Chapter 234 Bad News from the Kingdom of the Seare-edited

The breakfast passed under the quarrels of the Spencer.

Charles stayed calm from beginning to end, he took his breakfast and watched their quarrels without a word, except occasionally answering one or two questions from Earl.

However, Katherine was crying all the time, while Earl also kept roaring.

Bella couldn’t stand for a second, and she left first after taking some milk.

Seeing that, Earl dragged Katherine angrily and was going to leave Williams’s Mansion.

But Katherine didn't want to go at all, crying all the way. “Dad, I don't want to go, I want to be with my Charles.”

Charles was sitting in the dining room, and hearing every word that Katherine said.

No matter what, they had lived together for five years and his heart was not a stone. After a short pause, he finally stood up and walked toward the door of the villa.

He stood in front of Earl and said coldly, “If Katherine doesn't want to leave, no one can force her.”

Katherine prayed for Charles. “Darling, I want to stay with you longer, just for a few more days.”

Earl got angrier. “Katherine, how many times Dad has told you, as a woman, you should be elegant and proud. They treat you this way just because you don't take yourself seriously.”

“I don't care, I just want him to love me.” Katherine cried without any dignity. “Dad, I beg you, give me a few days more, after that, I must go with you. I promise I will leave here immediately after school starts, please.”

Earl couldn't change her mind. He finally let her go though he was still angry. “Okay, I won’t force you but you will suffer a lot.”

As he just arrived in the Kingdom Z, he did not have a car. Then he walked alone to the beach. Charles sent a car to follow him, but he refused, and slowly moved along the coastline.

He walked toward the sea and suddenly he turned back and looked at the direction of Williams's Mansion. Like all parents who were worried about their child, he felt his daughter did not belong to him anymore, which made him feel helpless and lonely.

“Darling, my dear Charles.” Seeing this, Katherine seemed to be a breakdown, and immediately rushed to Charles's arms, bursting into tears.

“Fine, stop crying anymore.” Charles sighed silently in a soft voice.

The five years that they had spent together was such a long time, also it was the first time he had been with humans for so long. Although he didn’t love her, she did occupy a lot in his life, and he couldn’t leave her crying like this.

However, Katherine cried more and more heavily after feeling this.

Charles then put his hands in his trouser pockets to let her cry. He knew that she cried because of him, but he couldn’t understand why she couldn’t be like Bella who never cried.

He knew that Katherine had a bad temperature, which made him think that all women were the same. He didn't expect that women could also be like Bella.

If there weren’t Bella, he would have kept his promise of Katherine, but right now, Bella had given him too many different feelings.

The idea, that if someone was absent in your life, you couldn’t live anymore, never emerged into Charles’s mind before, however since he realized that Bella might not love him anymore, he couldn’t bear it.

If he didn’t have Bella, didn’t have Bella’s love, he couldn’t live well.

When Bella went downstairs, she just saw Katherine crying sadly in Charles’s arms.

She went down to the door, and below the steps were Charles and Katherine.

When she hesitated whether to say hello or not, Charles saw her, but he did not push Katherine away. He simply looked at her and frowned, “Where are you going?”

Bella felt her heart was blocked by a group of cotton. She tried hard to smile and be polite. “I need to work.”

Even Edwin had mentioned yesterday that he would like to announce her identity to the company, she refused at the end.
