Chapter 80 – It is Time

Please, please do not look through it!

All the others lowered their head to greet the Lord, only Bella raised her head and looked at him.

After a while, Charles threw the sketchbook back on the desk and said scornfully, “Ugly.” He didn’t wish to show her that he was actually delighted that Bella looked at him when she was on the bus.

Bella sighed in relief. But not after long, Charles commanded, “Come with me.”

She was puzzled. “Are you talking to me?”

Why did not he even mention who he was speaking to?

Charles glanced at her. She nodded her head and then packed her things to go with him.

“My Lord, where are we going?” As they passed his office.

Charles did not answer her. She then asked, “Are we going to that thing you needed to go to?”

Charles suddenly stopped, and Bella cannoned into his back, inertia was proving itself great.

Suddenly pain moved from her nose to her eye sockets.

Charles did not turn around, and his voice sounded faint from behind, “Bella, you are talking too much.”

Bella held her nose. Though he was unable to see her, she still nodded her head and said, “Yes, my Lord.”

Charles did not have to turn around to see her expression, he only had to close his eyes.

When they walked out of the Williams Group building, Ziv was waiting for them.

Bella felt enormous tension when she was seated next to Charles. She straightened herself and sat still. Thankfully, the car soon stopped.

They were in the front of an internationally high-end clothing store.

She always talked too much and made too many mistakes. So, she remained silent and just followed Charles into the store. When they walked in, they were received by the salesmen.

“My Lord, we have prepared the dress as required.” The manager stood in front of him and respectfully said. Behind him, there was a woman that stood there holding a case.

Charles glanced at Bella and said, “Change your clothes now.”

Bella followed the saleslady into the fitting room. When she opened the case, a dazzling light shined brightly.

The dress was an asymmetrical blue perspective dress. The shoulder strap was designed to be transparent. The colour became darker and darker from top to bottom. There were vines and flower-like decorations on the dress, where diamonds were placed in the middle of each flower.

The dress was formal but not dull.

“Milady, please put it on. This dress was brought in from Italy by the Lord directly. This was the newest design for fashion week, which had not even been listed yet.” The woman urged her with an admiring look.

“Ok.” Bella blinked at her. She put the dress on by herself after consulting the details with the saleslady.

Of course, she was reluctant to change her clothes in front of others.

When she walked out of the fitting room after she changed into the dress, Charles had been waiting for her outside.

“Milady is so beautiful.” The manager could not help but praise her, even though he had seen many beauties.

The dress made her sexy and glamorous, which showed her perfect figure! With her cute and pure disposition, she was beautiful and enticing.

Every time Bella felt scared when she attended activities with him. Though she was in an elegant dress and was the focus of attention because she accompanied Lord Charles Williams, she was still just the ordinary Bella Brook when she took off the dress.

Charles looked at her and said, “Let’s go.”

Bella held Charles’s arm and reached the hotel. The journalists all crowded around at the sight of them.

“Is the Lord in a relationship with Miss Brook? You have attended all the events together recently.”

“Aren’t you afraid that her scandals would ruin your reputation?”

Bella bit her lower lip, why did these journalists bring these things up, that’s old news? 

She still did not have enough money to prove her innocence.

Ziv stood in front of them and took out a document. He showed it to the journalists and said, “This is the results from the National Centre for Technical Analysis. Please see clearly that the photos are all fake and Miss Bella should not have suffered from those rumours.”

Ziv held the document high. The journalists all looked up at it and took pictures.

“The seal indeed belongs to the center. Also, it was signed by the person who did the test and notarized.”

“I know him. He is impartial. Now, that's proof the photos are photoshopped, I trust that Miss Bella is innocent.”

Charles then left with Bella. She looked at him gratefully. He could feel her eyes on him; he did not look back but said, “You are mine. I am the only one that can bully you. All others who do so would pay the price for that.”

Bella was oddly flattered and said, “Thank you.”

She felt her nose twitched and was about to cry. Charles was the one who bullied her the most, why did she still feel happy?

Bella, you are so useless. She thought to herself.

They took the elevator to the top floor of the building. Just as Bella walked out of the elevator, she saw a video in which Martin Smith and Lynn Sanders hugged.

What was going on here?

At that moment, Martin Smith’s father and Len Sanders both came to Charles. They praised him.

“My Lord, I never expected that you would come in person. It is a great honour for us. Please…”

Charles passed them arrogantly before Len could finish his words.

He immediately followed and smiled at Charles, “We all feel flattered that the Lord could come.” He followed with a bright smile on his face.” He glanced at Bella and saw the big diamond on her ring and was even more delighted, “Bella, you are quite established with that.”

Bella furrowed her eyebrows and did not reply.

She did not believe that her mother being hurt had nothing to do with him. She was waiting, as long as Charles got the evidence, she must let him get what he deserved.

“My Lord, Bella, there are seats reserved for you two. Please be seated.”

Mr. Smith echoed, “It is noisy over there, please sit here.”

Charles did not look at them. Though Bella had hated Len Sanders, she still thought Mr. and Mrs. Smith were kind to her. She said to Mr. Smith softly, “Mr. Smith, you can just leave us and go to your place.”
