189 He Couldn't Make I
"S-She what?" Allen couldn't believe what he just heard from the twins.
"Leo wanted to end everything in their planet," Ash said. "He realized the Gems could actually defeat the final boss, that was why he wanted to end them."
"And to do that, he needed to sabotage them," Corry continued. "He chose one of the two strongest Hunters in their planet, Chara and the tasked her to plot an issue among the gems so they would fight each other. He succeeded."
"So, the gems killed each other off?" Jeremy asked, making Ash nod.
Corry tapped his sister's shoulder and smiled at her bitterly. "Yes. The gems killed each other. Without them, the planet didn't have anyone stong enough to reach the final world. Their trial period ended and they all perished."
"We have a friend in their planet," Ash chuckled bitterly as she wiped her tear that started to to fall from her eyes. "We raised that girl from the orphanage, trained her. But we didn't know she would get backstabbed by her own best friend just because Chara was jealous of her achievements."
They went inside the room that was similar to Chara's. This room was filled with marble furniture and dried out plants.
"This was the room of Lana's lover, Lexus," Corry said. "Lexus was the bearer of the Great Ruby Gem, and he had a weapon called Blood Scythe."
Corry went to the bed and pulled down the blanket, revealing a skeleton of a man. The skeleton had a red crystal orb in where its heart was supposed to be. Corry took this orb and smashed it to the ground.
The crystal revealed a smaller ball of light. Corry instructed Allen to take it. The boy did as was told. He leaned down and took the ball, only for it to glow brighter and enter his body.
'Great Ruby Gem Code received.'
"What?" Allen gasped. "I got it."
"This was Lexus," Ash introduced. "Due to one of the Gem's skills, he was rendered lifeless. His body froze and his life force deteriorated."
"Before he perished, we took him here and sealed the Code," Corry said. "If we didn't seal it, the Code would've left his body and seek the nearest Hunter. That person would've gained the Code instead."
"And how come this room wasn't affected by the reset?" Allen asked. "You said that after the trial period, the Otherworlds would reset, right? How come it wasn't the case for this one, and Chara's room?"
"We placed fortification in this room," Corry said, pointing at the murals on the walls of the marble cave. "These murals are like signs that would hide this specific place from the reset."
"But that doesn't matter yet," Ash said. "We have to move faster. I think since you appeared, Leo will have another spy in the Celestums. The spy will start a war and would end your world entirely."
"But who could the spy be?" Allen asked. "I don't think it's one of Bernard's circle. They were continuously harassed by Roger Huntsman in every way possible, even taking two Codes from them."
"If Roger Huntsman is indeed someone from the Primordial Beast Bearers, then why aren't the Gods acting against them?" Gwen asked the twins to which they answered with a shrug.
"It's either this Roger Huntsman is too strong for them, or they don't actually hunt two Celestum wielders?" Jeremy thought out loud. "I think it's the latter. If they really do regulate the Celestums, then they should've acted out."
"But they didn't," Allen whispered. "Then why?"
"The first one," Corry said. "This Roger Huntsman is making the Gods a run for their money. This person has gotten too strong that even they couldn't deal with him."

"Remy?" Kenneth was sitting on the bed, watching over the window as he called out the name. "Remy are you there?"
There was no answer. Kenneth tilted his head to the side in confusion. He stood and walked out of the door, only for him to gasp in shock after he saw three familiar giant dogs. "W-What?!"
The dogs growled as they slowly approached the shaking Kenneth. They strided slolwy as they got closer to the boy.
"Don't come near me," Kenneth threatened. "How did you even get here?"
The dogs barked before lunging towards Kenneth. The boy shrieked before entering his room, making the dogs slam on the metal door of his room. The metal was bent after the dogs crashed on it.
"Where are you, Remy?!" Kenneth cried. "Sebastian? Bernard?! Help!"
The dogs outside of the room howled before slamming their heads on the wall. Each time they do it, the wall would get even more bent and the cement wall would slolwy crack.
It wouldn't be long for the door and wall to finally give up, so Kenneth had to muster his courage and save himself. He stood and sighed, equipping a weapon Code in a form of boots. "Wind Boots. Let's dance."
One more collision and the wall fell apart. Kenneth leaped off of the ground and slammed his feet into a wall so it could lift him off of the ground. He then spun with one of his legs out, kicking one of the dogs in the face.
When he landed, Kenneth used the ability of the boots he used to move swiftly. He dashed from side to side, leaping into walls like a rubber ball jumping all around.
"I'm at a disadvantage," Kenneth said to himself. "Apart from the fact that I am outnumbered, I also lost my Code."
One more leap, spin, and kick that he landed on another dog. When the beasts growled, Kenneth didn't let it bother him. He continued his movements until all the dogs fell to the ground, defeated by the boy.
Kenneth stood in front of the beasts. He fell to his knees right before the door could open and Remy walking inside. "Oh, my god. What happened?"
"Doesn't matter," Kenneth grinned. "I defeated them."
"But Louis didn't," Remy said sadly. "He was attacked in the hospital. He couldn't make it."
