18 Unstoppable Commotions

Fan Daiyu looked up to see her father in the same position he had been before.

Still glaring at other people offering their son's up for engagement.

She chuckled at his possessiveness and kissed his cheek.

Everyone saw her actions and heard her laughter.

All the women started screaming at her cuteness and all the men looked at their daughters with sadness and disappointment.

Fan Ying was over the moon but he suddenly stiffened and looked at her full of seriousness.

"Where did you learn that?"

She lifted her small arm to point to a small girl kissing her brother.

"Listen to me Daiyu"

Daiyu felt a bit intimidated by her father and nodded.

[What did I do wrong? He looked so happy earlier. Is he on his period?]

She bit her lip and started tearing up.

Fan Ying began to receive glares from everyone around him.

If looks could kill, his wife would have long accomplished that with her ferocious glare.

He still didn't give in but seeing his daughter his voice couldn't help but mellow.

"Listen Daiyu. Don't EVER do that to anyone other than me and mommy okay."

Every person present, listening was frozen by the most honored general's shamelessness.

[THIS IS WHY YOU ALMOST SCARED ME TO DEATH!]

Fan Daiyu felt so overwhelmed that her tears started falling uncontrollably but she still nodded.

She let out tiny sobs and her big clear eyes became misty from the scare she received.

[Brutal! How could he do that to his daughter she's just a baby!]

All the mothers started to show their dislike towards the general's actions and all the men began to doubt their hero's personality.

[Selfish.]

Similar thoughts were shared amongst the crowd.

Seeing the baby cry didn't help at all.

Her small heartbreaking sobs made Fan Ying fall into a pit of guilt.

"I-I I I'm sorry my little jade. Forgive daddy for being so selfish. Don't cry.

Here look! What a pretty flower. Remember pure innocent flowers shouldn't be near those ugly bees. If it does touch the flower the butterfly will crush it. Don't worry."

He panicked but still mentioned his point.

Fan Daiyu calmed down and heard her father.

She laughed at her foolish father and hugged him.

"Daddy mean."

She cried a bit.

"Yes. Yes. Daddy is mean", he comforted.

"Daddy foolish"

"Yes. Yes. Daddy is foolish."

She kissed his cheek again and resumed to walking.

The crowd around them that had been silent erupted in surprise.

"What did I just hear!"

"That baby just talked!"

"She's not even a month old! How is she so smart!"

The couple had forgotten about such a huge variable and stiffened for a bit.

"Sigh. Such a smart child will cause inevitable problems. We'll just have to learn how to protect her better," Fan Ying whispered to his wife.

The crowd urged for the child to talk more but the family only ignored them. Eventually they gave up and continued with their own business but still full of jealously.

Why couldn't they have such perfect child? The heavens were so unfair.

Hearing her father Fan Daiyu became more motivated to do better. She began to practice walking once again but everything seemed different after integrating with the two lights.

She was steadier and stronger. She could see better and her five senses were better overall.

Not single person in the plaza could believe what they were witnessing.

Fan Ying stared in shock at his daughter that had pushed his arm away and was slowly making small shaky steps towards her mother.

Everything was silent. Nuwa Yenay felt her heart beating so hard that she thought it would explode.

Time seemed to slow down unbearably and yet no one talked.

Slowly step by step she walked up to her mother. She looked up, raised her arms, and smiled.

"Mama!"

Nuwa Yenay teared up and hugged her daughter full of joy.

"Aish, my baby is so smart that its troubling."

She smiled and kissed Daiyu. The crowded that had been silent exploded in praises once again.

However before they could reach the family, Fan Daiyu yawned.

"Papa. Mama… Home."

They nearly died from her cuteness.

The family headed home and fed Daiyu.

Nuwa Yenay put her to sleep with a story and kissed her forehead.

The couple headed to sleep and as the rest of their neighbors exploded in chaos at the news that had spread throughout the continent, they went to sleep in peace.

The first thing that woke them all up in the morning were impatient knocks.

Fan Ying headed out after changing and saw a multitude of people outside.

His eyes widened in surprise and all his sleepiness was thrown away by such scene.

People crowded around him and peeked into the house.

Fan Daiyu who had been woken up by all the noise called out to her mother

"MAMA!"

The moment her voice resonated and echoed around the house the commotion increased.

"You see! I told you! She already speaks and walks!"

