19 Chapter 18 | The Awakening of Ren Kurosawa ii
Ichigo looked at the strange man and said, "I'm Ren Kurosawa and yes I was going to ask you about it but you were too busy enjoying yourself so I just stood there watching you for ten minutes… then," she was now too embarrassed to complete that sentence, Akihiko finished her sentence saying, "Then you decided to join in and dance with me forgetting about the motorcycle."
The two of them laughed for a moment then went into an awkward silent mode. Akihiko saw how shy Ichigo was turning and took her by the hand leading her back into his shop; she followed Akihiko right to the back of the shop to the garage when they got there in the middle of the room was a motorcycle covered with a black silk cloth.
Akihiko removed the cloth, to her surprise it was the Kawaasaki Ninja 500R that she wanted, she looked at him and asked, "Why is it here and not inside where the others are?" he smiled as he answered, "I figured that you wanted it so I kept it here for you". After hearing those words she felt a feeling inside her that she hadn't felt before, she smiled back at him and said, "I do want it but I just don't know how to ride it."
"I can always teach you, but that's only if you'll let me," Akihiko replied instantly. "I would like that," she answered. The two of them covered the motorcycle together in silence and walked back to the front of the store; after watching Akihiko walk back to the other side of the counter Ichigo said, "I'll purchase the motorcycle after I'm done with the car, and if it's okay with you I'll come by tomorrow for my first lesson," Akihiko answered, "I'll be here." She smiled back at him then walked out shyly back to the car and drove off; the entire time Akihiko smiled while watching the beautiful Ren Kurosawa drive off.
Ichigo arrived back at the car store and parked her new baby outside then walked inside with the two men waiting at the desk clerks desk for her. She sat down to these words, "I take it you enjoyed the ride since you've been gone so long," said the manager, "Just give the forms so I can leave," she demanded.
The manager then asked for her bank statements and her identity documents to make copies of; Ichigo was getting tired of waiting, and grew impatient; the manager could see it on her face and it wasn't good for business to have unsatisfied customers, before he gave Ichigo her documents back he made her sign ten different papers then told her "The car costs $24 0000, but you have the option of paying $1000 a month." Ichigo looked at the man and picked up her kit bag from the floor that she placed next to her; after placing the bag on the desk she took out the swords and daggers, then the money; she made them count out $24 0000 while walking around with the swords and swinging them around; this took over an hour and Ichigo enjoyed seeing the fear in their eyes.
The store manager took the money then helped Ichigo to her car; holding both her bags in his left hand and opening the driver's side door with his right like a real gentleman. She drove off with her car and the documents knowing she doesn't owe a cent, but there was one thing left to do but first, she had to go home before doing so she went back home.
Everyone in the neighbourhood saw the car drive up to the Chau's house; out of curiosity they followed the car to see who was going to get out of it. When Ichigo stepped out of the car there were people outside waiting for her and watching her every movement. She closed the car and greeted everyone, from the back of the crowd, she heard "Hello miss Ren Kurosawa, it's nice to see your beautiful face again," the boy stepped forward out of the crowd; it was the younger boy that kept the yard well groomed every month. She walked over to him and gave him a kiss on his forehead she then took his hand and he followed her into the house.
Inside the house, she could see that the boy was a little scared; she then said to him, "Younger boy, you don't have to be afraid". The boy looked at her and said, "But young miss this house is born with a curse."
"There is nothing wrong with the house" she said gently.
"But why were the people killed who entered the house and yet you and I weren't?", "Because I killed them and you're next if you don't shut up about it!!" she said thinking to herself but slowly said to the boy to reassure him of his safety in the house, "Remember what I said, you and I are protected, nothing will harm us if we do what they say and, everyone who lost their lives in this house were trespassing."
"But before you ask any more questions; I have one for you," she said while giving him a glass of pink liquid, "Why are those people so nosy outside?" the younger boy took the glass and sipped from it before he said, "I honestly don't know, but my parents are like that as well."
The two of them laughed and carried on chit chatting till late in the evening about random things and nonsense. "Well it was nice talking to you miss Ren but I have school in the morning," said the boy. "It was nice talking to you too, don't be a stranger now, you can visit me anytime," the two said their goodbyes and the boy went home while Ichigo had her dinner then off to bed she went.
Ichigo woke up to a loud noise coming from the back yard and quickly ran outside to see what it was. She had on a black silk mini night gown. She stood outside in her back yard, it was pitch black outside, not being able to see what it was; she instead used her hearing and from the back of her left ear, she heard whispers, she then moved towards the sound slowly and immediately grabbed the two voices by their throats, pushed them into the kitchen before switching the lights on.
She saw that it was two men from the police station; they were speechless and breathless after what just happened to them. She could see on their faces that they were in shock and red from the force she had just used on them. She then walked over to the cupboard and took out three glasses, poured pink liquid into it and gave the glasses to the men to drink. Since it was still dead silent and Ichigo couldn't decide whether to kill them or not she asked, "What are you doing here, do the two of you have a death wish?" the men looked at each other with widened eyes.
The light skinned one answered, "We heard from one of the neighbours, that there was someone living in this house."
Ichigo, "Yes I'm the new owner."
The paled skin man asked, "How is that possible?"
Ichigo, "I bought it from the bank?"
Light skinned man, "Why? Don't you know that everyone dies that enters this house?"
Pale skinned man, "Not everyone, there's that young boy and a lady named Ren Kurosawa."
Ichigo, "I am Ren Kurosawa!!"
The men turned their eyes to Ichigo. The conversation continued until the early hours in the morning. The men tried getting information out from her about the killings but she had no idea about the murders. The only thing they got from her was that she's protected from being murdered and the boy as well.
Ichigo ended up rushing the conversation because it was now time for her to go meet with Akihiko. She went down to the underground home and took a bath; afterwards she went to her closet, she couldn't decide what to wear but eventually she put on grey sweat pants and a light blue hoody with black sneakers, she looked at herself in the mirror and laughed. It was almost 10:00 am when she left to go meet up with Akihiko and when she arrived at his shop he was waiting outside for her.
She stopped in front of him; Akihiko walked over to the driver's side and opened the door and told her to move over, she did so and he got in. Her heart was beating fast as she looked in his direction, she could smell him from where she was sitting.
They arrived at an empty racing track where a motorcycle was waiting for the two of them. They got out not saying a word to each other not even a "Hello" just silence the entire time; Akihiko helped Ichigo on to the motorcycle while he got on behind her, he started the engine and of they went.
They drove around the track twice before Ichigo started her driving lessons. When they stopped Akihiko got off the bike and he told Ichigo what to do, she listened carefully to him and for a while, she was riding like a professional; this was only because she was determined to master anything she put her mind to. She did this over ten times around the racing track till she got sidetracked; daydreaming about Akihiko, she heard his voice screaming at her "REN!!!!!!! Concentrate you'll get hurt!" she asked herself, "Why is he screaming at me?" Not realizing that she was wobbling with the bike which made her fall over and land a few feet away from the bike and landing on her back with a broken ankle.
Akihiko immediately ran over to her. "Ouch, Akihiko it hurts," she said in pain not being able to move. "I know come here." He picked her up in his strong arms and put her in the car.
