207 Disco Skeleton

"This is a twisted act, even for you, Pia," Liam chuckled while looking at the ashes. "Love really is a crazy thing."

"Liam," Leah called out. "What do we do with this one?"

"Return to your original Body," Liam said to Allen.

The latter felt the hair of his body stood. He was in his Stacey's Body, yet he felt fear as though Liam was looking right at his original body.

"I-I…"

"Return," Liam commanded.

Suddenly, Allen felt himself get pulled in different directions. His Body was recalled forcefully, causing him to take a huge deep breath when he recovered his consciousness.

"What happened?" Jeremy walked over to him and asked. "Did something happen?"

"Liam knows," Allen said. "I don't know if he knows my real identity, but he knows that I was in a Body."

"How will we stop him now?" Gwen asked. "If Liam is indeed a leader of Barandilla, then he must be someone who's strong and capable."

Knock. Knock.

There was a series of calm knocks on their door. Allen used Oliver's body to open it, seeing Dennis there with Kenneth behind him.

"We need to talk," Kenneth said.

"Liam is already at the peak of Eternity," Dennis announced. "He kept his status well hidden all this time, hiding from everyone as he formed connections under the table."

"He established Barandilla long before he rose in power," Kenneth added. "Liam Lewis is a man who's the same caliber as the Primordial Beast Bearers. It wouldn't come to a surprise if he's also Roger Huntsman."

"That's still a stretch, but not entirely impossible," Dennis said. "Roger Huntsman has the same league as Liam. If we could match up something that links them, then this case will be pretty much be over."

"What if we frame them?" Allen asked. "But I think Liam is too smart for that. What do you suggest we do, Dennis?"

"I'm still looking at Sebastian's decisions," Dennis sighed. "His decision is more unorthodox than ours and the rest of our suggestions."

"What did he say?" Allen asked.

"To march into Barandilla's headquarters and annihilate them in a surprise," Dennis sighed. "The thing between this plan si that Liam could might as well par their powers. Assuming he's Roger Huntsman, then he could easily defeat both Kenneth and Louis in a match. The rest of the Bearers wouldn't stand a chance."

"But we don't know until we try," Allen said. "I don't disagree with Sebastian's plan. I know where their base is, and I know– wait, how did you know we were here?"

"Lin is a close friend of mine," Kenneth said. "The moment you vanished in Paradise, I knew that Lin had something to do with it. I asked her where you are and she led me to you."

"Did someone follow you?" Allen asked. "Maybe someone had their eyes on you and followed you here?"

"I have a great security team," Dennis said. "You don't have to worry about–"

He was cut off when they heard a loud explosion outside. The group decided to check it out and exited the apartment, only to see that the several cars that Dennis's men drove were lit in flames.

Not one of his men survive but ccd. The ones who managed to get out of their vehicles were cut through their bodies with something. It was obvious that they were being attacked.

"It seems like I have to eliminate more people than I initially thought," Liam said as he walked from the shadows. "Welcome to my stage. Everyone in here is a dancer."

A bright giant square made of smaller squares lit up from the ground. It was like a disco dance floor because of its style and the colors that lit on each tile.

"What in the hell is this?" Allen growled. "Liam Lewis, what is this?"

"A dance floor," Liam shrugged. "What else did it look like?"

Suddenly, a giant skeleton appeared from the ground. It wore a disco outift befor walking inside the tiles. "Let's dance."

The skeleton suddenly conjured a giant axe which it swung and smashed the ground with. Allen and the others managed to dodge the attack because the size of the skeleton was able to hinder it by slowing its movements.

"How do we defeat this?" Gwen asked. "I have a weapon here."

"Pins of Thriving," Dennis cast and thrw multiple rounds of giant needles at the skeleton. It only screamed and the needles hit it, but it didn't flinch.

"Attacking it is no use," Allen said. "It's a skeleton. I don't think it even feels pain."

"Then what do you suggest we do, then?" Dennis asked. "We need to defeat this monster now or it will only get bigger."

Allen stepped on a tile and it changed color. He tilted his head on the side and stepped on another tile, the same changin of color happened. He then looked at the skeleton and its movements.

He could now see a pattern between its movements. It would take a series of uniform steps before slashing its weapon at them. Each time he steps on the tiles, a sound would produce like a melody but for a jolly like a disco music.

"Oh," Allen grinned. "Everyone! I need your help in order to defeat this monster."

"What do you suggest we do?" Jeremy asked. "Its movements are slow, but his attack power is absolutely terrifying. One blow and it will be the death of you."

"Watch its feet," Allen said.

The skeleton moved at the same direction in the tiles as it did before. Allen instructed every to copy the skeleton's steps but it was harder for them to do it.

The size of each tile was about two meters in all sides and sometimes, a pattern needs two tiles to be activated. Doing it one by one would be impossible.

"Now, I know," Allen grinned and stepped on one tile. He pointed at Jeremy. "Step on that."

Jeremy did as was instructed and stepped on the tile two tiles away from Allen. Their tiles glowed and the music came on.

"Now I know," Allen grinned. "Prepare to die!"
