30 Heavenly Lightning
Lin Feng was still unconscious as his body was flying up in the air, what was astounding was that around his body was a very long body which was covering him from the sky. It was as if it was hiding him from the eyes of the Heavens. The hundred metres long body of the Golden Dragon was very majestic with Golden Coloured Scales in which the Golden Light was flickering.
The Red Eyes looked very intimating, it was to the level that the Shao Dong, even with their extraordinary will power weren't able to raise their head and look into the eyes of the Dragon. It was like the Dragon was showing it's supremacy over these humans and letting them know of it's noble status and it's heavenly strength.
The Golden Dragon stared at Lin Feng's body for some time before it sent a strand of its energy in Lin Feng's body. Suddenly, the clouds roared as if it had finally sensed this Heavenly Phenomenon and was angered that this Dragon dared to appear in the world once again.
The colour of the sky changed and it turned into that of Blood Red Colour. A strong Slaughtering Aura showered upon Lin Feng and every cultivator in the Town. Shao Dong all his men residing in the Town felt this huge pressure targeting everyone and knew that their time had come to an end.
Every single one of the men knew what was ahead, their own death. But they didn't feel any regret, they didn't feel any sadness of their doom in front of them. They knew that what was going to happen wasn't because of their actions so why would they feel regret?
When they swore to fight for the Empire, didn't they knew that one day they could perish without accomplishing anything. They knew it and still wanted to fight. For these years, they have seen multiple death of their comrades, deaths of their loved ones but they had held on. Now that the Heavens wanted them to die, just what could they do to oppose it. None!
They were all ready to peacefully accept the Heaven's attacks and die but suddenly they heard a Loud Dragon's Roar that seemed to have opposed the heavens. It directly clashed it's Golden Aura with the Red aura of the Heavens and cancelled out any aura exerted on the cultivators in the Eagle Cliff Town.
This was the turning point for everyone in the Town. No matter who that person was, they were shocked to feel an Aura directly clashing against the Heaven's Aura and actually cancelling it's pressure. It was as if it refused to be accept the fact that Heavens wanted to destroy it.
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRR!!"
The Dragon roared in a ear shattering voice which shook every single continent of this world. Many Mountain and hills cracked. The Clouds suddenly scattered apart and it was like this Dragon's Roar split up the will of the heavens. But it seemed as if the Heavens were also very angered by this Roar and the clouds thundered up once again.
The Red Aura of the Heavens started to condense into the form of the Heavenly Lightning, 1000's of Bolts of Red Lightning were released upon the small town of the Eagle Cliff Town. The Red Eyes of the Golden Dragon suddenly glowed as all the Red Lightning was attracted to its own body and it took on all the lightning on its body.
A loud explosion occurred which caused Shao Dong and his men to be pushed away by the shockwave which was so strong that it knocked out some of them. As the dust cleared, Shao Dong and his men slightly turned their face in upwards direction and saw the Dragon flying there with no obvious damage to its body.
As if impregnable, the Heavenly Lightning couldn't even leave a scratch on the dragon. Shao Dong and the others were in illusion that the Golden Dragon's Scales seemed to be glowing even more brightly than before. It was the shield for them which had saved them from the terrifying Heavenly Lightning that even the strongest experts feared.
This weak Lightning caused the Dragon to be very dissatisfied and they didn't notice was the Dragon's disdainful expression looking towards the sky, it was as if it was screaming "WEAK! THE HEAVENS HAVE GONE WEAK!"
The Heavens noticed it's gaze and once again, a stronger bolt of Lightning was being condensed. This time it didn't split up into 100 bolts but in just 2 bolts. One was for the Dragon's Head and the other was for it's body. It was like the Heavens wanted to roast the Dragon with its all powerful Lightning.
The Dragon snorted and challenged the Heavens "COME! Do you think I fear you." The Heavens thundered up once again which caused many people to pray to some god that they wouldn't die. But a Dragon stood with a cold gaze looking into its eyes.
There wasn't a trace of fear in it's eyes, just complete calmness. It was as if it knew that the Heavens weren't strong enough to destroy it. The Heavens charged up the Heavenly Red Lightning once again and suddenly two Thunderbolts were thrown.
One at the Dragon's Head and the other on the Dragon's Body. This was almost thousands of times stronger Thunderbolt than the previous thousand bolts that were thundered on the Dragon's Body. This time the Lightning didn't create an explosion but it was like it was a controlled lightning which only hit the Dragon's Body.
When the Lightning struck the Ancient Golden Dragon's Body, a devastating sound which caused two Azure Blue pair of eyes to open up. It was Lin Feng. He had woken up and he was a bit astounded because of the Red Lightning and the Dragon around his body protecting him from the Lightning.
He didn't know what had happened when he lost his consciousness. He was completely lost on the events that happened when he was asleep. Lin Feng looked down and saw that he was actually flying without using any of his Bloodline Energy.
He looked around his body and thought 'Why is the WIll of the Dragon God here once again? Wasn't its power extinguished? Why is it here once again? Besides, why is this Red lightning engulfing the Dragon? Whose Lightning is this?'
He looked down and turned his body in all directions and didn't see any expert that was releasing the Red Lightning. He unconsciously raised his head upwards and his eyes widened as he thought 'So, this Lightning isn't released by some expert. It is the Heavenly Lightning. And from the looks of it, this Will of the Dragon God seems pretty strong to be going against the Red Lightning of heavens without backing out a single step.'
