433 Edwin's True Worries

Charles went in. He went in front of Edwin and looked at him condescendingly. "You are afraid that Bell will blame you when she knows the truth. Is it? You are afraid that I will not be here at the time, only you are left, Bell will vent all the emotions on you. You are afraid, afraid of her complaining, afraid to see her pain! I really never think that the wise and unparalleled Edwin will be afraid to bear the anger of his sister."

Edwin looked up and smiled bitterly. "You are right."

This was the real fear in his heart, he was not afraid of bearing human life, not afraid of carrying guilt, but... afraid that Bella would put all grief and hatred on him after Charles’s departure.

He bowed his head. "Yes, I can sacrifice everything for Bell, even life. But... I don’t have the courage to live for her."

Charles revealed coldly. "Edwin, you are too selfish. You have been playing a brother who can give everything for Bell, you sacrifice everything you want, in order to create a selfless brother in your heart. You are afraid that your good brother's image will be destroyed after she knows the truth. You are afraid that she will not be as respectful to you as now, and you are afraid that she will hate you. You are afraid that your image that you have played so hard for several years will never come back. You are so selfish to the extreme!"

Charles’s words were extremely cruel but right, Edwin bowed his head and had nothing to say.

Steven was worried that Edwin would be upset, he blocked in front of Charles. "Brother, he has lived for Bella all his life. You can't say him this like this."

"Really?? Now it is necessary that Bell needs him to live, why doesn’t he dare to live?" Charles looked coldly at Edwin. "You can escape. Clair just told me if you insist that you don't accept the surgery. He will find a chance to suicide."

After saying this, Charles turned around, he looked very indifferent, and there was no gentleness and friendliness as he faced Bella.

Edwin slowly looked up and looked at the back of Charles and smiled. "The lord, your radical method is successful."

Charles’s footsteps kept on, and Edwin said to himself, “Yes, I just want to make myself feel perfect in the Bell heart. I have no hope of living, so I died in a way that I thought I was tragic. When she thinks of me in the future, she will only think of my goodness. But now, you have to leave, only leaving me... all the merits of my past will be annihilated by you."

Once Bella knew that Edwin had known from the beginning that Charles would use his own heart to save her, she would blame him and even hated him.

"You are right, I am afraid that Bella will hate me." Edwin laughed at himself. "I am not afraid of death, but I am afraid that people who are close to me will hate me."

Charles sighed. "Bell is not an unreasonable person. Although she will be angry at first, everything will be fine when she understands and accepts it."

Edwin looked at him and smiled a little ridiculously. "Do you know why I am so scared? Because I have thought about it many times, sacrificing the loved one to save myself. What kind of feeling is it? If I need to use Bell’s heart to live, all of you hide this from me, this grace, I can't take it, I can't forgive."

It was because he put himself on the place that he was more afraid.

He thought he was an open-minded person, but he couldn’t forgive himself under that situation, how Bell could forgive him!

Even so, Edwin had completely softened his attitude.

Steven kneeled beside him and whispered. "Brother, you are the only relative for Bell in this world. She won't blame you. If she is really angry, you can push all the things over me."

"Thank you!"

Edwin smiled very stiffly for the first time. It was because of the only relative that deception was even more hurtful.

Charles sighed with relief, "Bell depends on you later."

If Edwin stayed, it must be a comfort for Bell.

All the enterprises would restart the work after the seventh day, and Bella and Steven went to the company to open a staff meeting. The construction of the new urban area would restart after the Lantern Festival. After the staff meeting, Quentin "carelessly" dropped an important document, so some colleagues saw that the chairman of the board of directors wrote "Bella Beck."

The gossip flew fast, and plus Steven’s people helped push the waves. Soon everyone had already guessed that Bella Brook was Bella Beck, and created a story that the princess of the rich family fell into the folks.

One passed to ten and ten passed hundred, and then when it passed to Bella’s ear, the version already became the story of the wealthy wife who wanted to have a son to compete for property and used her daughter to change the son of the maid.

Obviously, Bella was the true princess who was replaced, and Steven was the son of the servant.

Bella had to say that the imagination of people in this world was infinite, and Bella was simply dumbfounding. She said to Steven, who was sitting opposite her, "Brother, would you let them continue discussing about it?"

Steven shrugged. "This is very good. At least everyone knows that you are the owner of this company."

"I just feel wronged for you." Bella couldn’t help but laugh, "The son of the maid ... they have watched too many TV shows."

"I don’t feel wronged." Steven got up and took the coat and got ready to get off work. "Tomorrow brother is going to do the surgery, do we need to prepare something?"

"Do you have any ideas?" Bella was a little embarrassed. "I really didn't think about this."

"Actually, I don't have any thoughts to prepare." Steven laughed. "I am too nervous."

"What are you nervous about?"

"I haven't seen his real look for many years. I don't know what he will look like after surgery." Steven said, "I am very similar with him. I don't know if we will look like twins after surgery."

Bella lightly laughed. "Is it so nervous?"

Steven helped her to go to the president's elevator. He did not tell her that he was nervous that tomorrow's surgery was an unprecedented big surgery, changing the organs available throughout the body, and changing the blood of the whole body.

He was afraid that in the event of any accident, Clair and Edwin would both die.

In the end, he still couldn't help but ask, "Bell, what if Clair leaves us after the operation, will you be sad?"

Bella went into the elevator and wondered, "Did Clair say where he wants to go?"

"I mean, he may probably leave us forever."

Bella light sighed. "It will be sooner or later that he leaves us. He is not our relatives after all, he will have the life he wants to live. And he has been banned by Cather, it’s nice for him to go out. The world is so big, he should go out to see it."

Steven knew that she understood it wrong, but he could hear it from her words. She just treated Clair a little better than ordinary friends, a little more pity.

He was relieved, obviously between Clair and Edwin, she would definitely choose Edwin to live, so the pressure of Edwin would be smaller afterward.

He clenched his fists nervously, and now he could only pray that Elsa could clone the heart successfully.
