Chapter 82 – Too Many Thoughts

But Charles was much crueller, he told her the truth but still imprisoned her.

Bella clenched her fists. Her heart ached when she thought of the “theoretically” he spoke to her.

She could not stay here anymore. She wanted to leave.

Bella stood up and was about to leave. Suddenly there was some chaos in the crowd, and someone even screamed out due to surprise.

She stopped and looked in the direction that the people around her stared, her eyes fixed on the screen that played the video.

She was also taken aback.

Though she had wished that erotic photos would also appear at Lynn’s ceremony, she never expected it would actually happen.

On the big screen, the romantic photos of them were replaced with a pornographic video, in which a woman and a man were having sex. When the camera zoomed in, the woman’s face clearly showed, together with her expression at that time.

Lynn Sanders and Martin Smith on the stage finally collected themselves. They turned around to see the video. The same woman was there, but the man was a different one. The background was now in a dressing room. The woman was enchanting. She even raised her butt forwardly.

People were talking to each other, “The man in the video looks like a director, he looks so familiar... I cannot place his name.”

Suddenly the electricity cut off. It seemed that the computer had been hacked.

Lynn went mad and kept screaming out. Laura Sanders quickly took her away. Martin stood on the stage and accepted all the ridicule, shock, disdain, and satire from the audience.

He had acted as the vulnerable party the last time but what about this time? This was the second time this happened to him with two different girlfriends. That spoke more about the masculinity of the man than anything about the woman.

The video high-definition. It probably was a reality.

This time Martin could not shift the responsibility but had to accept it. He held back his anger and explained through the microphone. He then glanced at Charles who looked at him with disdain.

Did he make this? Martin thought.

He defended Lynn to the guests, “Please be quiet. I believe that Lynn Sanders is a good girl. Someone must have deliberately set this up.”

Martin ignored the strange looks they gave him and repeated, “We at DB Group will do our best to find out the truth and prove Lynn’s innocence. I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused. There is still a buffet so eat, drink and please enjoy yourself.”

He then put down the microphone and left the stage. He had to say that, after all, Lynn was his partner.

After he left, the people present talked louder and louder. Mrs. Smith passed out due to anger. Mr. Smith took her away at once.

Bella was thrilled. Lynn Sanders did get what she deserved!

No matter if the video was fake or not, she believed that Lynn now knew how she had felt.

Bella was frightened. She was too delighted that she forgot that Charles still sat beside her.

She turned around and met his blue eyes.

To hide her nervousness, she pretended to be calm, “Of course.”

Well, after a while, she suddenly realized, “A gift?”

She widened her eyes and asked, “You did that?”

Charles did not reply. But Ziv smiled and said, “The Lord had commanded me to dig up the truth about your pictures. I had figured it out but have had no chance to…”

Bella raised her head to look at him. It was hard for her to believe that. She did not know what to say to him and was at a loss.

“You…” Her voice was choked with emotions, “Excuse me, I need to go to the restroom.”

Why did he do those things for her? He first proved her innocence and then arranged the video to ruin Lynn’s reputation.

Was he avenging her?