"She is a genius"

"That's true. Even if she's not proficient in cultivation she can be successful in anything else. She is a rare gem!"

Nuwa Yenay changed out of her night gown and fixed her daughter up. She fed her and laid her on the floor so she could walk by herself.

"Daiyu don't go outside and don't wander off. I'll be watching you. Your daddy is dealing with something don't cause too much commotion."

After receiving a nod she went to make tea and peeked at her daughter frequently.

[Hehehe. What should I do?]

[What should we do today?

I'm a baby and I'm having childish ideas. Let's do something.]

{No. You're old already how can you be so shameless. Go and practice walking.}

[Ughh. What a party pooper! I'm not even old. You make it seem as if I'm 80.]

{You're the party pooper not me! Hmph.}

[Tsk. So childish.]

The small Ercan almost died from anger.

Fan Daiyu slowly stood up.

Looking at her daughter, Nuwa Yenay burst out in laughter.

[She looks like a tiny old man. Pffft… HAHAHAHA!]

Hearing her mother. Fa Daiyu very slowly turned only to make her mother burst out loud.

"Baby, please. It hurts….hahaha.. stop being so funny."

Fan Daiyu in her confusion just decided to ignore her crazy mother and excruciatingly slowly focused back to walking.

[I never knew walking could be so hard!]

She took small steps. Although she now had the strength to walk, she wasn't used to it and her feet were too small which didn't help at all.

She walked for a while and began adjusting to the feeling. Eventually she started to walk normally but her steps were still small and she couldn't run.

She headed towards the guest room to look for her father.

Fan Ying was trying his best to shoo away everyone only for the worst to happen. Someone screamed.

"EVERYONE. LOOK! SHE'S WALKING BY HERSELF!"

Chaos erupted and he was about to be run over when Fan Daiyu looked up with a terrified expression and let out her soft sobs.

Her pitiful look pierced the hearts of the invaders and made them feel guilty.

"Daddy..woo…woo. scary."

She pointed out at the crowd and made them feel horrible.

Seeing his daughter crying because of strangers he burst out in anger and glared at them until they all scurried away in guilt.

He turned once everyone was gone to his daughter smiling from ear to ear.

[Smart baby devil]

The three days passed by in peace and Daiyu could now walk around without a problem. On the fourth day while the family was in the garden telling Daiyu about the wars and honors her father had gained in war Daiyu spoke up.

"Daddy. Daiou lern cutivasion."

Fan Ying looked at his daughter.

"but you are not old enough yet."

"Daiou smart papa. Papa teach."

Fan Ying relented and taught her as a joke.

[She could learn the steps for now so that she'll be successful in the future]

Fan Daiyu could read all his emotions since they were so obvious. After being with him for a while, she grew accustomed to his shameless personality.

Fan Ying left and came back with a simple cultivation book. He explained the basics and the easiest starting poses. Through it all she payed full attention ad memorized everything. Her memory was surprisingly better now. She had photographic memory so she looked at the pages as her father read through it.

"More books! Daiyu learn well."

Fan Ying sighed and took her to his study room.

[Is my daughter really only a week old? Why is she growing so quickly?]

He cried silently as he saw her flipping through an alphabet book and then reading an actual book.

[SHE JUST WENT FROM BASICS TO A COMPLICATED BOOK! THIS IS TOO MUCH FOR MY POOR SELF-ESTEEM!]

He now understood how quickly she could capture things. One look and she knew everything.

GENIUS! TERRIFYING MONSTER!

[She's not even human anymore. It doesn't make sense how smart she is. Sometimes I wish she were a bit dumber.]

He wept internally but his eyes still reflected some of his emotions along with warmth.

[She is Yenay's and my daughter it only is right for her to be so perfect.]

Unknowingly, Daiyu had just boosted her father's ego while trying to cover the fact that she already knew how to read.

{Nobody is going to believe such crappy acting}

[Hmph just watch!]

After seeing her father, she thought to the dragon.

[See I told you]

{Sigh. They are too naive for you.}

[Kekeke.]

After she saw her father go out, She began to flip through every book and memorized everything.

Fan Ying had not forgotten about the hate he felt for a certain physician. He went with his wife to decide how to deal with the person who caused their child's nightmares and hurt her feelings.

[My little girl is so cute, kind, joyful, and sensitive. She was hurt so badly by a measly insignificant physician with no status]

His eyes flashed with rage and he planned his vengeance for his daughter.
