Chapter 246 Nick's Trick

The whole morning, Charles did not come.

At lunchtime, Bella waited for everyone leaving to eat, and bought herself two rice balls in the cafeteria. Then she ate them in the small garden behind the company.

It was not actually a small garden. It was just an open space in the parking lot. But it was not big enough to park a car. Because it was in the corner, there grew some long wildflowers and weeds.

Bella leaned against the fence, looked at the small flowers in front of her, eating the rice ball bit by bit, her heart was always blocked.

As long as she calmed down, the scene that Charles hugged Katherine passing by would flash into her mind. However, different from the previous times that she forced herself not to think about it, she pushed herself to clearly review everything about Charles and Katherine’s love.

The clearer the pictures were, the more heartache she had, the easier it would be to break up.

"Hey, a rich woman, why did you hide here to eat?" Nick jumped off from the fence and took the other rice ball left in Bella’s bag. He started to eat naturally.

"Why are you here?" Bella asked in astonishment.

Nick smiled evilly. "You are already here, why can't I be here?"

"I am different from you. I am here because I am working here. But why are you here?" Bella looked at him eating her rice ball and frowned. "Do you know it’s impolite to take other people’s things without their permission?"

"You are not someone else." Nick smiled, "You are my employee."

"I have finished my work, I am not your employee anymore." Bella raised her hand to grab the rice ball in his hand, "Give me back the rice ball."

Nick rascally put the last half rice ball into his mouth and swallowed quickly. He looked at her proudly, "Aha, I finished the last one."

As soon as he finished his words, he coughed fiercely. It was obvious that he was choked by the rice ball.

Nick’s face got red, and the rice was sprayed up.

Bella felt so speechless about him that she gave him her mineral water, "Take your time, drink some water."

Nick took over the water and poured into his mouth. It was after the uncomfortable feeling passed that he glared at Bella. "See, it’s your fault, you almost kill me."

"You ate my lunch and drank my water. But saying I want to kill you! Give it back to me." Bella grabbed her own mineral water. "I have disliked you for a long time. Now you are not my boss. I don’t need to stand anymore."

She used to endure because of the money. Now since she had finished her work, she didn’t need to tolerant anymore.

Although she knew that Nick was not a bad person, he did have a nasty mouth. Not everyone could stand his sharp tongue.

"Women are surely the meanest animal in the world." Nick grabbed her arm. "Let me express my thanks to you now, thanks for the water, thanks for saving my life."

Bella threw out his hand, "Let me go."

Nick loosened his grip, Bella then sighed silently.

He was really a child.

"Tell me, why do you come here?"

Nick said, "I know that you are not Charles’s real wife. The reason why he married you is to protect the woman he really loves."

If she heard these words before, she might be very angry and sad. But now, even she still felt uncomfortable when she heard this, at least she could have faced it naturally.

Bella looked at him and raised her eyebrows. "So what?"

Nick just looked at her seriously. "So, I decided to help you to drive Katherine away and make you become Charles’s real wife," he explained earnestly. "Because after getting along with you through this period, I think you are a really good woman. You should not lose to Katherine."

Bella almost laughed out loud. “Do you know that there is an old saying called Greek gifts?”

"I don't know." Nick shook his head. "But it doesn't matter. What's important is that I am kind to help you drive Katherine away."

"How could you do it?"

Nick's lips never zipped until astonishing words poured. "Let Katherine be my woman, then you are safe."

It turned out that he fell in love with Katherine.

Bella smiled and looked at this fashionable boy and said seriously, "If you really love Katherine, you should pursue her by yourself. Why do you tell this to me?" She paused, but still reminded, "But since you know that Charles loves her, you should have known the consequences if you want to pursue her."

"Of course, I know that it is not good to offend Charles. So, I intentionally come and tell you."

"I come to tell you that I am doing this for you, it’s because of you that I dare to offend Charles and grab the woman he loves. All I want to do is for you. You must remember, I do this just for your happiness."

Bella listened to his drama words, feeling speechless. She really didn’t understand the boys nowadays.

"As you want." Bella did not want to play with him anymore. She waved her hands speechlessly and went straight to the office.

However, she did not know that what happened between Nick and her was all under Charles’s eyes.

Although the small garden was remote, it was still under the monitor.

Charles looked at the black and white picture on the screen, his face got gloomy.

It turned out that she had been so close to Nick.

The last sentence of Nick clearly meant that he loved Bella, as long as she could be happy, he was willing to seduce Katherine.

Ziv stood beside him and hesitated to say, "My lord, from the conversation, the lady should not be at the same line with the second master."

"Of course, she is not." Charles's fingers flicked on the table. What he cared about was her last sentence, why didn't she refuse Nick's suggestion? Couldn't she hear the hint of his words?

Other man confessed his love to her, but she did not refuse.

This cognition made Charles very angry, but...he could not be angry with her. Their relationship just got better for a short time.

After seeing Bella walk away, Nick jumped out of the fence, his eyes swept over the position of the monitor and raised his lips slightly. Edwin, he could only help here.

Only when Charles and Bella’s relationship was broken, making them break up totally, then did Edwin have a chance.

As for Katherine? Certainly, he needed to chase by himself. It was said that there was an accident happened during the blood test last night, such kind of thing should be checked by himself could he rest assured.

As Bella got out of the elevator, she saw Ziv standing outside.

As soon as he saw her, he said respectfully, "My lady, the Lord asks you to go to his office."
