest order in the law implementing body of Earth.
"Judge Stephanie O'halla," Liam smirked as he watched the judge walk to her spot. She was looking at Liam with furious eyes as she sat down and slammed her mallet. "It's been a while since I saw something as perfect as you are."
Everyone was silent as Liam widened his smirk. He was now standing while never leaving his gaze from the judge. "Who is your master?"
"Excuse me?" Stephanie scoffed. "You are delusional, Liam."
"No," Liam said. "I mean, who is your original body? I know a Body when I see one and you definitely are one."
There was a loud explosion that came from outside and then three people entered the court from a hole that they created.
"Hello, hello," a tall man said. "What is up?"
Liam narrowed his eyes, "Vince?"
He was not Roger Huntsman.
