Chapter 255 Everyone Was Relevant to Bella

Earl and Nick were not familiar with each other, they only met on some occasions before. Earl did not like horse racing, so he didn’t need to flatter Nick.

Charles smiled at Nick and said, "Excuse me."

Earl just nodded slightly to Nick and followed Charles.

Nick also nodded back, and his eyes they were searching in the crowd, and finally, he saw Katherine and Nancy standing by the floor-to-ceiling window and chatting with the champagne. Occasionally, some men came to talk to her. She was very polite to them and chatted with them happily.

Nick took a glass of champagne to walk towards Katherine.

Nancy couldn't stand so many men accosting, she took Katherine to the other side. "You have been talking to those men, how can you understand my plan?"

Katherine took a sip of champagne. "I heard what you said. Just do it, don't leave any face to Charles." She lowered her eyes and looked at the amber liquid in her hand. Hiding the cruelty in her eyes, she said coldly in a low voice. "His face could only be me. Bella is not."

As she just stood there, not for a while there had been a lot of young men coming over to talk to her. Charles loved Bella just because they had been together for a long time, which made him lost the fresh feeling.

As long as Nancy’s plan was successful, there would be no possibility of Charles being together with Bella anymore.

Nancy smiled. "Why do you believe me?"

Believed her? How could it be, Katherine believed it was the power of money.

She turned her head to smile at Nancy. "Of course, I believe you, this is your place."

Katherine’s word worked. Nancy then smiled. "Sure, it is my place."

In order to welcome the arrival of Bella, she paid enough price for today.

On the other side, Katherine saw a man in black carrying a slender champagne glass and marching towards her. He was taller than the model, and his face was more enchanting. His appearance was more beautiful than the male star on TV, and he seemed very honorable.

This was the most handsome man she had ever seen in addition to Charles. For Edwin was Bella’s brother, she consciously ignored him.

Seeing Nick come close step by step, Katherine swallowed, and her body straightened a little.

“You are very proud.” Nick took a sip of champagne and signed Nancy to leave.

Nick looked at her hurried back and snorted. "The mayor's daughter is really interesting."

The crowd began to move closer to the center, Katherine and Nick also went there together.

As they walked, Katherine did not forget to say, "I played better than her."

Nick said casually, "I hope I can hear you playing once."

Katherine replied. "You can hear it tonight."

Nick looked at Katherine incredibly. How was Charles’s woman so easy to shake? This made him lack of sense of fulfillment.

Bella walked together with Edwin, and Earl and Charles were still talking about something.

Nick did not pretend to not know Edwin. He initiatively said hello, "Edwin." When he looked at Bella, he couldn’t help laughing again, "Hey, a rich but poor woman."

Edwin knew the joke between Nick and Bella, he slammed a fist in front of Nick’s chest and smiled. "Bella is my sister. Don't make fun of her anymore."
