37 Jealousy

Shortly, the news of General Xiao being given the title of "Great General[1]" and his eldest daughter being conferred the title "Princess of the Fourth Rank[2]" was soon known throught the whole capital.

As a result, nobles coming from prominent and large clans had been constantly visiting making the whole General's Estate busy for the entire week. People from all walks of life had sent their praises and congratulations.

An good example of this envious people are the Liang aunt and niece pair. Liang Murong was not that jealous at first because she knew her husband's status was elated.
