194 Serratas vs Celestum Wielders 2

Jeremy leaped from building to building to avoid the attacks from Allen's Serrata opponent. His next goal was to reach Gary so they could switch opponents.

Since Gary had a gun which was good in long ranged combat, he was a better suit to fight against this Serrata who could fire magic bullets from a long distance.

One thing he noticed was how the Serrata didn't seem to have a lock on just one of them. They have initial targets, but after Allen and him switched enemies, the Serrata that Allen previously fought was now following him.

Whoosh. Whoosh.

As Jeremy was running from the rooftop of the buildings, he was being rained with the magic bullets that the Serrata was firing. He was having a hard time with it especially since the Serrata that targeted Gary brought the man away from them.

"Hey, Gary!" Jeremy yelled after he finally saw his friend. Gary was in a tight spot. He was being bombared with strikes and slashes from a Serrata who had a great sword with it. Gary barely manages to defend himself with his Diamond Sniper using the blade on the sniper thay was originally from the Diamond Sword.

"A little help, here," Gary yelled when his foot reached the end of the roof. "I can't seem to defend myself with this one. He's too fast and strong."

"Shoot the Serrata behind me and I'll take care of the one you have," Jeremy yelled.

Gary turned his head to find the Serrata that Jeremy mentioned. "In the count of three, push this Serrata off of me and I'll shoot the one that you have."

"Alright," Jeremy yelled. He prepared to launch himself right into the Serrata that was trapping Gary. "One…"

"Two…" Gary continued.

The both of them chorused and moved in synchronization. "Three!"

In a flash, Jeremy thew his body right to where the Serrata that was trapping Gary and swung his spear across its face that managed to push the Serrata off.

When the pressure on his gun was lost, Gary instantly kneeled on one knee and aimed his sniper on the hovering Serrata. "Goodbye Bullets Fest."

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Three bullets were fired in a second. Each bullet was packed with a dense energy that pierced through the Serrata's chest and shoulder. It fell to the ground with a loud thoud, making Gary smirk. "Gotcha."

While Gary finished his fight, Jeremy was also winning his own. He had the upper hand agains this Serrata because it had slow movements compared to him. Although it also had an incredibly powerful strikes, as long as he maintains his speed, he will win this.

Clank! Clank!

Their weapons crashed against each other. The spear that went up against the large sword created sparks as their blades grind up against each other.

"This is a harsh fight," Jeremy chuckled. He crouched down and swing his spear around him, swerving the Serrata off of its feet and let it fall to the ground. Jeremy the finished the job by piercing his spear right through the Serrata's head.

Its blood oozed on the rooftop concrete floor, dripping with continued flow. The Serrata then looked at Jeremy, making the man take a few steps back in shock. "What the hell…"

"The Celestums will perish," the Serrata said. "They will perish!"

With those words, the Serrata succumbed to its death. Another odd thing about it was that it did not vanish like the regular Serratas. Instead, it laid on the ground lifelessly like a human would.

"Gary?" Jeremy called out. "What the hell is this?"

"Look at that," Gary said while he watched from his scope. "The Serrata did not vanish."

The Serrata that Gary shot three times laid on the floor right by the street. A crowd had gathered around it and watched as the Serrata's blood dripped from its body.

"But how?" Jeremy asked. "Serratas vanished into nothingness after they die. These ones did not."

"That's what I also want to know," Gary sighed. He walked over to Jeremy's Serrata opponent and inspected its body. "What's this?"

He tapped the blazer of the Serrata and took a card from its inside pocket. They both looked at each other, gasping after they read what was on the card.

"This a social security card," Gary said. "And look at the address."

"But that's in Earth!" Jeremy gasped. "Could it be?"

They both watched the corpse as they gulped in the realization. "Is it a human?"

Meanwhile, Allen was fighting Jeremy's Serrata opponent. Itad a long pole weapon with it, most likely to counter the Jade Spear that Jeremy had. Allen thinks that he was at a disadvantage against it, but he this was better than fighting against the one with the long ranged magic bullets.

Allen contined pouring his attacks at the Serrata but it could counter all of them. It was the same way when the Serrata tries to attack him, he could defend all of them.

Allen knew that these creatures does have a plenty amount of stamina, so he knows that he was at a huge disadvantage if this fight goes for a long time. He had to finish this quickly.

Allen switched weapons from the Aqua Lance to the Fervent Glaive. This weapon was a lower grade weapon, but he can compensate its weaker grade with his other Code skills. After all, he had mastered activating several Codes at once.

"Hiya!" Allen yelled and vanished from his spot. He reappeared behind the Serrata, activating several Codes at once to increase his power.

With a swift slash from his glaive, Allen was about to cut the head of the Serrata when a punch on his gut made him lose his balance and throw to the side of the rooftop.

Allen coughed, seeing a cloaked figure get near him. It haf a shape of a man and the brown cloak made him remember a scene from the cameras on Drake Nelson's assassination. This was one of those people.

One of the ones who killed Drake Nelson.
