11 A two-faced person is more frightening than a ghost 1

Though it was summer, the weather was good. The shining sun is there but it doesnt feel hot. It rather feels cool and refreshing because of the breezy cool wind.

At the back garden, a young lady is sitting on a swing. Her long pitch-black silky hair sways together with her smooth white silk skirt as the the swing constantly pushed in a slow manner.

Her awespiring appearance, as beautiful as a blooming flower and her pinkish white skin, constantly glowing under the rays of the warm sun. The people at the side cant help gawking and took some repeated glances at the painting like scenery infront.

Xingxing greatly enjoyed this, especially looking at those different beautiful flowers planted on the garden. Who doesn't want to see beautiful things?

Since coming here, this was a thing she always do when she felt bored. It calms her mind.

Later on, a servant from the main hall came. She came forward and leaned over to the maiden's ear to whisper something.

Upon hearing the words, the delicate frame on the swing slightly raised her left brow before dismissing the servant.

Xingxing stood up and face her servants with a calm smile. "Okay!" she heaved a somewhat determined sigh. "Its time to meet some people" then she strode out of the garden.

In the main hall, two figures were facing each other, one girl and the other is a guy. They were sitting on a huanghuali rosewood chair, drinking tea. Infront of them is a table with fine laquare carvings.

When she reached the main hall, xingxing saw the two diligently talking to each other. She looked at the man who was sitting at the right. This guy's name was Zhu Hao.

His name fit perfectly to him. He's handsome, has a tall physique, charming and seems approachable. He is Duke Zhu's eldest grandson.

He's wearing a beige hanfu embroidered with white and silver threads. Around his waist is a green tassel bell silk waistband. He looks noble and smart.

At his right was a 14 yr old girl. Her name was Liang Muyue. She was a niece of General Xiao's concubine, Madam Liang from her maternal family.

At a young age, her parents encountered a mischief and later died. She was left in the care of her paternal grandparents at the Liang Family.

She is close with her third aunt who's also her father's biological sister, Liang Murong; Madam Liang's maiden name.

After Liang Murong marries into the Xiao Household- she got pregnant but unfortunately, her child died. She got depressed and orders her favorite niece to accompany her.

After staying at the Xiao resedence for such a long time, Liang Muyue was soon adopted as a daughter by her aunt and was currently staying at the General Xiao's Estate.

Right now, she's casually chatting with Zhu Hao in the main hall. She's wearing an aero-blue colored dress. She's pretty and has a charming smile. Her eyes shows a hint of mischievousness.

She somewhat notices someone looking at her, making her glanced at the direction of the main hall's entrance. The man opposite to her noticed her actions and followed the direction she's looking to..

There at the door, was a girl in white. The girl in white posseses an enchanting beauty which would cause the fall of an entire nation.

Her lips curved upwards and an bewitching smile appears on her face as she noticed the stares of the the two people.

The smile was quick, but it was serene and enchanting, that if one was to look at it, he/she would be mesmerize.

The alluring girl walks, her steps were gentle that it gives you a feeling of walking on soft clouds. She wore a white silk dress which flutters everytime she moves. She somewhat resembles a goddess who just descended from the sky.

Shocked and at the same time envious, Muyue pursed her lips, her eyes revealed a trace of hate, loathing and envy in it. She immediately hide those feelings away and change her expression; revealing an innocent smiling face which was different from her hatefull face earlier.

She rose from her seat; with a warm smile on her face, she greeted Xiao Xingxing. "Big Sister Xingxing"

Though she was considered a cousin; because she was an adopted daughter of the Xiao Household, she was allowed to call Xiao Xingxing 'sister' instead of 'cousin'.

Xingxing just smiled in response at the 'innocent' girl infront. Her seemingly aloof gesture makes Muyue felt somewhat annoyed. A quick hint of hate appears on her eyes, before she shows her smiling face again.

Unknown to her, Xingxing actually caught that hatefull expression and also, that envy and loathing she has in her eyes earlier.

According to the former owner's memory, this girl's behavior is pretty good. She treats the past Xingxing as her sister and was nice to her always.

But what was that envious and hatefull look she got in her eyes just now...

A quick thought passed through her mind. The next second, the corners of her lips curved upwards.
