190 Scorpio
Allen returned to the camp in shock. The lights were black and a light that shown Louis's face was shown in the Skill Altar. He shook his head and immediately ran to Sebastian's unit, seeing the man there.
The room was heavily damaged with all the furnitures ripped and some of the walls were taken down. Claw marks were visible everywhere.
"Sebastian, what happened?" Elliot asked. "What's going on?"
"He was killed," Sebastian said, standing up from the broken sofa and sighed. "Both Kenneth and Louis werr attacked, but Louis couldn't make it. He got caught by the beasts."
"But who killed them?" Allen asked. "Is it Roger Huntsman?"
"There's nobody else that could do it," Bernard said as he walked out of Kenneth's room. "Kenneth is in the other unit. We're just here to tell you this. I will be going on a meeting with all the other Board Officials. They have basically taken three of us."
"And the twins?" Sebastian asked. "Where are they?"
"They said that they'll be back," Jeremy replied. "We have new information about the other humans. Now all we have to do is use this information to our advantage."
"Information?" Bernard asked. "You cannot share that with the Board Officials. You know one of them is still Roger Huntsman. If he knows your plan, it will be the end for all of us."
"He won't," Allen said. "Because you won't be giving it to them. This is going to be between us and whatever's out there."
"Is that so?"
A voice suddenly spoke from nowhere. Everyone raised their guards, conjuring their weapons and raised it defensively.
"Scorpio is here, you have nowhere to run now!"
There was a camouflaged creature that stood beside Sebastian. Allen saw this and was about to run to him, but Bernard beat him to it.
"Hiya!"
A large scorpion claw was launched, but Bernard blocked it with his sword. The camouflaged creature finally revealed itself, a man that was on a crawling position with a scorpion claw attached to his lower back.
"Get out of Scorpio's way!" the man growled. "You have no business here, so move or else Scorpio will make it that it's the last day for you on Earth!"
"Try me, then," Bernard yelled and pushed the claw out.
Scorpio vanished again, camouflaging completely in the surroundings. They could make out his footsteps, but they were faint and sounded fake.
He had claws on both his hands and legs, but the footsteps they hear were gentle thuds. It wasn't a trustworthy sound, so they decided to form a circle and wait for Scorpio to attack.
"Here it is!" Allen yelled when he saw the large claw approach Gwen. "He's attacking the healers first!"
Jeremy used his spear to block the claw. He pushed the claw out before spinning and thrusting the head of his spear to Scorpio.
"Argh!" Scorpio kneeled even closer to the ground, dodging the attack from the Jade Spear. "Scorpio can easily avoid these kinds of attacks."
Jeremy was pushed away by the claw, crashing through the wall and straight to the next room.
"Jeremy!" Allen yelled. He was about to run to his friend, but Sebastian stopped him before he could even go.
"Do not break the circle," Sebastian growled. He shot a blue bubble at the direction of the crash where Jeremy was. The bubble popped with energy pouring into Jeremy to heal him. "I healed him. He's fine now."
Allen nodded. They reformed the circle with Sebastian and Gwen on the inner circle. The ones who had offensive capabilities, so they were on the outer circle.
"He's agile and his strength is not to be dealt with lightly," Sebastian warned. "Be cautious."
The stealth that Scorpio was showing them was no joke. He was highly mobile and his movements were hard to be seen on the eyes.
If you don't pay close attention to your surroundings, you won't even last a second against him. That was how strong he was.
"Scorpio likes it when his prey huddles," Scorpio's voice echoed around the room, bouncing everywhere that it was impossible to detect where it came from. "Scorpio can hunt them all in one shot!"
He appeared above them, throwing his claw in front of him as he spiraled down, creating a wheel.
"Blockage Path," Sebastian thrust his right palm above him, creating a giant bubble that blocked Scorpio's attack. The latter shrieked before disengaging. He leaped above the bubble and spun again, continuously doing so until he heard a crack.
"Yes!" Scorpio yelled. He slammed his claw at the bubble to push threw up. He then slammed all of his limbs at the ceiling so he could land on the ground faster, spinning as he fell to create an even more faster wheel.
Gwen touched Sebastian's chest. "Reinforce."
Her skill allowed her to strengthen the shield that Sebastian put up. The crack on the shield vanished and they were now confident that they can withstand this attack.
"Desert Storm!" Scorpio yelled and suddenly tilted so he was spinning on the other plane.
He landed on top of the bubble but continued spinning, slowly forming a storm above him. This made Scorpio laugh, but he didn't stop. He kept on spinning until he heard a familiar sound.
Crack! Crack. Crack…
"Oh, no," Gwen gasped as they watched the bubble shatter into a thousand pieces.
Scorpio leaped to the side and vanished again. The group returned to their position and formed a circle.
"You can finally die!" Scorpio appeared in front of Sebastian. He fired his claw just in time for a figure to stand in front of the blind man. Blood spilled everywhere.
No one could move as Bernard's body fell to the ground.
"No!" Scorpio yelled. "Why did you block Scorpio's attack?!"
"You talking in third person is annoying," Bernard growled and coughed while Scorpio fell back.
"No!" Scorpio yelled, raising his arms to the skies as if he was trying to reach something, but his body had turned into stone.
"What the…" Gwen felt something shoot towards her. She gasped and realized that it was Scorpio's Code.
'Zodiac Scorpio Code gained.'
