18 Chapter 18 | The Awakening of Ren Kurosawa i

Ichigo travelled by bus to the bank that owns her parents' house. When she arrived there all eyes were on her; it was the first, in a long time since she was the centre of attention. She was very confident about what was now going to take place and didn't doubt herself one bit over it.

It was now her turn to be helped and one of the banks' employees took her to an office in the corner of the building, which was very unorganized and dusty. She went up and sat opposite the desk clerk and they started talking;

Desk Clerk, "Hello my dear, how can I help you today?"

Ichigo, " Yes I would like to purchase the house on Yen Park."

Desk Clerk, "Excuse me miss but am I hearing you correctly? Are you talking about the house that the Chau family were murdered in?"

Ichigo, "Yes."

Desk Clerk, "But that house isn't up for sale."

Ichigo, "I know that but I still want the house."

Desk Clerk, "I'm sorry miss but I can't sell you that house, it's unhealthy."

Ichigo, "Unhealthy?"

Desk Clerk, "Yes everyone that enters the house loses their life."

Ichigo, "Why?"

Desk Clerk, "Well the family that lived in there was murdered and rumour has it that the house is protected by a great evil and no-one has found the daughter that went missing that night."

Ichigo, "That's interesting, but I have no interest what's so ever in someone I don't know nor know anything of."

Desk Clerk, "Well okay then miss, I'll go speak to my boss and get the paperwork."

The desk clerk got up and left her alone for ten minutes then came back with a whole lot of papers; he sat down and said, "Here's the paperwork for the house, I need your signature, here, here and here; I also need your bank statement and your identity booklet.

Ichigo gave off a skew smile at the desk clerk and gave him what he wanted and signed her name on the house's document's; she didn't pay much for it because no-one wanted to buy it in the first place; the desk clerk approved the documents with the banks credentials and gave Ichigo the keys to the house. The desk clerk then said, "Well miss Ren Kurosawa you are now the new owner of the house on Yen Park; May the Lord bless your soul and protect you."

She smiled at the man sarcastically and turned her back on him; when she did so she took her things as her smile dropped and walked out of the bank.

Ichigo went straight to the motorcar store without looking around she went straight to the desk clerk inside the store, she dropped her handbag on the man's desk and she put the black kit bag next to her; she did this while everyone in the store had their eyes set on her, amazed by her beauty and elegance.

She said to the desk clerk before he could speak even one word, "Two years ago I came into this place and fell in love with one of the cars, it was a black Audi A5, I want that car now at this second and the forms for it! If you don't have exactly what I'm looking for, tell me now so that I can leave and look elsewhere."

The man looked over at his manager once she stopped talking, then got out the documents from his desk drawer for her to sign; everyone in the store heard what Ichigo said which made them all speechless.

Moments later the store's manager came over with the car's keys and led Ichigo to the car she asked for; the store's manager opened the driver's side door for her to take a seat and get a taste of the car. He told her "If you want to you can take it for a test drive to make 100% sure you want the car, while I get your forms in order; when you get back we can finish the transaction."

She agreed and drove off with the car; she drove past the motorcycle shop and remembered the motorcycle she wanted, she made a U-turn and parked the car in the visitors' section in front of the shop.

She got out of the car and locked it; remembering that she had forgotten the money at the car store, but that didn't stop her from going in. when she entered the shop she wasn't sure if the motorcycle was still available, so she went up to the man behind the desk; she looked at the guy and he had earphones in his ears looking like a fool with his head bobbing.

She stood there for ten minutes just looking at him act a fool and was kind of enjoying the sight; the entire time while she was watching him she grew calm and just stood there smiling.

After the ten minutes passed she jumped over the counter and grabbed him from behind holding him tight in her arms; Ichigo not realizing what she had actually done going overboard and doing something uncalled for.

The man stopped dancing and pulled Ichigo's hands apart that was holding his waist, pushed her against the desk. He looked at her with a confused look on his face; Ichigo looked at him with widened eyes and a sore back realizing what she had done and suddenly felt uncomfortable.

She moved, turned towards the desk, climbed on top of the desk and jumped over the counter and slowly walked out the shop. Near her car she felt a hand on her right shoulder and turned back to look who it was; it was the man who she had her arms around, for a moment they stared at each other looking deep into each other's eyes.

She quickly got out of the gaze and said, "I'm sorry for what I did back there, I don't know what came over me," she looked down to the ground remembering the awkward moment and how awful she felt. The man looked at her and put his hand on her chin making her look at him by holding her chin up in his direction, he smiled at her and said, "You caught me by surprise and please don't be ashamed of what you've done, I know who you are and I've been waiting for you."

Ichigo looked at him confused and stepped a few steps back from him, "What do you mean by that," she said while looking at him with a raised right eyebrow.

"You were here two years ago and I haven't seen you since then, well what I'm trying to say is… I'm glad you did what you did back there," now realizing that she knew who he was she then asked, "You're the guy that waved to me while I was on the bus right?" He smiled at her and answered, "Yes and I've been thinking about you ever since. My name is Akihiko Naito, and since you're here I'm sure you came to buy yourself the black Kawasaki Ninja 500R right?"
