I am he who is born,
Dies,
And is born again.
I am joy
And grief Rolled up in one.
I am Abiku,
The midget of bareness,
And elder to still-birth; Even still-birth of latter years.
Ghommid of wickedness,
I reside on the circumference of banana leaves.
A wanderer in the noon,
Secured with itinerant demons in the hot sun.
I am Abiku!
I am homeless,
A homeless wanderer in the noon!
Feasting on women with deaf ears that walk in the noon, But when I am caught, I get marked-burnt body. Then, I am reduced to an outsider to the spirits.
I cease to be narcissistic of my pride as Abiku,
Becoming an object of mockery, I become banished as an Abiku
