The Lancaster Mansion

Inside of the luxurious home, a frosty vibe enveloped the whole household. It was very oppressive and dangerous.

Levinn Lancaster slammed his hands hard at the table. Opposite him was Mr. Clay, his son's trusted assistant.

His son, Pierce Alexander Lancaster was missing. He was supposed to have a very important meeting with his new business partner at Loran Country. His son was very meticulous at handling important matters so he wasn't worried about it, but mishaps happened and now he doesn't even know where his son is.

His assistant came back to Light Country, seriously injured and was comatose for one week. Thankfully he woke up. He was the only one who survived and the only one who knows what truly happened.

As he told the events of that day Mr. Lancaster couldn't control his emotions. He felt extremely troubled and worried at the same time.

His wife still doesn't know about this incident. They were covering any information regarding this incident and preventing the news to leaked out.

They fully know the consequences that might happen not only to the Lancaster family but also to the missing heir.

The Lancasters are very mysterious family. Although they are known to be the most powerful in Light Country, they always avoided the public eye. The decline of the previous main family, the Alistair had been a big lesson for them.

Mr. Clay relayed the story to him.

" It was a business deal that we have been trying to get a long time ago. After careful considerations Mr. Clark Evans, our business target agreed to negotiate. So we decided to go to the Queen's City as per requested. Everything was planned on meticulously even the elite force of the Lancaster's, the Shadow Team were despatched. Arriving at the city we settled at Grand Pavilion Hotel. The meeting was going smoothly, Mr. Lancaster and Mr. Evans were the only one allowed inside. I was standing outside the room but when the product testing was done and verified by Mr. Lancaster the very moment they were sealing the deal. Then suddenly the alarms were turned on someone breached the room. It was very chaotic, I saw a lot of heavily armed men in circled us. Several members of Shadow team are on the floor with needles stuck on their necks. I panicked and started to run to notify Mr. Lancaster but before I could even move, I felt a numbing sensation on my neck, the I lost consciousness after that.

Mr. Levinn gave a conflicted look. " We can't let the public know this. Despatched a search team to Loran Country. You must be discreet, we can't afford to alert our enemies. If they found out about this incident. All of them will try to strike us until were crippled. I don't want to happen what the Alistair's had been through. "

"Yes sir, I will also conduct a thorough investigation. I will be going then." Mr. Clay replied.

Mr. Levinn nodded. He was left dazed, how could he tell this to his lovely wife? She will be very heartbroken for sure.
