Chapter 83 - Unsatisfied

It had taken twenty minutes for Bella to find Charles. He had left before Bella returned. She came to the gate of the hotel because she thought Charles might be there. But she was wrong.

She then went to the underground parking lot after she received a call from Ziv.

Charles was very dissatisfied with her, “It seems that you are accustomed to turning deaf ears to my words.”

For some reason, she had some grief in her heart. She was unable to force the formal smile as she always did. Her smile was uglier than her crying face, “You didn't tell me where you were.”

She said aggravated she did not even realize she was.

Charles looked at her with a half-smile, “Are you flirting with me?”

What was he thinking? Bella roared in her mind.

But she kept smiling and answered, “No.”

She still wanted the $1000 back. She had to be calm and tried not to anger Charles anymore.

Charles glanced at her, “Don’t you know how to call me?”

Bella bit her lip and said, “I did not want to disturb you.”

He kept a distance between them. He had two mobile phones, one for business and one for personal. Bella only had his work number, which was always busy.

So, she was classified as business. It turned out that delivering his child was official business!

Bella looked aside. She took a deep breath to calm herself down in case she would cry.

Charles pinched her chin with his slender fingers and forced her to look at him.

Looking at her red eyes, he frowned, “Are you crying?”

Bella pushed his hand away and smiled, “Yeah. I am just so happy. They are tears of joy. I felt so exhilarated when I saw what happened to Lynn just now.

After that, she exaggeratedly wiped her tears to cover the sourness in her heart.

If Martin Smith had been here at that moment, he would have been surprised to hear what she had said. He would not expect that the dull and serious Bella was so flattering now.

But no matter what she had done, Charles was still unsatisfied.

“I’m disappointed with you.”

Charles said as they left the hotel.

Bella was calm and in peace upon hearing that rather than keep begging for his forgiveness.

Anyway, she was always wrong no matter what she did.

It would be better to earn the $1000 on her own.

Lynn still cried, But no one came to comfort her, even her mother Laura didn’t know what to do. Loss crept on all of the people here.

Laura knew the director in the video. He specialized in making literary films. Although his movies did not draw large audiences, they readily got awards.

Lynn once said that she wanted to get an academy award by being the leading female role in one of his movies.

And it wasn’t easy to make a fake high-definition video. Once the video was proved true, the future of her daughter would be ruined.

“Martin, honey, you must trust me. The woman in the video was not me! You know Bella was framed, someone framed me too!” Lynn grabbed Martin's clothes and looked up at him. She kept crying, even her waterproof makeup ran.

Martin remained silent. But Laura Sanders said, “Of course we trust you. After all, we did that to Bella, there must be someone who would also have done that to us. Lynn, now the priority is to explain to the press.”

Mr. and Mrs. Smith left already. Later Len Sanders received a call from Mr. Smith, “If you are unable to clarify this to the press in three days. I will cancel the marriage between my son and your daughter.”

Lynn looked nervously at Martin and said, “Martin, honey. I am innocent. It must be Bella, she thinks that I have framed her and she wants revenge. Now she has Charles Williams to back her up, she would dare and is able to do anything.”

Speaking of that, her eyes lit up, she shouted out, “Right, it must be Bella Brook, that bitch. Or else why would Charles Williams have attended our ceremony today. Martin, honey, please think about it.”

Len Sanders was unhappy upon hearing that. He had invited Charles to the wedding. He had attended, and it must have been because Bella had agreed to marry him.

But if what Lynn said was true, didn’t it mean that there might have been no progress between him and Bella? Then did he still have the chance to get the sea route?

Thinking of that, Len growled at her, “Lynn, watch your words, how could you call Bella a bitch. After all, she is your sister.”

“Dad?” Lynn’s eyes widened out of surprise. “You stand up for that bitch now?”

Laura held Lynn’s shoulder and stood in the front of Martin, “See what you have said out of anger. What if Martin regarded you as rude?”

Though compared to Charles, Martin was nothing, he was also of a wealthy and influential family. It would only leave a negative impression on Martin if Lynn did not care about her words and actions.

Lynn ignored her mother and still said to Martin, “Martin, please say something.”

Martin silently pushed Lynn’s hand away; his tone was unfriendly, “Mr. and Mrs. Sanders, please take care of her.”

Then he walked away.

Martin did not think that he treated Lynn poorly. Like all other ordinary men, he liked glamorous and beautiful women. That was the reason he abandoned Bella and chose Lynn. Now he only felt furious after knowing that Lynn Sanders had cheated on him. However, he was well-educated and would not vent his anger toward her. He had to force himself to leave.

Lynn burst out crying, “Mom, what should I do? Martin will abandon me.”

Laura also did not know what to do, she blamed her, “Lynn, why are you so ignorant. You already had Martin, but you still get in such a relationship with directors and actors? Who can you blame for this? You reap what you sew!”

“I…I do not blame anyone. I just feel so sad. What should I do if Martin is reluctant to stay with me?”

After all, Lynn was her daughter. Laura could not abandon her in a time of need. Her heart melted at the sight of Lynn’s tears, “Don’t cry. Now that your wedding day is over. Wipe your tears and go to find Martin. No matter what means you have to use, sleep with him tonight. He is not a cold-blooded man. He will definitely forgive you as long as you make him comfortable tonight.”
