19 A new playground

After the ogre fell to the ground, everyone could kill the shadows remaining and joy filled the adventurers.

On the 100 adventurers, 10 were dead and some were gravely wounded, the subjugation of a Danger class beast was a succes even though 1 orichalcum adventurer died.

On a hundred mythril adventurers, maybe five of them had the potential to become orichalcum, it is seriously damaging the country if only one of them died, but we can't protect everyone from a Danger class monster.

My sister and I asked all the mages to light the rest of the wide room to see if any treasures were left. Eleanora's face distorted as she saw two figures at the end of the room, she especially froze her eyes at one of them.

A man was sitting on a throne, a horn on his head and a black and white mask covering his face.

As everyone was watching him and a small figure next to him, my sister took her fire sword again.

"Full Burst, Light Speed."

My sister chanted one of her most powerful spells, one she rarely uses as it consumes a huge amount of magic power, and charged at the man on his throne.

Does she know him ? She usually doesn't charge against pure strangers and doesn't make the moves on men first...

""Princess !"" As Eleanora was at the speed of light charging the man and brandishing her sword, the orichalcum adventurers went towards her confused at the situation.

Eleanora's sword slashed. And when everyone looked again, the small figure next to the throne moved at an unseeable speed and blocked the attack with what looked like a black, white and red katana.

I also started to run towards my sister as she put her left hand behind her back and signaled us to stay where we were.

The figure of a child wearing a black mask identical to the man, though a little bit more feminine, was standing before my sister, holding her sword in two fingers.

"Tsk, again huh ...?" The orichalcum adventurers and I could hear a little bit my sister from where we were.

The man in black and white left his throne and started to walk slowly towards my sister.

"Sister !" - "Princess !" The leader of the adventurers and I both screamed towards Eleanora who was not moving an inch.

When the man reached her, he took the flame sword with bare hands and broke it, well, dispelled it.

As soon as he had broken her sword, he teleported with his servant, leaving my sister on her knees, either praying or freezing at the fact she was about to die.

Everyone rushed to her as soon as we could.

We asked why she did that unconscious move and got our answer quick enough.

She explained to us that this was a Demon that attacked the Mage's Academy not long ago leaving a few casualties as he passed through.

She knew his strength but rushed anyway, as it is supposed to be the duty of the Royals to protect people.

For now, we will tell the adventurers about the Demon and tell them to keep and eye out.

We will say that this quest is a success for now.

In Nagar, Royal Capital of the Yarusen Kingdom, two new faces could be found.

A handsome man walking beside a pretty girl was in the streets attracting many's attention because of his look, rich clothes and cape.

Though, most of the gazes were turned towards the girl as she was wearing the same cape but instead of a black one, she had a red one with some gold on it while the fur of the cape was pure white.

They either could be mistaken as a princess and her high-class butler or for two nobles from royal blood.

"I heard that the Yarusen Kingdom will be holding a tournament for the prince's birthday in two weeks.

For now, we will have to find what to do."

"Yes, Lord." Elizabeth seemed to get used to her new Demon 'master' as she talked with more ease with him.

"Could you not call me Lord ? Call me Reyn since we're supposed to be relatives."

"Un, Excuse me Reyn-sama." This time, it was clearly the girl that was happy to annoy her master as she giggled a little.

It took her only 2 days to accustom to me being nice and easy with her.

Nagar, the royal capital of Yarusen was not entirely round compared to Alusia. It seems the capital was still growing as a little of houses under construction could be found.

Though, the system of middle-area and upper-area was almost the same there.

We were discovering the middle-area first before going to the upper one.

"Oi, what do we have here ? Two new nobles coming from god-knows where with such a beautiful little girl left unprotected !"

Obviously, three persons looking either like bandits or adventurers called out to us.

Seriously man ? Could you not repeat the same mistakes as everyone in this situation ?

Well, I say that but his friends are not looking very forced right now as they are looking at Elizabeth with lust.

We both pass by pushing them aside with one hand.

I should've expected adventurers to do that. The Rayshald Kingdom seemed to be clean with adventurers but the first time I visit this town something like that happens.
