Chapter 129 - You are Nothing

Charles turned cold, “Do you feel an antipathy against me?”

Bella smiled at him, “No, I just don't want to have another woman's taste in my mouth. After all, I am completely heterosexual.”

Charles reached his legs to clasp Bella’s waist and pull her back to him.

“Bella, what nonsense are you talking about?”

Bella looked at him with that smile still on her face. “Tonight, y.ou had been with Miss Spencer for quite a while. You must be unable to control yourself when your love is deep. Now you kissed me just after you have kissed Katherine with the same lips. It is evitable that there was her taste in my mouth.” She lowered her eyes and said to him seriously. “So, I need to brush my teeth.”

Charles smiled with vexation. “Bella, you are insane.”

Bella did not care what he said about her at all. She pushed him away. “Yeah, after all, I am such a narrow-minded jealous woman. My Lord, please let me brush my teeth. Otherwise, my terrible jealousy might harm the pure Miss Spencer tomorrow morning.”

Charles looked at her with an in-depth look. She thought that he might get angry again, but he said faintly, “We didn’t kiss.”

Bella paused for a while and then suddenly smiled, “I had seen it myself, My lord.”

She began to push him away again.

“Then I have brushed my teeth already.” Charles suddenly replied.

After the words were spoken, he was taken aback, let alone Bella.

He looked Bella in her eyes and then looked aside, “So, you don’t need to do that.”

Bella was shocked.

Was he, explaining to her?

Charles suddenly took her in his arms with his legs still around her waist.

Bella did not know what to say. But she knew the exhilarated feelings that generated in her mind.

His embrace was warm, big, and made her fascinated with him. But it was also evident when she thought of the moment he picked Katherine up and walked into his office.

Bella took a deep breath and pushed him away. She said softly, “My Lord, go to sleep. Please, you also need to work tomorrow.”

“I will sleep here.” Charles was as stubborn as a child.

Bella looked at him, “Don’t you remember what Miss Spencer was like when she saw you bite me this morning?”

How could he forget that? Katherine was unhappy the whole-time during breakfast. That was also the reason he brought her to work.

Charles’s face gradually darkened, his voice cold, “Bella, you can’t tell that you are so considerate.”

Bella smiled, “I just don’t want you to blame me for being the source of Miss Spencer’s depression. As you know, my mum’s life is still in your hands.”

Bella’s voice became lower and lower, while Charles’s face gradually changed colour.

“Bella!” Charles gritted his teeth and said.

Bella was lost in thought. She was also upset when she said that. But Bella would not allow herself to get deeper and deeper in her feelings for Charles. Though she did not like Katherine, to be fair, Katherine knew Charles first and was his girlfriend.

She would not go further, especially when she knew that Charles loved Katherine so much.

“My Lord, I want to suggest once more time that we try a test tube child.” Bella asked, “Don’t harm the one who loves you.” She forced a smile, “It must be hard for someone like the Lord to love someone. Since you love Miss Spencer so much, you should not upset her.”

Charles grunted and let go of her. He stood in front of the bed and had his back toward Bella.

His voice was as cold as before, “Bella, I will make your dream come true. Tomorrow, I will let Elsa know to prepare for the test tube child. When that has been successful, you can leave Williams Mansion. I will send someone to take care of you by then.”

Bella nodded her head, “It is the best solution. Thank you, My Lord.”

Charles suddenly turned around and looked at her coldly, “Bella, don’t count your chickens before they're hatched. You are not allowed to have any contact with Edwin Beck even if you leave here.

Charles left after he finished those words.

The door slammed shut, the noise was loud enough to be able to wake everyone in the entire building.

Bella stared at the doorway and was not sleepy at all.

His smell remained on the bed, on her lips, but he was not there. He would leave without hesitation if she mentioned Katherine.

He had refused her proposal of trying the test tube method many times before. But this time he agreed just because he was afraid that Katherine would be upset.

It turned out that was the way to love someone.

Bella put her hand on her chest to ease her heartache. She stood up to turn off the lights.

She went back to bed and tried to fall asleep again.

The next day, Bella got up at 7:30. She did not go to find Charles at 7:40 as usual. She went to the kitchen to prepare half a cup of her blood. She then went to the dining room and put the cup on the table in front of where Charles usually sat.

Bella did not want to see Charles and Katherine, so she deliberately skipped breakfast and directly went to catch the bus.

She ran into Katherine the moment she reached the doorway.

Katherine initially planned to scold the person she ran into, but she smiled when she saw it was Bella, “Why are you in such a rush this morning?”

Bella looked at her and said softly, “To go to work.”

“If I were you, I would be ashamed to say ‘work’ when you get the salary just by doing nothing,” Katherine said in quietly. Her eyes shone with disgust, but her smile was so innocent.

Bella was disdained to reply to her. Katherine then continued when Bella was about to leave, “Bella, don’t think that you’re the real ‘Lady’ here just because of a marriage certificate. Soon you will fall from that position. Wait and see.”

“I hope the day I am not the ‘Lady’ comes as soon as possible.”

Her words made Katherine’s blood boil. She got close to Bella and raised her lips, her voice was filled with cruelty, “Don't think that you had climbed the bed of Charles and that you could sleep without any anxiety afterward. Let me make this clear, you won’t be happy for long.”

As long as she thought of the moment last night that Charles left without touching her even though she was naked, she trembled with anger. From head to toe, nothing about Bella could compare to her.

Bella wanted to tell her something. That she was forced to stay here from the beginning. Charles imprisoned her, forced her to have sex with him so that she could give birth to his child with his terrible means.

But afterwards, it was true that she had fallen in love with Charles.

Bella was unwilling to argue with Katherine at all. Because it was clear to her that she meant nothing to Charles.

But now Katherine had gone too far.

“Miss Spencer, actually if you have faith in Charles and your love, you don’t need to say those things to me. You're threatening me for no reason which had only told me that you have no faith in yourself. You are not confident in yours and Charles’s love.”

Katherine became angry, she was embarrassed, “As a third party, do you think you are qualified to say that?”

Bella clenched her fists, she looked at Katherine and enunciated every word, “Anyway, legally, right now I am Charles’s wife while you are nothing.”
