201 The Gods
"All A and B ranked Hunters, report to the breech immediately!" the announcer's voice blasted through the speakers.
Hunters that were A and B ranked did as was told and ran to the wall that was destroyed immediately. They started the fight with the Serratas, but it was obvious that the Hunters were losing.
"Stay here," Bernard said to Allen and his friends while him, Remy, and Sebastian ran outside to help.
It was now Allen, Jeremy, Gary, and Gwen along with the captured attackers. The men were smiling and the one who was sleeping opened his eyes.
"You're finally awake, March," the first attacker said. "Take us out of here."
"Goodbye," March said, his eyes widening as the other attackers' body fidgeted. They were shaking, eyes rolling to the back of their heads while a mist of a pale blue light exited their bodies. The light traveled to March who opened his mouth and sucked in the mist.
"Power," March said and instantly snapped the chains that were binding him. He stood and kicked the metal chair he was sitting on, creating a large hole on the wall and pierced through several more walls that it reached the exit.
"Don't move," Gary threatened. He pointed his gun at March who was expressionless while watching Gary. "Or else I won't hesitate to shoot."
"Oh," March nodded. "Alright."
He lunged towards Gary. The latter aimed his gun and pulled the trigger, March smirking as he pointed his palm at the gun. "Distortia."
Bang!
March was shot right in his shoulder. The force of the bullet was so strong that it blew him away, crashing to another wall. "Oh? My ability does not work."
"His ability is controlling weapons," Allen immediately realized. "He will try to control your weapons, but it did not work on Gary."
"Celestum," March and Allen chorused.
"Celestums are absolute creations," March said. "Therefore my ability does not work on it. How nice."
"Guys, only use Celestum weapons," Allen said.
"What will you use?" Jeremy asked. "Your Celestums are skills."
"Have you forgotten?" Allen smirked. He conjured his scythe and pointed it at March. "I have this one."
"So, all of you have Celestums?" March grinned. "Let me take a peek then. I will gladly get rid of the bothersome Celestums for you. Then you'll be free to live your miserable lives however you want."
"That sounds nice," Gwen nodded. "But we'll have to pass."
With Allen wielding the Blood Scythe from the Great Ruby Gem, Jeremy wielded the Evergreen Spear from the Great Emerald Gem, Gary wielded the modified Crystal Gun from the Great Diamond Gem, and Gwen held the Scorpion Claw from the Zodiac Scorpio.
March smiled. "Four Celestums. And probably more from you."
"Attack!" Allen yelled, launching themselves at March who also did the same.
–
"Will they be alright?" Remy asked Sebastian who was the one leading them towards the battle between the horde of Serratas. "I mean, the attackers are chained, but we never know when will they attack. They have trick up their sleeves, you know that."
"I know," Sebastian said. "But we can't let this hinder their growth. This way, they will have another Code from another race."
"The Code Collector," Bernard said. "Are you sure it's him? Is it really Allen?"
"The only way to find out is to lead them to the scenario where the Code will show him what it's capable of," Sebastian said. "The Otherworldly have always been picky with which world they choose to live."
"It's unfortunate that yours wasn't chosen," Remy sighed.
"That's why I vowed to do everything in my power to help the worlds," Sebastian said. "The Zodiacs are the only ones that have been neglecting my orders."
"Sebastian," Bernard halted. He pointed at something which made Remy turn to look at while Sebastian only sighed.
"I didn't think we would see something like this so soon," Sebastian said. "This shouldn't have happened until the Code Collector has taken three of the same Celestums and the Gods try to hunt him."
"Remy, cover me," Bernard said. The woman nodded and used a skill to boost Bernard's power.
The man fired himself to the giant Serrata which had the figure of a baby. It was horrendous to look at considering it was the size of a ten story building building, but it was a baby.
"Die!" Bernard slashed his axe, cutting the Serrata in half before it could even react to him.
Right after that, three normal Serratas appeared. They raised their hands, and pointed their palms at Bernard. The Serratas did not hesitate to fire their beams at Bernard, the latter only spinning as he let Sebastian cast a shield bubble around him.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
"That was close," Bernard gasped. "What the hell are these?"
"Humans turned Serratas," Sebastian said. "The same type of Serratas that attacked us the other day."
"They can't defeat the Celestum wielders, do they decided to attack the entire camp," Bernard groaned. "This is too bothersome."
Meanwhile, Allen and his friends were having a hard time defeating March. Even when there were already four of them, the man seemed to have overpowered them in every aspect.
"I have something to tell you," March said. "I'm not from Earth."
Their eyes widened at the revelation. When March saw this, he only grinned and shrugged. "I'm actually from another planet, much like the Zodiacs, the Gems, and…"
"Hades!"
A voice called out from the skies. Three women lowered themselves from the heavens and faced March, who was revealed to have the Code of the God Hades.
"This is none of your concern," March said. "You can go ahead and leave this place or else I will get really angry."
"You have helped the Zodiacs destroy the Gems, but you shall not destroy the Beasts," Persephone warned. "Leave this place or else–"
"Or else what?" March laughed. "Don't bite off more than you could chew."
March hovered in the air and four giant Serratas crawled behind him. The Serratas roared while March stood above them. "Goodbye, everyone."
